Descrizione

Imagine five days immersed in the subtle geography of your own energy body—learning to sense, balance, and awaken the seven chakras through breath, movement, and deep meditative practice. Breath, Chakras, and Meditation is a residential seminar that meets you exactly where yoga philosophy meets lived embodiment. Rather than treating chakra theory as abstract symbolism, this retreat grounds ancient wisdom in your nervous system, your breath, your direct experience. Led by Andrea Serena, a philosophy graduate and senior yoga instructor with decades of training in India, this seminar integrates existential inquiry with somatic technique—exploring how blocked or imbalanced prana (vital life force) manifests as both physical tension and emotional disharmony, and how conscious breath and meditation can restore the free flow of energy through your nadis (subtle channels).

Set in the serene Tuscan landscape of Istituto Lama Tzong Khapa, you'll spend five days in focused study and practice, held by a contemplative community and supported by the monastery's peaceful atmosphere. This is not a superficial survey of chakra names; it's an invitation to map your inner world with precision and care, moving through each of the seven primary energy centers with both intellectual understanding and somatic awakening. Whether you're deepening an existing yoga practice or beginning to explore the psychosomatic dimensions of breathwork and meditation, this retreat offers practical tools that integrate seamlessly into your life beyond these five days.

What to Expect

Each day weaves together contemplative study, breath awareness training, body consciousness work, and meditation techniques tailored to each chakra. You'll examine existential and wisdom themes—what each energy center represents emotionally and spiritually—while practicing pranayama (breath techniques) and asana (postures) designed to activate, balance, and integrate chakra energy. The teaching draws on both classical yoga philosophy and contemporary somatic understanding, meeting the whole person: body, mind, and subtle energy system.

Andrea Serena guides with the clarity of a scholar and the heart of a seasoned practitioner. The retreat moves sequentially through the chakras, building understanding and embodied awareness as you progress. Expect introspection, direct experience, and a cohort of sincere seekers committed to their inner work.
