From Terminal Diagnosis to New Skin:One Woman's Entanglement with Healing

On the third day of treatment at a Cancun clinic, the doctor wheeled Solara out of her room and made a quiet declaration: "We're going to create a miracle." In that moment, something shifted inside her. She recognized that she had already manifested something powerful, though she had no idea yet how deep that recognition would run.

Six months earlier, Solara had received the terminal diagnosis no one wants to hear: advanced breast cancer. The treatment itself—aggressive, aimed at saving her life—succeeded. All the cancer vanished. But the victory came with a cost that doctors told her would require surgical reconstruction. A tumor had burst through her breast tissue, leaving behind a 17-centimeter ulcer, a wound so large it bore the exact geometric footprint of the cancer it replaced. The body, the doctors explained, cannot close such wounds on its own. After the aggressive anti-cancer treatment, the tissue simply lacks the capacity. Surgery—complex, extensive, and disfiguring—was presented as inevitable.

But Solara had learned something in her healing journey that most people never get to test: the power of asking not just for physical recovery, but for the life attached to recovery. She didn't ask to simply close the wound. She asked for something specific enough to anchor her imagination, vivid enough to become real.

The Architecture of Imagining a Future Self

For over two years, Solara had been unable to enter water. No swimming. No ocean. No dogs running into the surf with her watching from the shore. The absence haunted her. So when faced with the choice of accepting surgical amputation or refusing it, she oriented her entire healing practice around one clear, embodied image: herself swimming—in Cancun, specifically—with her dogs, her breast intact, her body whole. Not just functional. Alive in the way it had been.

She began what Dr. Joe Dispenza and his community call "entanglement"—a term drawn from quantum mechanics and adapted into healing practice. Entanglement, in this context, means becoming so viscerally connected to a future version of yourself that the present self begins operating from that future's reality. Solara didn't visualize healing abstractly. She inhabited the body of the woman who had already healed, who had already returned to the water, who had already moved on from cancer and surgery and limitation. She did the work—the meditation, the visualization, the recalibration of her nervous system around a different outcome—and kept on entangling with that future self.

The wound did respond. Over the months following her initial remission, the 17-centimeter ulcer gradually closed. Progress was real but incomplete. Two years into the healing work, it had reduced to 7 centimeters—substantial improvement, but a stall point. Her doctors offered another option: stem cell treatment. The cells could regenerate tissue, fill the gap, finish the work that visualization alone had begun. The cost was $30,000, a sum that felt impossible after the financial toll of cancer treatment.

When Abundance Arrives Unplanned

Solara's husband contacted a friend who ran a stem cell clinic in Chicago. He asked a simple question: what does this treatment cost? The answer came back not as a number but as an offer: "I'll send them to you." As a gift. A treatment worth $30,000, becoming an act of generosity.

The stem cells arrived. Solara's husband began the injections. The wound continued to close, but again it plateaued. The clinic called back: "I'll keep sending as many as you need." The gift kept expanding, kept meeting the need, kept showing up without negotiation or limit. Over two months, as the stem cells worked alongside her continued visualization practice, the remaining wound shrank to almost nothing. Her doctor suggested they stop active treatment and simply observe what would happen next.

For the first time in two years, Solara discontinued her wound dressings. She cancelled her Amazon subscription to medical supplies—a small gesture with large symbolism. She was letting go of the identity of being a person requiring constant medical management. Within a week, something remarkable occurred: the ulcer formed a scab. Medically, this shouldn't happen. Ulcers don't form scabs because they're internal wounds, lacking the protective layer that allows normal healing. Yet there it was. The body, it seemed, had decided to close itself in a way medicine hadn't anticipated.

Ten days before returning to Cancun for an advanced retreat, the scab fell away. Underneath was new skin. Not scarred. Not grafted. New. Solara went swimming.

Receiving as Part of the Healing

What strikes Solara about her healing wasn't only that it happened, but how it happened. She didn't engineer the outcome through force or control. She imagined it, embodied it, entangled with it—and then received help in forms she never could have manufactured. A gift of $80,000 worth of medical treatment from a stranger's generosity. A body that defied medical expectation and closed a wound deemed impossible to close without surgery. An invitation back into the water at precisely the right moment.

"It was not just a miracle because I didn't know how it was going to happen," she says. "I just knew I'm going to make this happen. But I think it was something else that I needed to receive—this gift of abundance." The deeper teaching wasn't about mind over matter or willpower overcoming biology. It was about learning to hold a vision so clearly that you remain open to the unexpected forms in which that vision arrives. It was about receiving.

The woman who beat terminal cancer and then beat the consequences of that cancer's treatment had, in the process, beaten something else: the scarcity mindset that says you must do everything alone, that abundance is something you must claw toward rather than something you can be positioned to receive. She became entangled not just with her healed future self, but with the kind of person who could say yes when generosity showed up unannounced. That, perhaps, was the final healing—the one that made all the others possible.

Where to go from here

If Solara's story resonates with something in your own healing journey, consider these directions: First, get specific about what your healed life actually looks, feels, and smells like—not just the absence of symptoms, but the presence of what matters to you. Second, practice embodying that future version of yourself in meditation or visualization, not as a wish but as a current reality you're already living into. Finally, notice where you might be blocking or refusing abundance in smaller forms, because the capacity to receive—whether a gift, an unexpected healing, or an opportunity—is itself a practice.

[0:00] On the third day that I was doing this

[0:02] treatment, the doctor was taking me out

[0:04] in the wheelchair

[0:06] and he said to me,

[0:08] "We're going to create a miracle." So,

[0:10] there and then I already knew I

[0:11] manifested something very powerful.

[0:15] This is a follow-up to a story of

[0:19] transformation that I did last November

[0:22] in Cancun

[0:24] where I talked about how I was

[0:26] completely healed from terminal

[0:29] um breast cancer.

[0:32] When I went I went for a treatment and

[0:34] the first day that I was there, the

[0:35] doctor said to me, "Well, at the end of

[0:37] this treatment, you're going to have to

[0:39] have a surgery because I had a tumor

[0:41] that had burst out of um

[0:44] my breast and I didn't know, but he

[0:47] explained to me that after the

[0:48] treatment, the body is not able to to to

[0:51] close. So, an ulcer would form and the

[0:54] body can't close it.

[0:58] After the treatment, sure enough, I had

[1:00] an ulcer which was 17 cm. It was the

[1:03] footprint that the tumor had left. So, I

[1:07] finished this and I had my miracle. All

[1:09] the cancer was gone and I had this

[1:11] ulcer. And I thought, "Well,

[1:14] if I've completed a miracle, I'm just

[1:16] going to keep on doing the work. I'm

[1:18] just going to keep on changing more and

[1:20] I'm going to imagine this." And so,

[1:23] something that was really important for

[1:25] me was I didn't want to have a surgery

[1:27] because I would lose what was left of my

[1:29] breast and it was a complicated surgery,

[1:31] but more than that, like, why did I

[1:33] really want this?

[1:35] And I thought, "Well, I really want to

[1:37] swim. I want to swim with my dogs

[1:39] again." It had been over 2 years that I

[1:41] could get in the water. And I wanted to

[1:43] swim in Cancun.

[1:46] So, I did the work and I kept on

[1:49] imagining and I kept on actually

[1:51] entangling, which is a lot of the theme

[1:52] of this event, entangling with that

[1:54] future self that was swimming and that

[1:57] had a healthy breast.

[1:59] So, it closed up after Cancun

[2:02] maybe to about this size, 7 cm, and then

[2:05] it kind of stopped.

[2:07] So, I I talked to the doctors, is there

[2:08] anything else that we can do? And he

[2:10] said, "Well, you can do a stem cell

[2:12] treatment and we can see what results

[2:14] you have with that." And I said, "How

[2:16] much does that cost?"

[2:18] And he said, "$30,000." And I said,

[2:20] "Well, after everything I've spent

[2:23] right now, that's just not an option for

[2:25] me."

[2:28] So, my husband

[2:30] gets in touch with a friend of his that

[2:31] has a clinic in Chicago and just asks,

[2:34] "How much is the stem cell treatment

[2:36] there?"

[2:37] And his response was

[2:41] "I'll send them to you." Meaning as a

[2:43] gift.

[2:45] So, he sent sent us the stem cells and

[2:47] my husband started injecting them and it

[2:49] started closing,

[2:51] but it didn't close and he said, "I'll

[2:53] keep on sending as many as you need."

[2:57] As many as you need.

[3:01] So, about 2 months after

[3:05] what I had left was this and the doctor

[3:07] said, "Let's stop right now. Let's see

[3:09] what this does."

[3:11] And so, for the first time in 2 years, I

[3:14] stopped using all my wound dressings. I

[3:16] let go of my Amazon subscription

[3:19] to wound dressings and within about a

[3:22] week, a scab formed. So, ulcers don't

[3:24] form scabs because it's an internal

[3:26] process. And right about 10 days

[3:30] before coming to this event in Cancun,

[3:34] that scab fell off. I have all new skin

[3:37] and I went swimming. And so, it was not

[3:40] just a miracle cuz I didn't know how it

[3:42] was going to happen. I just

[3:44] I'm going to make this happen, but I

[3:46] think it was something else that I

[3:48] needed to receive this gift of

[3:50] abundance, which actually we worked on

[3:52] in November, this gift of abundance of a

[3:55] a treatment that was close to $80,000 as

[3:58] a as a gift.

[4:00] So, thank you.

Questions fréquemment posées

According to Solara's experience, visualization alone didn't completely close her 17-centimeter ulcer—it reduced it from 17cm to 7cm over time. However, when combined with stem cell treatment and the practice of 'entanglement' (embodying a healed future self), the wound responded in unexpected ways, eventually closing completely without surgical intervention. The mechanism appears to involve both nervous system recalibration and openness to medical support.
Entanglement, as Solara describes it, means becoming so viscerally connected to a future version of yourself that your present self begins operating from that future's reality. Rather than visualizing healing as something distant, you inhabit the body and life of the person who has already healed—swimming again, living without limitation—until the boundary between present and future collapses.
In Solara's case, stem cell treatment contributed significantly to the wound's closure after plateau, though it didn't close the ulcer completely on its own. Her doctor suggested stopping active treatment to observe what would happen—and that's when the unexpected scab formation and final healing occurred, suggesting the body's own regenerative capacity may activate once given the right conditions.
Solara identifies learning to receive as a crucial part of her healing—receiving the $80,000 stem cell treatment as a gift from an unexpected source, receiving her body's own capacity to heal, and receiving the opportunity to return to swimming. She describes it as releasing a scarcity mindset and positioning herself to accept help in the forms it actually arrives.
Solara's ulcer took approximately two years to fully resolve, with the major reduction happening in the first months after remission, a plateau period, and then final closure after she discontinued medical dressings and allowed her body's own regenerative process to take over.
While Solara's case is extraordinary, she avoided the reconstruction surgery her doctors recommended by combining sustained visualization practice, entanglement with her healed future self, medical treatment (stem cells), and allowing her body's own regenerative capacity to complete the healing—though the final mechanism surprised even her medical team.
Solara doesn't claim quantum physics directly healed her; rather, the concept of entanglement—borrowed from quantum mechanics—became a framework for her visualization practice, helping her understand how becoming entangled with a future version of herself shifted her nervous system and openness to healing in the present.
