Descrizione
Authentic leadership isn't learned from a podium—it emerges from the integration of who you are with how you lead. True North Leadership is a five-day intensive held within the serene redwood forest of 1440 Multiversity in Scotts Valley, California, designed for mid to senior-level leaders ready to examine the relationship between their personal narrative and professional authority. Grounded in Bill George's Harvard Business School curriculum on authentic leadership, this program invites accomplished professionals from corporate, nonprofit, government, healthcare, and public service sectors to step back from the demands of their roles and reconnect with the deeper values and experiences that shape their leadership.
Unlike conventional leadership seminars focused on strategies and frameworks, True North Leadership honors the whole person. The program weaves together reflective work, structured learning, outdoor immersion in the California redwoods, daily movement practices, and intimate small-group circles. This holistic approach creates the conditions for genuine self-examination—the kind that shifts not just how you think about leadership, but how you show up as a leader. Over five days, you'll move through moments of individual clarity and collective trust-building, supported by faculty from Harvard Business School, organizational development specialists, and accomplished practitioners who understand both the inner work and the outer demands of leading in complex organizations.
You'll leave with a personalized leadership development plan—something tangible and actionable to bring back to your organization. But more importantly, you'll leave with renewed clarity about your authentic leadership voice and a network of peers committed to conscious, values-aligned leadership.
What to Expect
The program balances inner work with outer engagement. Each day includes structured learning sessions grounded in Harvard Business School's authentic leadership curriculum, complemented by reflective practices that help you examine your life story and its relationship to your leadership choices. You'll participate in small-group circles designed to deepen trust and insight, engage in outdoor activities that ground you in the natural environment, and practice daily movement to support presence and integration. Faculty bring expertise in organizational development, leadership psychology, and executive practice. By the program's end, you'll have developed a personalized leadership development plan that bridges your inner clarity with your organizational context—a real tool for continued growth.
