Raga & Tala, a Musical Journey to India, will offer solo and duet ("jugalbandi") style performances with sitar and sarod. This challenging and engaging form made farnous by such legendary artists as Ravi Shankar and All Akbar-Khan, is a favorite of followers of the Seni-Maihar Gharana tradition. Shree Anjan Saha, a preeminent sitarist on four from India, will be joined by noted American sarod player Richard Russell in this unique concert setting. They will be accompanied by Pandit Arup Chattopadhyay, one of the top tabla players in india and an absolute master of rhythmic intricacy, Don't miss this rare opportunity to hear and see this exciting and captivating musical experience
