Caroline Myss

Caroline Myss is a five-time New York Times bestselling author and internationally renowned speaker in the fields of human consciousness, spirituality and mysticism, health, energy medicine, and the science of medical intuition. She describes her work as spanning healing, archetypes and the nature of mystical experience.

After completing her Master's degree, she co-founded Stillpoint Publishing and headed its editorial department, producing an average of ten books a year in human consciousness and holistic health. During those years she refined her skills as a medical intuitive with the assistance of C. Norman Shealy, M.D., Ph.D., a Harvard-trained neurosurgeon. Together they wrote The Creation of Health. Her 1996 book Anatomy of the Spirit has been published in 28 languages and has sold over 1.5 million copies. In exploring why people sabotage their healing, she identified the pattern she calls "woundology."

Her later work turned to symbols, myths and archetypes. Sacred Contracts profiles twelve archetypal patterns that reflect, in mythic language, the agreements the soul made prior to birth. Invisible Acts of Power (2004) and Entering the Castle (2007) followed, then Defy Gravity (2009), on grace and the healing that transcends reason. In 2020 she released Intimate Conversations with the Divine, a book on prayer that includes 100 of her personal prayers.

In 2003 she established her own educational institute, CMED (Caroline Myss Education), which offers programs in personal development to students from all over the world. She has also produced more than one hundred audio and visual products on healing, spirituality, personal development and the study of archetypes. Her teaching today includes a weekly look at a different archetype, online courses and mentoring through CMED. She is no longer available for personal readings or consultations.
