Descrizione

Rise & Radiate is a week-long Kundalini yoga and sound bath retreat at Xinalani Retreat, an eco retreat in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco, Mexico. It is for anyone who wants a week of slowing down, letting go, and clearing away the obstacles that stand in the way of a full and meaningful life, with daily Kundalini practice and evening sound healing shaping the days. It is led by Meg Long, also known as Kavalya Shanti Kaur.

What to Expect

The week is built around raising Kundalini energy and radiating your true self. Each day includes Kundalini yoga in the morning and a sound bath in the evening, with hikes, pool time, and rest in between.

A typical day runs like this:

- 7:00 am to 7:30 am: morning coffee and snacks
- 8:00 am to 9:30 am: morning yoga
- 10:00 am to 11:00 am: breakfast
- 11:15 am to 2:00 pm: two optional hikes
- 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm: lunch
- 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm: evening sound bath
- 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm: dinner

The hikes are optional, and there is plenty of unscheduled time. You can spend it in the pools, in the dry sauna, on the white sandy beach, or simply resting. Everyone is encouraged to practice slowing down and finding contentment in the natural beauty of the retreat center.

About Meg Long

Meg Long, known as Kavalya Shanti Kaur, began practicing yoga in 2003 while serving as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Kenya, East Africa. Working with high-risk populations in stressful environments, she found that the meditative side of yoga helped her maintain her mental well-being. Throughout her career in public health, yoga has remained a foundation for staying motivated, focused, and healthy. She also discovered that the meditative and sound aspects of yoga support emotional and physical healing.

Meg began teaching yoga in 2011. She holds E-RYT 200, RYT 500, and Level 2 Kundalini certifications, and her teaching includes Kundalini, Yin, sound baths, mindfulness, and hot yoga.
