Where This Release Sits in Bloomurian's Arc

"Bass Ritual Kadela Remix" is a one-track single released March 27, 2026, and it works best as a chapter in a larger conversation rather than a standalone statement. Bloomurian is the electronic music and DJ project of Robin Liepman, known as Bloom, a producer, DJ and mentor who grew up in California and now lives in Colorado. The catalog is built mostly from singles and remixes, and this release belongs to the remix family that grew around the original "Bass Ritual," which came out two weeks earlier, on March 13, 2026. That family also includes the AguaMayyim Remix, the Light Language Recode and the five-track "Bass Ritual Remixes Vol 2" collection.

The Kadela credit matters. Remix and revibe work is central to how Bloom operates, and Kadela is one of several artists whose material he has reworked or who have reworked his. Hearing this single is hearing the project in its collaborative mode: a piece of ritual-minded bass music handed to another set of hands. Treat it as a sampler item, not a full album sequence.

Sonic Character

Bloomurian's palette combines Psy-Dub delays and reverb, World Bass low end, Trip-Hop drum patterns, Trap hits and Glitchy edits. That is the house vocabulary, and a remix like this is where those layers can be heard rearranged. Expect weight in the low frequencies, space around the sounds from dub-style echo, and the layered, collage-like quality that comes from reworking existing material.

I can't tell you from the available facts exactly which elements Kadela brought to this version, so I won't pretend to map the arrangement moment by moment. What the project's approach suggests is a piece that moves like a wave, not a steady pulse. Bloom's live instruments, electric guitar and shovel slide-guitar, are a signature of his sets, but whether they appear on this recording isn't documented, so listen for them rather than assume them.

The stated aim of the project is "face-melting, heart-opening, soul-awakening" sound. That is Bloom's own phrasing, so take it as intent. Expect something dense and physical rather than gentle.

The Track Worth Naming

This is a single, so there is one track: "Bass Ritual Kadela Remix." It is worth your attention for three reasons.

First, the title carries its framing. The word "ritual" points toward communal use, and the Bass Ritual remixes are the most ceremonial-sounding titles in the catalog.

Second, it shows the remix method at work. The project's identity is less a fixed sound than a running exchange between producers, and this single is a compact example.

Third, it's a practical way into the wider family. If the Kadela version lands, the original "Bass Ritual," the AguaMayyim Remix and the Remixes Vol 2 collection let you hear how the same source material changes across different hands.

Place in the Tradition

Bloomurian's public materials name no formal spiritual lineage, teacher or devotional tradition, so this isn't bhakti or kirtan music, and it's not ambient in the seated sense. It belongs to a movement-culture lineage: Ecstatic Dance and conscious dance communities, World Bass and Trip-Hop traditions, and Psy-Dub, which carries dub's studio experiments into psychedelic territory. Bloom calls the practice movement medicine, which echoes the older idea of music as a tool for shifting consciousness in communal ritual.

The wider network around the project includes Liquid Bloom, Shaman's Dream and Snow Raven, and shared bills with Dirtwire, Desert Dwellers, Rising Appalachia and Govinda place it beside world, roots and devotional acts. Purists of traditional world music may hear the blend as borrowing freely rather than faithfully representing any one culture.

Who It Lands Hardest For

This lands hardest for the ecstatic dance regular, the festival listener and anyone who wants music to move through the body rather than sit behind a task. It suits someone in a moment that calls for release: a stretch of restlessness, a need to shake off a heavy week, or a desire to feel something physical and shared.

It is not for everyone. Listeners wanting quiet seated meditation or a consistent ambient atmosphere will likely find it too physical and too changeable. Those sensitive to heavy bass may find it loud and dense. Fans of austere minimal techno or deep house may find the Trap, Glitch and Psy-Dub elements distracting from the groove.

How to Listen Closely

Give it a full, uninterrupted play with good headphones or a capable speaker system, since the low end and the dub-style space are most of the point. Evening suits it, and so does a cleared room where you can move. Play it once while standing still, attending to how the layers enter and recede, then again while dancing.

If you want a ritual frame, treat the title literally: set an intention, dim the lights, and let the track be the container. Because the dynamics can shift sharply, preview it before using it in a yoga class or ceremony. For the fuller picture, follow it with the original "Bass Ritual," then the rest of the remix family, and compare how each pair of hands reshapes the same ground.
