House of Deeprelax is a mental relaxation project built around a Dutch-language app. It describes the app as a daily portion of mental relaxation for people in the Netherlands and Belgium. The aim is to help people unwind, discharge stress and recover, wherever they are and whenever it suits them.
The library holds more than 100 sessions, programmes and audio guides. It includes Yoga Nidra, which the project presents as deep sleep and hypnosis-style meditation, and meditations that can be done lying down, sitting, or even while cooking. There is also breathwork, in what it calls Deeprelax Nidra Breath sessions, and walking meditations for contact with body and surroundings. Shake-it sessions use TRE-style shaking and dance to release tension. Short boost talks are made for listening while cycling, ironing or walking, and the app also offers self-hypnosis. Sessions run from about 3 minutes to 65 minutes, so they can fit a work break, an evening wind-down or a night of broken sleep.
The same approach runs through the House of Deeprelax YouTube channel. Its videos guide listeners step by step through meditation, breathing exercises and Yoga Nidra. They are meant for beginners and for people who already meditate, with practical tools for easing stress and supporting mental wellbeing, at the start or the close of the day.
