Venus Jones

Venus Jones describes herself as an award-winning producer, spoken word artivist and communication coach. She has worked for over 20 years as a producer, spoken word poet, actress and educator. Her motto is waging peace through poetry.

She is the founder and author of SHE ROSE and the host of Dialogue Matters. Her work aims to remind people of their common humanity, and at times it challenges the status quo. She believes the fastest way to increase inner peace is to practice self-awareness through the healing arts. She credits divine grace, journaling and courageous conversations with enriching her life.

As a coach, she helps people build trust and become more poetic and powerful under pressure. Her She Rose: From Page to Stage course is a virtual masterclass for poets and writers who have a story to tell and want to learn how to deliver it to an audience. She is also behind Lil Red Alerts, an emerging safety series of poetic narratives that invites more open conversation about trust.
