The October Taurus Full Moon and the Art of Saying No

À regarder · 7

In an October update recorded ahead of the full moon in Taurus on October 26 and 27, spiritual teacher Sonia Choquette makes an argument that cuts against the usual astrological pep talk: the message this lunation carries is to relax, and relaxing is only possible once you know exactly where your yes ends and your no begins. She ties the full moon to the inner senses, especially clairsentience, the ability to feel what is real and what matters. She says the first thing that clear sensing reveals is the location of your real boundaries. Her framing treats boundaries not as walls or ultimatums but as the truth of you surfacing, and she claims that until that truth is honored, guidance cannot reach you. What follows is a close reading of her argument, the stories she uses to make it, and the practical distinctions she draws for anyone who has been agreeing to things they quietly no longer want.

Lecture · 7 sections

Why is the message of this full moon to relax?

Choquette opens with an observation about the year's tone. "I haven't heard a whole lot of encouraging messages in this fire horse year of hold on, we're all taking off," she says, and against that backdrop the instruction from the full moon is to catch your breath. She frames it as a moment to get back into your body and to tell apart what is legitimately threatening you or legitimately changing from what is simply old reaction. That distinction is the hinge of the whole update. Most people, in her account, are not overwhelmed by the world so much as by the leftover charge of old habits that keep firing whether or not the situation calls for them.

The relaxation she describes is not passive. It is a precondition for seeing clearly, and the clarity she is talking about is specific: it concerns what you agree to, what you tolerate, and what you have been doing out of reflex.

What is clairsentience, and why does it switch on in October?

Choquette lists the inner senses the full moon activates. Clairvoyance is the ability to see behind the scenes and get a sense of what is really going on. Clairaudience is hearing beyond the words, picking up intention and motivation, and tuning into your guides. Clairsentience, in her telling, is the one "really turning on in October": the capacity to sense clearly what is real and what deserves attention.

She also says the senses are not a matter of belief. "Science says we have inner senses. Every mystic says we have inner senses," she says in the video. Whatever one makes of that claim, her practical point is that a sense that is never honored becomes useless. "They don't do you any good unless you honor them," she says. The full moon, in her reading, is the period when that honoring becomes unavoidable.

Of the three senses, she singles out clairsentience as the life-changing one because of what it exposes: "what your real boundaries are." That is the pivot from metaphysics to behavior, and it is where her teaching becomes concrete.

Why can't intuition come through when you're saying yes to everything?

Choquette's diagnosis is that empaths in particular are often unclear about their energetic limits. The mechanism she describes is delayed. "When you feel everybody's energy, it's hard in the moment to know when something has gone past your true limit," she says. "Until you have a delayed reaction." The sequence she sketches is familiar: yes, yes, yes, and then a flare of anger that arrives too late to be useful. She reads that anger not as the problem but as the boundary finally making itself known.

She then uses a metaphor that gives the article its title-level image. Taking in everyone else's energy without filter, she suggests, is like living in Grand Central Station: so much traffic moves through you that your own signal cannot be heard. The noise has to settle before guidance can arrive, and the settling begins when you name your own yes and no.

She offers a set of self-inquiry questions to test this. Are you noticing that you are saying yes to people or situations out of fawning, out of fear, to keep the peace, out of conditioning? Are you tired of catering to other people's egos just to keep them from being reactive? Her list is less a checklist than a mirror, and she asks the viewer to answer in the comments because, in her view, being witnessed helps make the new position real.

What does a boundary sound like in a real conversation?

The most vivid passage in the update is a story Choquette tells about a client, a woman with a pushy mother-in-law who criticized the house, dictated how to raise her preteen children, and expected to be obeyed. For fifteen years the client had gone along with it. Then, at a visit, the mother-in-law mocked the daughter's colorful outfit and asked why she was allowed to wear it.

Choquette recounts the client's reply: "I'm not letting her wear anything. I'm allowing her to express herself, and that's important to me." Choquette calls that "boundary words," and she is precise about their structure. The client did not argue the fashion choice. She stated what she allowed and why it mattered to her. When the grandmother smirked and turned disrespectful toward the child, the client named the behavior directly: it was not nice, it was judgmental, and it was unkind and uncalled for. Choquette's summary is worth quoting in full because it captures her standard for a boundary: "I wasn't angry, I was just clear."

The result was not a blowup. The mother-in-law shut down and backed off. Choquette acknowledges it was awkward and says more pushback should be expected, but she reads the moment as "the mark of a new beginning."

How do you state a boundary without exploding or going silent?

Choquette's guidance for the in-between is consistent across the update. A boundary is stated calmly and from the heart, not delivered as a threat and not withdrawn into sulking. She draws a line between speaking and yelling: the boundary holds its ground without needing to win the argument. "You don't have to fight for it, you just claim it," she says. That distinction matters because much of the anxiety around saying no comes from imagining a confrontation that never has to happen.

She also describes a boundary that protects inner knowing, not just behavior. This is the statement "this is my intuition and you're not going to talk me out of it." She gives examples of the phrasing she has in mind: this is what my heart says, this is what I feel in my bones, this is what my gut tells me. "You don't have to agree," she says, "but leave me be to honor what's going on for me." In her view, many people are intuitive but have no boundaries around their intuition, so it gets trampled and lost in other people's opinions.

She also notes that the work will involve negotiation. "There's a lot of negotiation or renegotiation that's going to come up in the next 30 days," she says. Expect other people to test the new terms, and expect yourself to feel awkward while you hold them.

Why does protecting your energy make intuition clearer?

The logic of the whole update rests on a causal claim: boundaries are not separate from intuition but a condition for it. "Boundaries are essential to actually knowing and receiving intuitive guidance," Choquette says, and when new boundaries are set, "it's going to quiet the intrusive energies... And with that, guess what? It's going to elevate your intuition." She connects this to alignment and to manifesting, describing protection of your energy as the step that makes those possible.

She offers a last piece of practical guidance in the middle of the video: a throat-level practice of singing, including in the shower, as a way of opening the voice before it has to speak up. She suggests that singing makes the voice stronger and easier to find, which in turn makes a boundary easier to say out loud. The reasoning is simple and somatic, in keeping with her emphasis on getting back into the body.

Where to go from here

Choquette's October message is less a prediction than an invitation to notice. Start with the question she returns to: what have you agreed to, gone along with, or tolerated that now feels as though it has reached its expiration date? Separate what is genuinely changing around you from what is only an old reaction firing again. Practice one sentence of boundary language that is calm, specific, and grounded in your own experience, the way the client did with her daughter. Then pay attention to what your intuition says once the noise has quieted.

Choquette's full update, including her free download on ten ways to sharpen intuition, is available on her own channel. The video is worth watching in full for the passages this summary cannot cover, especially her account of the friendship she describes near the end, in which a long-standing relationship is tested by diverging outlooks. For anyone whose yes has been running on autopilot, her core claim is a clear one to test against their own experience: the no is part of the signal, and the signal is what makes intuition usable.

Watch the update on YouTube, read Choquette's full free intuition resource, and bring one honest answer to the question she asks: where have you been saying yes, and what would it mean to say no there?

[0:00] The full moon in Taurus is coming

[0:02] October

[0:04] 26th, 27th. This This full moon is

[0:08] a gift.

[0:10] And it the biggest gift it's going to

[0:12] invite you

[0:13] to do [music]

[0:14] is relax. Now, I don't know about you,

[0:17] but I haven't heard a whole lot of

[0:20] encouraging

[0:22] messages in this fire horse year of hold

[0:25] on, we're all taking off. That the the

[0:27] message is to relax.

[0:30] So, this is an important opportunity to

[0:33] just [music] catch your breath, get back

[0:36] into your body, and recognize what

[0:39] really is

[0:41] legitimately threatening you or

[0:43] legitimately changing

[0:46] versus what is just you can relax.

[0:49] Now, why can you relax?

[0:52] Because one of the things this full moon

[0:55] triggers

[0:56] is the awareness of your inner senses.

[1:00] These, like the clairvoyance, the

[1:02] ability to see

[1:05] to have a vision, to see what's going on

[1:07] behind the scenes, to have a sense of

[1:09] what's really happening.

[1:11] Clairaudience, you know, to hear beyond

[1:13] the words, to to tune into intention and

[1:18] to tune into motivation and to tune into

[1:20] what what what is what's really

[1:23] happening and to tune into your guides.

[1:25] And then there's clairsentience. This is

[1:27] the one that's really turning on in

[1:30] October. October. Lots have been

[1:31] happening in October, but this ability

[1:34] to clearly sense

[1:36] what is real and what is what is

[1:39] important to pay attention to. And also,

[1:41] and this is the life changer one,

[1:44] what your real boundaries are. You know,

[1:46] the biggest challenge most people have

[1:49] or I I say that a lot, but one of the

[1:52] major challenges people face in life,

[1:54] especially empaths, people who would

[1:56] come to this channel, maybe people like

[1:58] you,

[1:59] is that we're not really that clear

[2:04] about our energetic boundaries. What

[2:07] where is our yes and what is our no?

[2:12] The reason we're not clear is because

[2:14] when you feel everybody's energy, it's

[2:16] hard in the moment to know when

[2:18] something is gone past your true limit.

[2:22] Until you have a delayed reaction.

[2:24] It's sort of the yes, yes, yes, yes,

[2:27] yes, and then no way. I'm angry and

[2:30] and that's that's that is your boundary

[2:33] finally coming to mind, but

[2:36] this month it's going to become more

[2:39] apparent as we move toward this new this

[2:42] um full moon. It's going to become more

[2:44] obvious to

[2:46] what your real yes and no are. So, let's

[2:49] let's ask right now. Take a moment and I

[2:51] want you to pause and think about this.

[2:54] Am I becoming more aware?

[2:59] Is part of my intuitive activation, am I

[3:02] becoming

[3:04] more aware of

[3:07] of what

[3:09] I'm agreeing to that I really don't want

[3:11] to agree to?

[3:13] That I'm saying yes

[3:15] to people or situations

[3:18] out of fawning, I've talked about that

[3:21] before, out of fear,

[3:24] out of it's easier, keep the peace, out

[3:27] of conditioning,

[3:29] just go along with it, who do you think

[3:31] you are?

[3:32] Are you noticing that there's something

[3:35] awakening in you that just isn't quite

[3:38] that willing

[3:40] to continue

[3:42] to cooperate with things that truly

[3:44] don't work for you?

[3:47] To be involved with people that ask more

[3:49] than they should.

[3:51] To uh take on responsibilities or or

[3:56] cater to people's egos just to keep them

[3:59] from being reactive or acting out or

[4:03] negative. You know, I have

[4:05] I have a client this week

[4:07] a woman who said, "I have a very pushy

[4:09] mother-in-law. She has just been like a

[4:12] bull in a china closet. She comes over,

[4:15] criticizes,

[4:17] just tells me to rearrange my furniture,

[4:19] tells me how to raise my kids who are

[4:21] preteens or 12 13 years old,

[4:25] and just

[4:26] has absolutely no filter

[4:28] on sharing her opinion, but beyond that,

[4:31] expecting me to

[4:34] to cooperate with it, to submit to it,

[4:37] and to do and to take her opinion as the

[4:39] better way and do what she wants. And

[4:41] she said for

[4:43] for 15 years I've gone along with this.

[4:46] But this week, she came in and my

[4:49] daughter walked in. She's a preteen, and

[4:51] she's wearing a real colorful, I thought

[4:53] quite cute outfit, and my mother-in-law

[4:55] said, "What do you Why do you let her

[4:56] wear that?"

[4:58] And normally,

[5:00] you know, I kind of

[5:02] mumble through some excuse or try to

[5:05] try to placate her, but I said,

[5:08] "I'm not letting her wear anything. I'm

[5:10] allowing her to express herself, and

[5:12] that's important to me."

[5:14] And the mother-in-law was surprised. And

[5:16] my mother-in-law kind of

[5:18] was surprised by my clear

[5:20] indication that this was my boundary.

[5:23] This is important to me. Those are

[5:24] boundary words.

[5:26] And smirked and rolled her eyes and was

[5:29] very quite frankly disrespectful to my

[5:32] daughter, and I said, "That's not very

[5:34] nice.

[5:35] And I would appreciate if you wouldn't

[5:36] treat your granddaughter like that.

[5:38] It's not nice.

[5:40] It's very judgmental, and it's it's

[5:42] unkind and uncalled for."

[5:45] And then I really flustered her. But

[5:47] instead of attacking me, she shut down.

[5:51] She backed off. She stopped pushing her

[5:54] opinion on both of us, and

[5:56] it was awkward, for sure. I'm sure I'll

[5:59] have more of this, but it was the mark

[6:01] of a new beginning.

[6:03] And I wasn't angry, I was just clear.

[6:06] That that is a a a new boundary

[6:09] invitation. I'm wondering

[6:11] if you are starting to feel some of that

[6:16] clarity as you go through this month.

[6:18] You know, this month is new beginnings,

[6:20] this month is the end of an era, this

[6:22] month is flushed up a lot that's been

[6:25] hidden in the basement of our beliefs,

[6:27] and in the dungeons of our unconscious

[6:30] selves have come up. But now, we're not

[6:32] going to just leave it there. Now, we

[6:34] get to choose new boundaries.

[6:36] I've decided I'm having new goals. That

[6:38] was part of this month. I'm going to go

[6:40] for a new version of me, but that means

[6:42] I'm going to block

[6:44] and no longer they're cooperate with the

[6:47] things that don't respect me.

[6:49] With the things that don't align and

[6:50] don't don't support who I choose to be

[6:53] now. So, of course, it's inevitable.

[6:56] Have you noticed that? That's really

[6:58] important. Put it in the in the

[7:00] comments, because

[7:02] you might not have thought about it

[7:03] until I brought it up, but these new

[7:05] boundaries, this new awareness to say

[7:08] this works, this doesn't work,

[7:11] and it's you don't have to fight for it,

[7:13] you just claim it, is really going to to

[7:18] calm your life down.

[7:20] It's going to quiet the intrusive

[7:22] energies. It's going to calm

[7:25] your energy down. And with that, guess

[7:27] what? It's going to elevate your

[7:29] intuition.

[7:31] Absolutely. Boundaries are essential

[7:36] to actually knowing and receiving

[7:39] intuitive guidance, and knowing that

[7:41] that's guidance for you.

[7:43] So, this big new this big full moon is

[7:47] about your boundaries, getting back in

[7:49] your body, checking with the truth of

[7:51] you to support this newly awakened you.

[7:56] And part of those boundaries

[7:59] are around, this is my intuition and

[8:01] you're not going to talk me out of it.

[8:03] That's game-changing for people. This is

[8:07] what my heart says, this is what I feel

[8:10] in my bones, this is what my gut tells

[8:13] me.

[8:14] You don't have to agree,

[8:16] but leave me be to honor what's going on

[8:19] for me. Leave me I'm you know, you're

[8:21] not going to take me away from my

[8:23] authentic feelings.

[8:25] So, there's a lot of negotiation or

[8:27] renegotiation that's going to come up in

[8:30] the next 30 days. And this is about not

[8:34] only cuz here's my experience with

[8:36] people, people are very intuitive.

[8:39] They just have no boundaries around it

[8:41] and it gets trampled over and lost.

[8:43] Well, that's what this new this this

[8:46] full moon in Taurus is changing.

[8:49] It's activating your inner senses. And

[8:53] guess what? Science says we have inner

[8:55] senses. Every mystic says we have inner

[8:58] senses. Every every bit of this world is

[9:03] affirming we have inner senses now and

[9:06] that we cannot deny them. So, they don't

[9:09] do you any good unless you honor them.

[9:11] And that's what this full moon period is

[9:14] coming about. What is your intuition

[9:16] telling you? What are your emotions

[9:19] telling you? What is your body telling

[9:21] you? And are you listening and saying, I

[9:25] have to protect that. I am going with

[9:28] that and there is no argument here.

[9:31] No argument.

[9:33] This is my inner senses and I am

[9:36] respecting them.

[9:37] So,

[9:38] start by thinking, what have you agreed

[9:42] to in the past

[9:44] or gone along with or tolerated

[9:47] that suddenly

[9:50] is on an expiration date that just

[9:52] you're not willing to anymore. I met a

[9:54] friend she'd known since

[9:57] probably grammar school. She said,

[9:59] "Young, I was 10, 12 I met in grammar

[10:02] school

[10:03] and we've been friends for a long time.

[10:06] We have moved to different states. We

[10:08] both have families, but we've been

[10:10] friends although in the last 5 years our

[10:13] outlooks

[10:15] have greatly

[10:17] diverged. We don't I don't agree with

[10:20] her on a lot of things. She's She is

[10:24] and it probably I realize has always

[10:27] been

[10:29] extremely judgmental of other people,

[10:31] highly critical of other people,

[10:34] um what I would call snarky,

[10:37] very condescending, eye-rolling affair

[10:40] comments. And she said, "I used to go

[10:42] along with that.

[10:44] In fact, we had a shared humor about

[10:46] that for many years in my late teens,

[10:49] but I don't feel that way anymore.

[10:52] And I haven't really, you know, I've

[10:53] gone from agreeing and laughing with her

[10:56] to listening and and and smiling through

[10:59] it, but she said, 'Now,

[11:01] I just said last week when she said

[11:03] something really rude about a mutual we

[11:06] were both going to

[11:08] be visiting and attending her wedding

[11:10] and I said, 'I don't I don't agree with

[11:12] you and I don't want to lend the

[11:14] impression I do.

[11:16] I don't agree with that. I love our

[11:19] friend. I love who she is and I love who

[11:21] she's marrying and what you're saying is

[11:24] really unkind. Why are you even going to

[11:26] the wedding if you feel that way?'

[11:28] And she said, "They were fighting words

[11:30] for sure. That My friend was shocked

[11:33] because she was always the one who kind

[11:34] of led the relationship. So, this is a

[11:38] full moon in Taurus

[11:40] feeling, you know, it starts it starts

[11:42] before but rises to its peak and really

[11:45] shows up when you come into this energy

[11:48] because, you know, the full moons move

[11:51] oceans.

[11:52] They are going to move the energy, the

[11:55] waters in you, which are your emotions.

[11:57] So, if all of a sudden

[11:59] you're speaking up, you're saying

[12:02] something that that that's important. I

[12:04] have another client

[12:06] who runs a naturopathic clinic and she's

[12:09] had a business manager for about 5 years

[12:12] who was just she's said for the last

[12:14] three or four, really basically a bully.

[12:18] She was not nice, she would show up

[12:21] late, she would be defensive, she would

[12:23] make decisions without asking me, she

[12:25] would push back and argue if I brought

[12:27] it up, and I was scared of her.

[12:29] But this week she did a one time too

[12:31] many and I just surprised myself by

[12:34] saying, "You know what? This isn't

[12:36] working for me and I'd like you to quit

[12:39] your job. I'd like you to I'd like to

[12:41] let you go. So, you can either quit or I

[12:42] can fire you, however way this wants to

[12:44] go, but the truth is

[12:47] this is not working for me. It's not a

[12:48] match. This is not aligned with my

[12:51] vision."

[12:52] And the person was shocked.

[12:54] She had literally was a kind of woman

[12:57] who had moved through her entire life

[13:00] being kind of an aggressive bully. And

[13:02] bully is part of Taurus.

[13:05] Full moon in Taurus, so my client

[13:07] bullied back, kind of gave her big bull

[13:10] push back.

[13:12] And it was not a pleasant moment, she

[13:14] was not nice about it, she threw a noisy

[13:17] fit,

[13:18] but she left.

[13:20] And my client said it was the best

[13:22] feeling

[13:24] to have this big bullish person leave

[13:27] and me take charge. I was willing to

[13:29] have nobody in her position

[13:31] versus being this continued

[13:34] relationship. It was wrong. So, you

[13:37] know, full moon is like the bullies get

[13:39] outed and you get to push back. That's

[13:42] boundaries.

[13:43] So, I want you to be prepared for that,

[13:46] but if someone in the full moon

[13:49] if someone in the full moon is

[13:52] overstepping with you,

[13:55] you will certainly feel it. You will not

[13:58] be able to just go along with it like

[14:00] you have been in the past. You will feel

[14:03] it.

[14:04] And your 5D self, your more conscious

[14:08] self

[14:10] is going to make it very clear to you

[14:14] that you should not put up with this.

[14:16] So, be prepared.

[14:19] Be prepared to say something.

[14:22] >> [snorts]

[14:22] >> And here's a very wonderful tool for you

[14:26] to use

[14:29] to get ready to say something without

[14:32] exploding, without a big dramatic fight

[14:34] or collision.

[14:36] And it might seem super weird

[14:39] that one thing will lead will help

[14:41] another, but start singing.

[14:43] In the shower, going for walks, along

[14:46] with the radio, your favorite playlist,

[14:49] because it opens

[14:51] this throat chakra, and this Taurus

[14:54] energy definitely affects this throat

[14:56] chakra.

[14:57] So, if you sing, you're opening and

[14:59] letting your spontaneous self come out.

[15:01] You're letting your heart express, cuz

[15:03] this is connected to your heart. So, I

[15:07] would recommend as a big tool

[15:09] make a list, sing even put in the

[15:12] comments, what are some of the favorite

[15:13] songs you sing?

[15:15] It's like classic music you know the

[15:17] words to,

[15:18] fun rock and roll songs, whatever,

[15:20] Broadway tunes.

[15:23] Open the throat so that you can let that

[15:25] energy out. Let your voice come through.

[15:29] And guess what else will come through?

[15:33] Your intuition.

[15:35] Because that comes up from here. Your

[15:38] your inner senses are working and you

[15:41] unblock this and let that intuition come

[15:44] through.

[15:45] Whoa.

[15:46] It's going to be not only

[15:49] expressed, but people will respect it

[15:52] that that's your truth and not to mess

[15:54] with it.

[15:55] So, this is about power. It's about

[15:57] taking your power back and taking your

[15:59] voice back and taking your your energy

[16:02] back and getting getting back in charge

[16:05] with with being in charge of the way

[16:08] your life goes and not letting yourself

[16:10] be bullied, be overwhelmed, be

[16:13] manipulated by others. This full moon in

[16:16] Taurus is saying, "Well, those days are

[16:18] over."

[16:19] It's so exciting to have those days be

[16:21] over.

[16:22] So, I'm going to give you a PDF

[16:25] that was going to have free a a free

[16:26] download that's just going to show you

[16:29] how to strengthen your intuition, okay?

[16:32] Just just tools to really

[16:35] let that voice of truth come out

[16:39] in this in this full moon. And this

[16:41] doesn't mean you just download and and

[16:43] you just, you know, flush all the

[16:46] the turbulent emotions down on someone.

[16:49] That's not what we want to do. That's

[16:51] not useful.

[16:53] It's more just just acknowledge what is

[16:57] true,

[16:58] what is your true yes, your true no,

[17:02] and that if somebody is overstepping

[17:05] that you just very clearly and calmly

[17:10] say, "That doesn't work for me."

[17:12] This is such a game changer. And when

[17:14] you start releasing your intuition and

[17:17] people push back and say you're crazy,

[17:19] you're nuts,

[17:20] stick with it. Say, "It works for me.

[17:23] It's true for me. It's my It's It's what

[17:27] my inner self feels, and I'm I'm going

[17:30] to respect it."

[17:31] There's a lot going on in this full moon

[17:34] that really allows you to find your

[17:37] power.

[17:39] You find your voice. You current your

[17:41] voice expresses what's true. You find

[17:44] your boundary. You push back to anything

[17:47] that is overwhelming. You calmly and

[17:50] clearly recognize your true yes, your

[17:53] true no.

[17:54] And all of that settles

[17:57] agitation and energetic and noisy

[18:00] intrusion, and the

[18:01] gift the surprise outcome is clear

[18:05] intuition.

[18:07] So, look in the in the notes below for

[18:09] your free PDF on on how to recognize,

[18:12] sharpen, and activate your intuition.

[18:14] That PDF is very good for you.

[18:17] And I want you to start even even put in

[18:20] the comments right now, what is an area

[18:24] of your life that you have been saying

[18:26] yes to when you really now need to say

[18:28] no?

[18:29] Because when minute you put it here and

[18:31] you are witnessed by everybody on our

[18:33] channel, it strengthens you.

[18:36] Because if you say, "I'm no longer going

[18:38] to let my mother-in-law intimidate me."

[18:42] I We don't need to get in a fight. We

[18:44] don't I don't need to correct or change

[18:46] her outlook. I just need to tell her

[18:48] when it when you speak to me, I'm not

[18:51] receiving this.

[18:52] I don't receive this. I'm not taking

[18:55] this in. I am not allowing you to

[18:57] overwhelm or override what's correct for

[19:01] me. We're going to learn to respect one

[19:04] another. We're different.

[19:07] And I'm not going to push you to be see

[19:09] my way, but you're going to respect that

[19:10] we're different. This is one of the best

[19:13] things about the full moon in Taurus is

[19:16] when you start aligning, your health

[19:18] gets better.

[19:20] You know, one woman said to me after she

[19:22] finally said to her husband,

[19:25] "I'm over you checking out on your phone

[19:28] and me just making all the plans and

[19:31] taking everything while you just show up

[19:34] and occupy space.

[19:36] Either you put your phone away and you

[19:38] get involved in helping me with take

[19:40] care of this house and family and kids

[19:43] or you take your phone and you go away

[19:46] because you're complicating and making

[19:48] very difficult for me

[19:51] >> [snorts]

[19:51] >> to run this family when you're right in

[19:53] the middle of the intersection of things

[19:55] and you don't contribute a thing. You're

[19:56] like a black hole."

[19:58] A lot of people are feeling this way

[20:00] about about their relationships. If your

[20:02] partner isn't

[20:04] isn't doing their fair share, it's

[20:05] getting called out these days.

[20:08] He was shocked. He pushed back, got very

[20:10] belligerent, very reactive and she said,

[20:12] "I don't care what you say. Either you

[20:14] get on board and you start showing

[20:16] interest and put your phone away when

[20:18] you come home

[20:19] and show interest in the kids and show

[20:21] some initiative about keeping this house

[20:24] flowing, take the garbage out, help me

[20:26] cook, set the table, put the kids to

[20:29] bed. These are not my jobs or you

[20:31] leave."

[20:33] And he said, "I'm leaving." And she he

[20:35] threw a fit and very reactive and she

[20:37] said, "Well, you know what? I welcome

[20:38] that. You can go

[20:41] because you're not contributing to my

[20:43] life." And he wasn't really contributing

[20:45] much financially that she depended on.

[20:48] So, she had the the freedom to say that.

[20:51] And she meant it. She said, "Actually, I

[20:53] do think that's the right choice. Go.

[20:56] Just go. I would welcome that." And she

[20:59] said, "I was so clear and so calm."

[21:02] He did. He left.

[21:04] Next morning he's calling, "I'm sorry.

[21:06] I'm sorry." And she said, "Until you

[21:08] truly change how you bring your energy

[21:11] into this house, I don't want you back."

[21:13] So, I don't know what's going to happen

[21:14] with them, but the old way, or his

[21:18] passive bullying of like I'm I'm just

[21:21] going to sit here and do nothing, ended.

[21:23] This is going to be a big theme for a

[21:25] lot of people this month. Be aware of

[21:28] your energy. Be aware of other people's

[21:30] energy. What is the truth? Not in your

[21:33] head, in your body. Is someone bullying

[21:37] you, draining you? Are you doing that to

[21:39] someone? Well, this this full moon

[21:42] certainly is going to bring an end to

[21:44] that. Certainly, it's going to bring it

[21:45] up

[21:46] to a conversation.

[21:48] Absolutely. Secondly, when you're in

[21:52] this energy, you want to get in your

[21:54] body, and the whole point is I need to

[21:56] feel good in my body.

[21:58] I don't need to have a bunch of

[21:59] confrontations, and but in order to feel

[22:02] good in my body, I can't be trampled

[22:05] over by everyone else's energy.

[22:07] I can't listen to my intuition if all

[22:09] I'm doing is trying to manage everybody

[22:11] overwhelming me. I can't even hear it.

[22:14] So, you need boundaries.

[22:17] This boundaries is not walls, it's not

[22:19] standoffs, it's not ultimatums.

[22:22] It's just the truth.

[22:24] This over with This is not respecting

[22:26] me. I don't want to do it anymore.

[22:28] So,

[22:30] there's a lot of awakening. It's part of

[22:32] intuition. It It's not Intuition is not

[22:34] something randomly happening outside of

[22:37] you that you occasionally get distracted

[22:40] by.

[22:41] It is the truth of who you are rising to

[22:44] the surface and trying to keep you

[22:46] aligned, because when you're aligned

[22:49] with yourself, you're powerful. And when

[22:52] you are aligned, you can manifest

[22:54] things. You can attract things. You can

[22:56] see and make choices that either take

[22:59] care of you, protect you, connect you,

[23:03] uplift you. But if it's chaos in your

[23:06] body

[23:07] and people are coming and going like

[23:09] Grand Central Station in your energy

[23:11] field, you're not going to get your

[23:13] intuition. You're not going to intercept

[23:15] your intuition. It's going to be overrun

[23:17] by all this

[23:18] overwhelming intrusion. Okay.

[23:22] We are being invited this month. It's

[23:24] been like a massive renovation of the

[23:26] energy month and I'm excited about it.

[23:29] It's been intense in a good way.

[23:34] We're going to see the truth

[23:36] of things and we have been.

[23:39] We are initiating new things and we have

[23:41] been.

[23:43] We are ending old things and we have

[23:45] been. But now the next piece is to

[23:47] create a new garden.

[23:49] You plant the seeds and then you put a

[23:51] fence around it. Like, don't I planted

[23:53] something here. Don't step on it.

[23:55] And that's what this full moon in Taurus

[23:58] is about. Don't step

[24:00] on my

[24:02] beautiful new self emerging.

[24:06] And it's about speaking, not yelling,

[24:08] not ranting, not raging.

[24:11] Clearly stating

[24:13] from your heart, this is what's

[24:15] important to me and I would like for you

[24:17] to respect it even if you don't agree

[24:19] with it.

[24:21] Same thing.

[24:23] Listen to others if they're saying

[24:25] something's important to them.

[24:28] Respect it. You don't have to agree to

[24:30] it. You don't have to submit to it. You

[24:32] can say we're different.

[24:34] We're We're just different. And we're

[24:36] going to have to learn to live with our

[24:37] differences.

[24:38] And then you get to choose. Do you want

[24:40] to live with it or not? Cuz you also

[24:42] have the freedom to leave.

[24:44] So it's quite a big

[24:46] quite a big passage here. Full moons are

[24:48] intense for sure. And a full moon in

[24:50] Taurus is going to be like stop in your

[24:52] tracks

[24:54] and take a pulse on what's true. But

[24:55] when you do, it's very exciting because

[24:58] it gives you foundation,

[25:02] ground

[25:03] to build this new life that you've been

[25:05] working on all month. That's the

[25:07] ultimate end goal here, foundation.

[25:11] So get your get the free PDFs. You

[25:13] really have a a guideline

[25:16] >> [snorts]

[25:16] >> of what is intuition, what is true, what

[25:18] is accurate, that you have the thing so

[25:21] that when it's time to speak up, your

[25:23] throat chakra's already open.

[25:25] And speak calmly.

[25:28] You can practice. If you already know it

[25:30] isn't working, start saying it out loud

[25:32] while you're in the shower, in the car,

[25:33] write it down. Practice. So when it's

[25:36] time to express it to someone, you're

[25:38] not over overwhelmed by your emotion or

[25:41] anxiety. Just this is what's true for

[25:43] me.

[25:45] I have a client who by who who just had

[25:47] this experience. She's been in therapy

[25:49] there with her partner. They're not

[25:51] married. They go to therapy. They're

[25:54] trying to figure out She doesn't know.

[25:56] She said, "I don't really know what's

[25:57] wrong in my relationship. He wants to

[26:00] marry me. I'm not right there. I can't

[26:02] really I'm not clear."

[26:04] Then all of a sudden,

[26:06] as we're moving through this October

[26:07] month, she said, "I got clear.

[26:10] While he's super nice,

[26:12] he's pretty checked out. If something's

[26:14] important to me and I tell him, he

[26:16] doesn't really

[26:18] it doesn't really give me any support or

[26:20] acknowledgement. It's like, 'Yeah,

[26:21] right. Good. Okay, Nina.' And just

[26:24] just goes right past me back to his own

[26:26] thing."

[26:27] So she said, "I was I I I just got clear

[26:30] as I was on a walk the other day and I

[26:31] went back to him very calmly and said,

[26:33] 'You know what?

[26:34] One of the major things wrong with our

[26:36] relationship is that if something's

[26:38] important to me and I share it with you,

[26:41] you don't really register it.

[26:43] You're not really paying attention.

[26:45] You're not really

[26:46] giving me the support and the

[26:48] encouragement that that someone who

[26:50] cares

[26:52] should give me and I I don't I don't

[26:55] appreciate that.

[26:56] I feel like you're you're you're not

[26:59] bothered to you won't bother to give me

[27:02] any kind of real attention and I need

[27:03] that now.

[27:05] If we're going to have any future

[27:07] I'm not going to have a future with you,

[27:09] you know, being semi-interested but

[27:12] mostly just involved in your own thing.

[27:14] So, it's up to you, but I'm not going to

[27:17] have that future and that is why I

[27:18] haven't committed to you already, but

[27:21] I'm clear as to

[27:23] this is probably one of the major

[27:25] reasons why. And instead of getting

[27:27] defensive, he said, "You're right.

[27:30] You're right. Thank you for telling me

[27:31] in a way I could hear."

[27:33] So, that is the kind of thing you can

[27:34] get this week.

[27:36] And what become going forward in your

[27:39] life, the kind of clarity that gives you

[27:40] power

[27:41] >> [snorts]

[27:41] >> to create what you really want.

[27:43] I'm going to give you more encouragement

[27:46] around this throat chakra because this

[27:48] is the big opening to the inner senses,

[27:50] to clarity, to boundaries, to truth. So,

[27:53] watch this next video next because it

[27:56] gives you so much information, so much

[27:59] understanding

[28:00] of where we're really going with this,

[28:02] plus it brings in the gift of clear

[28:06] intuition.

Choquette says the full moon in Taurus on October 26-27 asks people to relax and to recognize what is truly threatening or changing versus what is old reaction. She ties it to the activation of the inner senses, especially clairsentience, and to clarifying one's real yes and no.
In her update, Choquette describes clairsentience as the ability to clearly sense what is real and what is important to pay attention to. She says it is the inner sense turning on most strongly in October, and that the first thing it reveals is where your real boundaries lie.
Choquette explains that when you feel everyone else's energy, it is hard to notice in the moment when something has passed your true limit. People often say yes repeatedly and only react with anger later, a delayed reaction that she reads as the boundary surfacing.
Choquette recommends stating the boundary calmly and from the heart, focusing on what you allow and why it matters, rather than arguing or withdrawing. She summarizes the stance as 'You don't have to fight for it, you just claim it.'
She argues that boundaries are essential to knowing and receiving intuitive guidance, because they quiet intrusive energies and settle the noise that otherwise drowns out inner signals. In her view, once that quiet is in place, intuition becomes clearer and easier to trust.
Choquette suggests singing, including singing in the shower, as a way to open the voice before you have to speak up. She presents it as a practical way to strengthen the throat and make it easier to state a boundary out loud.
