Descrizione
Imagine a weekend where you can finally exhale—where your nervous system gets permission to slow down, your body feels genuinely safe, and you reconnect with an inner resilience you may have forgotten you possessed. Therapeutic Yoga for Resilience is a restorative retreat designed to support exactly that kind of profound settling and awakening. Held at the serene Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health in Stockbridge, MA, this weekend retreat (November 27–29, 2026) weaves together somatic practices, mindful movement, and reflective dialogue to help you understand—and transform—how stress lives in your body and mind.
Led by Pamela Stokes Eggleston, Director of the Kripalu School of Integrative Yoga Therapy, and faculty member Jen Stuart, this program is rooted in trauma-informed principles and nervous system science. Whether you're seeking personal healing, deepening your yoga practice, or grounding trauma-informed work as a clinician or helper, this retreat meets you where you are. All practices are invitational and accessible; no prior experience is required. What matters is your willingness to show up for yourself.
Over these three days in the Berkshires, you'll discover how embodied awareness—gentle movement, breathwork, and conscious rest—can support healing and integration. This is not a vigorous yoga retreat; it's a sanctuary for nervous system regulation, where you'll learn tools and practices you can carry home and weave into daily life.
What to Expect
Expect a rhythm of grounding movement, guided relaxation, and reflective dialogue. Each session invites you to explore the connection between body, mind, and resilience—learning how stress manifests physically and how embodied practice can shift your nervous system toward safety. You'll engage in therapeutic yoga postures (all offered as invitations, never demands), mindful breathwork, and extended relaxation practices. The retreat creates ample space for integration and rest; this is not a packed schedule but a spacious container for healing.
Pamela and Jen bring decades of experience in yoga therapy, somatic work, and trauma-informed teaching. The Kripalu setting—nestled in the Berkshire mountains, with its contemplative atmosphere and nourishing meals—amplifies the retreat's healing intention. You'll leave with practical stress-management tools, a deeper understanding of your nervous system, and a renewed sense of inner safety and presence.
