Reiki Certification Training: Levels I, II, and Master

This Reiki certification training in Salida, Colorado, is a three-part course in Japanese Reiki, moving from self-healing through practising with others to teaching. It is open to complete beginners as well as people who want professional certification, spiritual development or the path to becoming a Reiki Master/Teacher. The in-person levels are held at Yoga Olas in Salida, and the Master/Teacher level is offered online.

The organizer frames the work with words from Eric Micha'el Leventhal: a healer's power comes not from any special ability, but from having the courage and awareness to embody the universal healing power every human being naturally possesses.

What to Expect

Each level is interactive, with time for hands-on practice, guided exercises, discussion and reflection. The aim is a balance of practical skills and spiritual understanding, in a supportive setting where you can learn, experience and embody Reiki.

Level I: foundations of self-healing. This level centers on personal practice. You learn to work with Reiki energy for stress reduction, pain relief, emotional balance and general well-being, and begin your relationship with Reiki as a healing and spiritual practice.

Level II: expanding your practice. You deepen your attunement and are introduced to Reiki symbols used to enhance treatments, balance energy and offer distance Reiki. The level also covers giving full Reiki sessions for others, with practical guidance on working with clients and on the foundations of a Reiki practice or business.

Master/Teacher training: embodying and teaching Reiki. For those who feel called to fully embody Reiki and share it, this level further expands your attunement, introduces the Master symbol, and provides the tools and support to attune and teach students. The emphasis is on integrity, presence, and teaching from lived experience rather than hierarchy.

The Setting

Levels I and II take place at Yoga Olas in Salida, a town in Colorado. The next Master/Teacher cohort is held online, so that level can be joined from wherever you live. It began in October 2026, and Master dates for the following year are still to come.

Before You Go

No prior experience is needed for Level I, only an open heart and curiosity. Level II and the Master/Teacher training build on the attunement and practice of the level before. The training is taught in English.

If you are unsure whether Reiki training is right for you, you can arrange a call with the teacher beforehand. One-to-one and small group trainings are also available on request.
