À propos de cet événement

Description

The Chakra Healing Retreat is a short residential retreat at the Sedona Mago Center for Well-being and Retreat in Sedona, Arizona. It is for anyone drawn to working with the body's energy centers through movement, breath and energy practices, with the aim of restoring harmony in body, mind and spirit. It is hosted by the center's teaching team, rooted in the Eastern traditions the center is known for.

What to Expect

Over a weekend-length stay of three days, you activate and balance your chakras through three kinds of practice: gentle movement, conscious breathing and energy work. The approach reflects how Sedona Mago teaches in general, with guided meditation and mindful movement drawn from Eastern traditions, set alongside quiet time in nature. The center describes its programs as a way to leave with practical tools for everyday life: greater awareness, balance and connection.

About Sedona Mago Center for Well-being and Retreat

Sedona Mago Center for Well-being and Retreat is a 173-acre spiritual retreat center among Sedona's red rocks. It is owned and operated by Tao Fellowship, a 501(c)(3) non-denominational nonprofit, and works from the mission "Love Humanity, Love the Earth." The center has offered a place for healing for nearly 30 years. Its programs teach Tao healing methods, Qigong and meditation, and range from weekend meditation and chakra healing to longer stays such as Finding True Self, the Sedona Wellness Retreat, the Revitalizing Detox Retreat and a vortex healing retreat.

The Setting

The retreat takes place on the center's grounds at the foot of Sedona's red rocks, a landscape that has drawn people seeking rest and renewal for a long time. Retreats here include accommodations and nourishing pescatarian meals, so the days can stay unhurried. The grounds include a healing lake, a meditation labyrinth and walking paths, which makes it easy to step outside between sessions and let the practice settle.

Before You Go

The retreat is offered as a gentle introduction to chakra work, and nothing in its description asks for prior experience. The center's teachings are for wellbeing and are not a substitute for professional medical or psychological care. If you take medication, continue it as advised by your healthcare provider and speak with them before making any changes.
