Retraite de yoga
Description
Burnout to Balance is a yoga and mindfulness retreat at Xinalani Retreat in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico, made for people who are stretched thin and need a real pause. It is led by Aurora Myers, a teacher of yoga and mindfulness-based stress reduction, and it suits anyone who gives a great deal to others and wants to feel at home in their body and mind again, however flexible they believe themselves to be.
What to Expect
The retreat is built around an intentional reset: time to step back, find clarity and decide what matters most. Yoga and mindfulness practices are offered as movement that feels nourishing and deeply relaxing, with no flexibility requirement.
Each day follows an easy rhythm:
- 7:00 am to 7:30 am: morning coffee and snacks
- 8:30 am to 9:45 am: morning yoga and mindfulness
- 10:00 am to 11:00 am: breakfast
- 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm: lunch
- 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm: evening yoga and mindfulness
- 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm: dinner
The long gap between lunch and the evening session is open for the kayak, snorkel gear and other activities you may want to sign up for. Aurora also arranges those activities and the details of your travel itinerary once you land in Puerto Vallarta, and she talks with you before the retreat to learn what you hope to take from it and which parts of the practice you would like to explore more deeply. The aim is for you to turn your brain off and rest.
About Aurora Myers
For 14 years, Aurora Myers has studied and taught stress management by bringing together yoga and mindfulness principles. She is known for turning frameworks into practical, accessible practices for modern stressors, and for playful, unexpected movement classes rooted in experimentation. She invites students to treat their practice as a laboratory and to co-create and customize each pose. Her humor, lively playlists and warm encouragement make for a welcoming, non-judgmental room.
