[0:02] hey everybody welcome to this
[0:04] presentation about the Bhutan Harmony
[0:07] Retreat and this is a retreat that I run
[0:09] every year to Bhutan and I've been doing
[0:12] this since 2018 with Dr Karma who was an
[0:16] ex monk for eight years in the monastery
[0:18] and he's a really great resource to
[0:22] travel with he also trained a lot of the
[0:24] tour guides on how to teach Buddhism to
[0:27] to guests in the the ministry of of
[0:29] Tourism and he's also a very funny
[0:32] person and so in this presentation I
[0:35] will go over our itinerary our program
[0:37] and if you have any questions you can
[0:39] jot them down in the chat and I will
[0:42] answer them as towards the end and um
[0:45] yeah so first I wanted to start with uh
[0:48] when the retreat is it's happening April
[0:50] 10th to the 17th 2025 I'm running one
[0:54] later on in September um and that
[0:57] Retreat is already underway and so you
[0:59] can join April if that is something that
[1:03] if this presentation speaks to you and
[1:04] you feel called to the land I think
[1:06] that's really important that the land
[1:08] has to speak to you I love running
[1:10] retreats to charged sacred places with
[1:13] lots of holy sites because there's
[1:15] something about when you land in a
[1:17] certain place that's uh that you can
[1:19] palpably feel and it takes you to a very
[1:22] different state of consciousness it's
[1:24] it's very beneficial to your personal
[1:26] and Spiritual Development and so you
[1:28] could say that you know the only only
[1:30] reason I travel personally is really to
[1:32] visit sacred sites um okay so that's
[1:36] when our next Retreat is uh bhan Bhutan
[1:39] is the land of the thunder dragon It is
[1:40] believed that the wild thunderstorms
[1:42] that struck the Himalayan mountain peaks
[1:43] were from the fire of a dragon and and
[1:46] when we travel in Bhutan we're just
[1:48] literally surrounded by these holy
[1:50] Himalayan peaks with ice snow in the
[1:53] kind of far distance Everest is kind of
[1:55] far off somewhere to the distance you
[1:57] can't quite see Everest um where we are
[2:01] um but it is nearby Nepal's just kind of
[2:04] a hop skip and a jump away um so we are
[2:06] kind of nestled in the crown chakra of
[2:09] the
[2:09] world and 83% of the country they are
[2:13] vadana Buddhists there are three major
[2:15] schools of Buddhism and the vadana
[2:18] Buddhist school is also sometimes known
[2:20] as Tibetan Buddhism or tantric Buddhism
[2:22] and 11% are Hindus and the minority
[2:26] include Christians and the local folk
[2:28] religions of the now the was the
[2:31] indigenous religion that was very
[2:34] animistic very shamanic that existed
[2:37] from they they're still there but they
[2:39] are the minority but they were the
[2:40] predominant religion from the year 700
[2:43] and before uh in the tiet and Bhutan
[2:47] region and the the bonpo people were
[2:51] very much uh into ritual and into
[2:54] worshipping loal Dees and they had lots
[2:56] of local folk dances and uh various
[2:59] animal sacrifices and and Buddhism came
[3:01] along and kind of took away you know the
[3:03] animal sacrifices and whatnot but what
[3:05] was interesting was that there was a
[3:08] blend so when you travel to Bhutan
[3:10] you'll see uh uh this integration
[3:12] between the old folk religion and also
[3:15] how Buddhism is practiced there um
[3:19] Bhutan is also if you're not familiar um
[3:22] it's famously known as the first country
[3:24] in the world to measure the gross
[3:28] national happiness versus gross national
[3:31] product and so most countries measure
[3:34] success through how much profit they're
[3:36] yielding and how great the economy is
[3:38] and what the employment rate is and
[3:40] Bhutan you know they have this ministry
[3:43] that sends um uh they do uh surveys
[3:47] around the country to to see how how how
[3:49] happy people are um how content they are
[3:52] with what they have and there's
[3:53] something about the culture uh and and
[3:56] the way that the government has uh
[3:58] protected the culture and the values
[4:00] that are instilled through just Buddhist
[4:03] belief systems that allow them to accept
[4:07] uh the nature of of life and to move
[4:10] through in such a way that's very
[4:11] accepting and so it's a it's it's a
[4:14] really
[4:15] interesting U experience to be in to be
[4:18] around people who are very very open and
[4:21] very simple
[4:23] also um More than 70% of the country is
[4:27] covered by trees and mountains and it's
[4:29] actually the first carbon negative
[4:31] country alongside Panama and Sur and
[4:35] yeah so yeah the air is just beautiful
[4:39] to breathe in and they have a lot of
[4:42] Hydro power that they export to India um
[4:45] and then their other main uh source of
[4:48] economy is tourism so those are their
[4:50] two main things the temples are charged
[4:53] with years and years of focus meditation
[4:55] and spiritual energy here's a group that
[4:57] came with me in 2018 and there's a there
[5:01] there's Tiger's nest in the back of this
[5:03] picture and this is a temple that's
[5:05] built on a sheer Cliff Cliff with a
[5:07] vertical drop uh and and just some of
[5:10] the the temples are when you walk in you
[5:12] can't describe them it's it's just very
[5:15] powerful and we sit and we meditate and
[5:18] and and we just absorb uh everything
[5:21] that's around us uh so preservation and
[5:24] protection of the bhane natural
[5:27] environment and ancient culture culture
[5:29] is at the Forefront of their government
[5:31] policy and this is why you know the
[5:34] butine government limits the amount of
[5:37] um tourists who come in uh they they do
[5:40] they are in this very interesting place
[5:43] in their history where they have to move
[5:46] forward with the times and Co definitely
[5:48] did that when they um kind of pushed
[5:51] things into a more digital era for them
[5:54] um but then also they have this very
[5:57] strong um desire to protect their
[6:00] ancient culture and their customs and so
[6:02] when you walk around Bhutan you'll see
[6:04] the men and the women uh wearing their
[6:07] their traditional dress so the men wear
[6:10] what is called a go and then the women
[6:12] wear the Kira and um and and yeah so
[6:16] this is this is their national identity
[6:18] and this is something you don't really
[6:20] see uh people walking around wearing you
[6:23] know clothing from the 700s um so that's
[6:28] about their national identity uh the
[6:30] Royal government believes that
[6:31] unrestricted access to the country would
[6:33] have a negative impact on the natural
[6:35] environment and ancient cultural
[6:38] traditions and uh that's why when you do
[6:41] travel to Bhutan you'll see that there's
[6:43] very few people very few tourists um um
[6:47] coming through it's it's uh quite
[6:50] curated um so that's that's the reason
[6:52] why the government charges a tourist tax
[6:54] of $150 US per day during the high
[6:58] seasons and all VIs visitors must be
[7:00] escorted by a government appointed
[7:02] official at the uh at all times when
[7:04] they're traveling through the country
[7:06] and you know you know unlike Nepal have
[7:09] you ever traveled through Nepal you can
[7:12] kind of go off on your own whereas
[7:13] Bhutan is is not like that and some
[7:15] people wonder well why why why is it
[7:17] like that um and and Bhutan has seen
[7:20] what's happened to places like Nepal and
[7:24] uh you know it's a a Thailand and they
[7:27] they don't want that they want to very
[7:30] much preserve their culture and so
[7:33] that's why there is this Hefty tourist
[7:35] tax uh and that's kind of what limits
[7:38] the people coming in but the tourist tax
[7:41] also you know it helps them with their
[7:43] their their their school systems and
[7:46] their health care um every day during
[7:48] the the program we're practicing Daily
[7:51] Yoga and also meditation and sometimes
[7:54] we'll even get to practice outside like
[7:56] in this beautiful place this is um near
[7:58] one of the um wrathful Buddhist dieses
[8:01] uh temples um and so yeah this is this
[8:05] is a beautiful day when this picture was
[8:07] taken um and then we also do shamanic
[8:09] breath work Journey workshops where we
[8:11] use the breath to guide us into a deeper
[8:14] state of uh Consciousness and to receive
[8:18] Insight from uh other aspects of
[8:21] ourselves from you know hidden parts of
[8:23] ourselves the inner child parts of
[8:25] ourselves parts of ourselves that need
[8:26] to be healed but it's not always about
[8:28] healing you know sometimes the breath
[8:30] work Journeys are about inspiration and
[8:33] where are we going to move forward to in
[8:35] life you know what kind of divine
[8:37] guidance can Propel us forward into the
[8:41] exactly what's in alignment with us and
[8:44] um we also have opportunity for some
[8:47] healing ceremonies and this is all very
[8:49] individual depending on on the groups
[8:51] and and what is feeling uh necessary in
[8:55] the moment and we co-create these
[8:56] together as they are necessary and so
[8:58] though there is a structure to the
[9:00] places that we visit in Bhutan and um
[9:04] there's also flexibility in how we we
[9:07] create experiences together so we visit
[9:10] four places primarily we visit timu
[9:13] parro Paka and ha Valley timu is the uh
[9:16] New Capital which is probably its most
[9:19] modern um you know kind of setup um and
[9:23] then parro is the this the old capital
[9:26] that you fly into um and you know the
[9:29] plane kind of goes in on on an angle um
[9:32] as you're Landing into the Himalayas and
[9:33] very few Pilots are actually uh licensed
[9:36] to fly into Bhutan uh and then the Paka
[9:38] Valley which is uh subtropical so it's
[9:41] quite warm there it's uh it's a very
[9:45] fertile Valley and then we go to the ha
[9:47] Valley which is probably the coldest
[9:49] Valley we go to which is probably the
[9:50] most remote place that you'll go to in
[9:53] um in the the Southwest um and so we
[9:57] travel through these four different
[9:59] cities and we visit the holy sites the
[10:03] temples and we go on little hikes uh and
[10:06] then we we do our
[10:09] practices so yeah we're spending time in
[10:12] some of the oldest Buddhist temples in
[10:13] the world um we're also visiting like
[10:17] for example here is um this is a pass
[10:20] that you drive up to and on a clear day
[10:23] you can see the himin peaks in the
[10:24] background and there's 108 of these uh
[10:27] these are known as Chens in Bhutan uh in
[10:30] Nepal they're called stupas stupas are
[10:32] these kind of holy uh little houses that
[10:36] um the Buddha actually was buried in one
[10:38] of these kind of stupa Toren um things
[10:41] and they look different um depending on
[10:43] what country you're in um but it's a
[10:45] holy uh it's a Holy House
[10:49] essentially and the climate so yeah
[10:52] because we do travel to four different
[10:55] cities the climate varies so it can go
[10:57] anywhere from 10 degrees Cel at night to
[10:59] 25 degrees CSUS during the day uh yeah
[11:03] because April is Springtime um and you
[11:06] know the road to De drawn flowers will
[11:07] be out in bloom and during the day it
[11:10] can get quite hot because we are walking
[11:12] outside and uh if there's no cloud
[11:15] coverage you might have to take some
[11:17] layers off um at night is is when it
[11:19] gets chilly but don't worry we have you
[11:21] know heaters in the hotels um and we
[11:24] stay at very beautiful boutique hotels
[11:27] across the four cities they're all four
[11:29] stars
[11:30] and um you know they they take care of
[11:32] us and they're insulated and they're
[11:34] warm and so we'll be comfortable
[11:37] um here's just some uh testimonials from
[11:41] some students who have come to a past
[11:44] Bhutan experience um this one is from
[11:47] Teresa witnessing Tiger's nest and the
[11:49] feelings of spirituality there was
[11:50] phenomenal it was just the most
[11:52] emotional experience that I've had uh in
[11:55] a long time the thing that impressed me
[11:56] the most was the energy of all the
[11:58] beautiful people on this retreat and
[12:00] that's one of the things about Retreats
[12:01] that I love is when we gather together
[12:05] there's something unique about each and
[12:07] every group that can't be quite
[12:10] duplicated and we're all medicine for
[12:13] each
[12:13] other all the stories that we share all
[12:16] the things that people are going through
[12:18] all the things that people are coming
[12:19] out of um and just the communal support
[12:24] and just being around like-minded people
[12:26] who are on a spiritual path is is is
[12:30] really uh it's really awesome and it's
[12:33] Indescribable the kind of energy that's
[12:35] created in these containers and so yeah
[12:39] I just I love watching people in these
[12:42] groups um learn about each other and
[12:45] learn about themselves through each
[12:47] other that's always really fascinating
[12:49] to me and really heartwarming here's
[12:51] another one um it's a it's been a
[12:53] wonderful Retreat I came here without
[12:55] expectation I was totally surprised the
[12:57] entire team was so accommodating the
[12:59] most thing I'll take away is the warmth
[13:01] of the people who joined this journey
[13:02] from Dan yeah and that's the thing you
[13:04] know on this Retreat we will take care
[13:07] of you um we have a team on the ground
[13:09] we'll have transport arranged you really
[13:11] don't have to do anything but show up
[13:13] and be open and to be willing to dive
[13:17] into the practices that we will engage
[13:19] in that can be quite life-changing if
[13:21] you really give yourself permission to
[13:23] fully go there um so uh yeah this is
[13:26] what's included we have our daily yoga
[13:29] meditation
[13:30] practices um the shamanic Journey
[13:32] workshops which won't happen every day
[13:34] because that would be too intense since
[13:35] we are traveling we'll probably have
[13:37] them every other day um and then we have
[13:39] cultural activities we visit two in the
[13:42] morning after uh breakfast uh we visit
[13:46] either a little hike or we go to a
[13:49] temple visit and then we'll have lunch
[13:50] somewhere in town and then we'll go off
[13:52] to another sacred Temple and all the
[13:55] meals are included breakfast lunch and
[13:57] dinner and tea and snacks of course all
[14:00] of our fourstar hotels that we're going
[14:03] to be staying in all of the local
[14:05] transport by car uh in Bhutan so we
[14:08] travel with with a coach that fits 12
[14:11] people and all of our luggage just kind
[14:13] of gets stored either up top or we have
[14:16] like another car that car carries the uh
[14:18] the baggage and then you get picked up
[14:21] from the airport it's um and you get
[14:23] sent backs to the airport um Dr Karma
[14:26] leads us um depending on if there's more
[14:29] or less people we might have more hands
[14:31] on deck to kind of support um and then
[14:34] cultural programs of course are all
[14:36] included um and you know every every
[14:39] group varies because different things
[14:41] will be happening in the temple
[14:43] sometimes there's festivals going on
[14:44] sometimes there's a visiting Rime or you
[14:47] know a spiritual Master coming from out
[14:49] of town um coming to do a teaching so uh
[14:52] various cultural programs will be
[14:54] dependent on the time of the year and
[14:57] then all the special entry fees so every
[14:58] time you enter Temple there is an entry
[15:01] fee so we take care of all of that um
[15:04] and then of course the high peak travel
[15:05] visa costs um so remember that was at up
[15:08] to $150 per day we include all of that
[15:12] um there's also a visa application fee
[15:15] on top of that believe it or not which
[15:17] is $140 us um and we take care of that
[15:20] as well um there's also uh I put
[15:23] everyone in a WhatsApp chat so that we
[15:25] stay connected uh when we uh land
[15:29] together in in Bangkok some people are
[15:31] flying into Delhi those are the the
[15:33] three main cities you can enter Bhutan
[15:36] are from Delhi Bangkok and catmandu the
[15:40] other place that you can enter Delhi
[15:41] through is through Singapore except
[15:43] there's only one flight a week there and
[15:45] unfortunately that flight does not time
[15:47] out without Retreat and so I recommend
[15:49] everyone fly in through Bangkok um
[15:52] unless if you're coming in from like
[15:54] Dubai or something you know Delhi would
[15:56] probably make more sense and um yeah we
[15:58] jump on a pre-arrival group Zoom meeting
[16:01] to meet everybody and to organize
[16:03] Logistics a month before make sure you
[16:06] get your packing list right and all of
[16:07] that um also I've created a 10 module
[16:11] online Buddhism meditation course so
[16:13] when you sign up for the retreat you'll
[16:15] actually get access to um this this
[16:19] program that I've created where each
[16:21] module you learn the basics of Buddhism
[16:25] if you are new to Buddhism and if you're
[16:27] not new to Buddhism this will be a
[16:28] really nice refresh pressure uh the the
[16:30] modules are broken down into video
[16:33] lectures that are quite visual so
[16:35] they're really you can listen to them
[16:36] like a podcast and I've added some video
[16:38] IM imagery to help you with your
[16:40] learning um and they go over you know
[16:42] the main concepts of you know Karma the
[16:45] um uh the four noble truths and the
[16:48] eight-fold path um and then you get to
[16:51] reflect on certain uh themes that I've
[16:54] offered to you through contemplation
[16:57] which is a big key in in the Buddhist
[17:00] practice is contemplating and inquiring
[17:02] inquiring why we are thinking the way
[17:04] we're thinking uh we we look at the
[17:07] buddhis concept of of samsara or the
[17:09] wheel of suffering sometimes known as
[17:11] Wheel of Life what keeps us on this Rat
[17:14] Race and um and hamster wheel of of
[17:17] chasing our own tail you know making the
[17:19] same mistakes rinse and repeat rinse and
[17:21] repeat that make us suffer we learn
[17:23] about the three poisons of of greed of
[17:26] Anger of delusion of
[17:30] disillusionment and and really looking
[17:33] at what in our lives needs to change so
[17:35] that we can be free from suffering and
[17:38] this is really the the core of the
[17:41] Buddhist teachings what is the nature of
[17:43] our suffering how can we break free from
[17:45] it and move on this path towards Nirvana
[17:47] or
[17:48] Enlightenment and um there's 10
[17:50] different modules um we you know there's
[17:54] a meditation practice in every module uh
[17:57] this one here in my picture is is called
[18:00] meta which is poly for loving kindness
[18:04] and uh you know there's some chanting
[18:07] the three jewels the Buddha the Dharma
[18:08] the sanha um and then there's also a
[18:12] meditation on the formable truths
[18:14] there's a there's one for Padma sambava
[18:17] who is the second incarnation of of the
[18:19] Buddha and so there's various practices
[18:21] that involve chanting or visualization
[18:24] or guiding you into a breath or sematic
[18:26] awareness um that are what in my opinion
[18:30] the um the essence of the vadana
[18:34] Buddhist path and um and yeah towards
[18:37] the later half of the module you'll
[18:39] learn more about the vadana tantric path
[18:42] of Buddhism um in the beginning it's a
[18:44] little bit more Universal of all the
[18:46] three different traditions and so it's
[18:48] it's a nice precursor to jumping into
[18:53] bhan because then you get to understand
[18:56] the symbology of what you'll see in the
[18:58] temples you'll understand also the
[19:00] cosmology and the principal belief
[19:03] systems um before you enter so you're
[19:06] you're not kind of just entering a you
[19:08] know complete Buddhist country with no
[19:10] um anything uh and then also you will
[19:12] have done some inner work so when you
[19:15] land into a temple and you you sit down
[19:18] or we spontaneously have a group
[19:20] meditative experience you'll be able to
[19:22] drop in a little bit more uh easily and
[19:25] so yeah I I'm really happy with this 10
[19:28] module course um and so have the people
[19:31] who have been doing it and so this is
[19:33] part of the The Retreat it's like
[19:36] pre-retreat homework but it's kind of
[19:38] it's fun so it's don't think of it as
[19:40] like homework homework um okay so the
[19:43] cost so the cost for the retreat for
[19:45] Eight Days Seven Nights if you get a
[19:47] twin share it's $3600 all inclusive or
[19:51] if you wanted a private room it's $4,200
[19:53] dollars US um and I I only take 12
[19:57] people uh onto the trip because I I find
[19:59] I've had more before in the past um I
[20:02] just like 12 12 is a nice intimate
[20:05] number it's not too many it's not too
[20:07] little um you know it's enough uh people
[20:10] to create an energy in the field um if
[20:13] you are doing a twin share but you don't
[20:15] have someone to room with you know
[20:16] that's not a problem we can sort you out
[20:19] with that you just have to let us know
[20:20] what your preferences are in um in a
[20:23] roomie and uh and then of course you
[20:26] want a private room we can sort that out
[20:27] as well
[20:29] um and then to hold your spot you'll
[20:30] need to uh do a $500 US deposit um to
[20:35] hold your space uh and then also I'm
[20:38] offering an early bird special if you
[20:40] put your deposit in before November 1st
[20:43] um it's very from an organizational
[20:45] standpoint it is very um uh favorable
[20:49] for me as an organizer to know when
[20:51] people are committed because it allows
[20:53] me to book hotel rooms it allows me to
[20:56] organize transport and all these things
[20:58] in advance um so yeah uh and also just
[21:03] for Visa purposes air air airplanes as
[21:07] well because um you know it's really
[21:10] difficult to just rock up to Bhutan
[21:11] since there's only one flight per day
[21:13] and there's only one airline that goes
[21:16] into um Bhutan and that's the Royal
[21:18] bhutanese Airline called Dr air you
[21:20] can't enter any other way so once you
[21:22] enter into Bankok you have to get out of
[21:24] the airport and you have to take a whole
[21:25] different Airline um and if there are no
[21:28] more and that's a small airplane so if
[21:30] there's no more flights um because often
[21:32] that flight drops people off in
[21:34] Bangladesh and ducka before it goes off
[21:36] to Bhutan and so if that flight gets
[21:38] full you kind of can't come on the
[21:40] retreat because um there's there's no
[21:43] more space so it is crucial to get in
[21:45] early um and book your flights and I'll
[21:48] help you with all that um on a little
[21:50] Zoom meeting um so yeah my early bird
[21:53] special going back to that is if you put
[21:55] your deposit in before November 1st I
[21:58] will offer you 90-minute complimentary
[22:00] human design coaching session online
[22:02] that I'll record for you um if you're
[22:05] not familiar with human design it is an
[22:08] integration of quantum uh quantum
[22:11] physics with the cabala with the iching
[22:13] system which is the ancient Chinese book
[22:15] of of divination along with the the
[22:18] chakra system and uh going through the
[22:21] 64 Gates or the 64 hexagrams of the
[22:24] iching and how they interact with uh the
[22:28] energies with that flow through you and
[22:30] how you show up in the world it's
[22:32] basically your energetic blueprint um
[22:35] and it's a really helpful map to
[22:37] understand how you are to make decisions
[22:40] on a daily basis with more ease um it's
[22:43] almost like you know if you're equating
[22:46] driving through life in a car we don't
[22:49] want to be like always at the wheel it'd
[22:51] be nice to just be in the car driving
[22:53] through life and put it on Auto Drive or
[22:55] autopilot and enjoy the scenery and let
[22:58] the energy of the car take care of
[23:00] itself and
[23:02] so this is this is the essence of human
[23:04] design it's like how do we sit back and
[23:06] chill a little bit and not manhandle the
[23:09] car constantly and over control and and
[23:12] let life unfold for us instead of us
[23:15] having to make life happen and those of
[23:18] you who are familiar with human design
[23:20] and have already done a human design
[23:21] session with me I will do I can do uh
[23:24] another human design session to go
[23:26] deeper into your your chart or if you
[23:29] wanted to do like a composite chart
[23:31] matching you know your chart up with
[23:33] someone else maybe it's like a lover or
[23:35] something I don't know um or maybe it's
[23:37] a child or or something like that that
[23:39] you want to kind of see uh what
[23:41] synergies are there and and kind of what
[23:44] potential pitfalls could um come in your
[23:48] way with in how you behave around each
[23:51] other and and and kind of to set then
[23:54] boundaries that honor both of your
[23:56] charts so that's something that I'm
[23:58] willing to offer people if you sign up
[24:00] before November 1st um oh that's it okay
[24:03] so that is my entire presentation so
[24:06] thank you so much and I'm just going to
[24:07] jump here into the little chat here to
[24:09] see if you have any questions do I have
[24:12] to be good at yoga um you do not have to
[24:15] be good at yoga you don't have to be
[24:17] good at meditation to come on this
[24:18] Retreat you just have to have a
[24:19] willingness all my yoga classes are
[24:22] designed with the intention of moving
[24:25] energy right so that you are open and
[24:29] ready to
[24:31] receive abundant energy from from the
[24:34] universe from from Source or whatever
[24:35] you want to call it from the Buddhas um
[24:38] the whole point of yoga is to get you
[24:40] out of the head and more into the body
[24:42] because we're so stuck in the analytical
[24:45] thinking and that's the disease of the
[24:48] modern human now the meditation practice
[24:51] you know that's why I created that 10
[24:53] module course it will help you build
[24:55] your practice um prior to and you know
[24:59] you don't have to be perfect at anything
[25:01] you know the whole point of going on
[25:02] this Retreat is about self-discovery and
[25:04] we're all there to support each other
[25:06] and you'll actually find when you're in
[25:08] the group it's much easier to drop in
[25:10] than if you were to you know if I gave
[25:12] you homework to sit at home um and and
[25:15] and do your meditation on the couch
[25:16] right when you're in the group field
[25:18] with like-minded people especially in a
[25:20] sacred charged place like a temple it it
[25:24] it just drops in much easier um all
[25:28] right is Altitude going to be a problem
[25:31] for breathing okay that's a good
[25:33] question no so um bhutan's not actually
[25:37] that High um people think because it is
[25:39] it's not we're not like in the snow cap
[25:42] Peaks so all the cities are in The
[25:44] Valleys um about 2,6 uh 2,800 m h to
[25:50] like 1400 MERS which is you know 1400
[25:53] meters is quite low where we'll be in
[25:55] the Puna Valley um the ha Valley is
[25:58] somewhere between 2006 2008 uh so we're
[26:02] not that high to the point where you'll
[26:05] have uh difficulty breathing um no one's
[26:09] really experienced in the past uh the
[26:12] past groups any sort of difficulty in
[26:14] breathing unless I mean if you do have
[26:16] like um a respiratory ailment and a
[26:19] concern you know do reach out to me and
[26:20] let me know um so um but yeah no one's
[26:24] had an issue so far with altitude what's
[26:27] the best place to fly into oh I think
[26:28] answer that so um if you're coming in
[26:31] from Australia or even the US Bangkok is
[26:33] the best place to fly into so you might
[26:35] want to start looking at flights getting
[26:37] into Bangkok um and then I typically
[26:41] spend uh two nights in Bangkok before
[26:44] the retreat because the the flight that
[26:47] leads on that Thursday morning April
[26:49] 10th is at 5:00 a.m. and that means I
[26:52] need to be up at 2:30 and I need to get
[26:54] in a cab by 3: and then get to the
[26:56] airport by the very latest 3:30 which
[26:58] which is plenty of time an hour and a
[27:00] half before this flight takes off so um
[27:04] and that's me like cutting it close but
[27:06] it's it's actually fine because it's a
[27:08] very it's a very short um it's a very uh
[27:12] it's not a big flight there's not a lot
[27:13] of people on that flight so I find an
[27:15] hour and a half is just fine some people
[27:18] want to be at the airport at 3:00 a.m
[27:20] you know two hours before so I I
[27:23] definitely like to land in Bangkok just
[27:25] to settle my uh you know internal clock
[27:28] spend you know a whole day doing
[27:30] massages and enjoying myself um before I
[27:34] get on you know that very very early
[27:37] flight um when do I need to let you know
[27:42] by um well you know the earlier the
[27:44] better um of course there's that early
[27:46] birad special I told you about for
[27:48] November 1st um but as soon as you know
[27:52] you know let me know because then we can
[27:54] get these these flights booked and get
[27:57] get everything organized
[27:59] um so I think okay that's um there
[28:03] doesn't seem to be any more questions in
[28:05] the chat box well thank you so much for
[28:09] tuning in for this little presentation
[28:12] about Bhutan and um if you have any
[28:15] questions at all reach out I'm happy to
[28:16] jump on a call and uh thanks so much for
[28:18] tuning in I'll catch you later all right
[28:20] bye
