À propos de cet événement

Description

Cannabis Facilitated Healing Ceremony is a private plant medicine ceremony led by Vuyiswa Kayembe at Awaken Sanctuary in Pretoria West, Gauteng, South Africa. It approaches cannabis as a sacred plant medicine rather than a recreational substance, offering a held, therapeutic space for psycho-spiritual exploration and nervous system regulation. It is meant for people who want to meet cannabis with preparation, respect and a real commitment to self-awareness.

The ceremony is offered one-to-one, for couples, or for small private groups. It may suit you if you want a gentle introduction to sacred plant medicine, feel disconnected from your body, emotions or intuition, are moving through stress, burnout, grief or a major life transition, or are curious about what cannabis can offer beyond recreational use. It is not for anyone seeking intoxication or entertainment.

What to Expect

Vuyiswa Kayembe facilitates every ceremony personally. There is no rigid script. The session follows what is emerging in you, in your nervous system and in your response to the medicine, moment by moment.

Depending on what arises, the ceremony may include open-hearted conversation, somatic awareness, guided introspection, sound, movement, silence, time in nature, breathwork, psycho-spiritual coaching and integration practices. As cannabis quiets mental activity and relaxes the body's protective responses, many participants describe a slowing of consciousness that makes room for deeper awareness. Some also experience trance states that deepen meditation and inner guidance and, where it fits their own beliefs and readiness, a sense of ancestral presence.

The aim is never to chase extraordinary experiences. Insights are supported so they can be explored, understood and integrated into daily life.

Participants often describe leaving with:

- a calmer, more regulated nervous system
- greater body awareness and emotional intelligence
- less mental noise and more inner stillness
- a clearer understanding of subconscious patterns
- more intuitive awareness and self-trust
- a healthier, more intentional relationship with cannabis

Every experience is different, and none of these outcomes is guaranteed.

About Vuyiswa Kayembe

Vuyiswa Kayembe is the facilitator of the Cannabis Facilitated Healing Ceremony and of the Awaken Experiences, which include sacred plant medicine in person. She holds each session through continuous attunement to the person in front of her, combining conversation, body-based awareness and integration work with the ceremonial use of cannabis.

The Setting

Ceremonies take place at Awaken Sanctuary in Pretoria West. Where appropriate, they can also be held in your own home or at another agreed location, including destinations abroad. Travel costs may apply.

Before You Go

Sessions are private, so the format is arranged with you: one-to-one, as a couple, or as a small private group with a minimum of five participants. The final investment depends on location, group size and the level of facilitation required, and is confirmed after a consultation. Come ready to approach the ceremony with preparation and respect, and with a genuine intention toward healing and self-understanding.
