Drumantra & Self Love Through Singing & Rhythm with Paloma Devi & Jahidi
Beloved Yoga Sanctuary, Sunset Hills Road, Reston, VA, USA
About
Join Jahidi & Paloma Devi in this interactive and multi-faceted workshop exploring aligned self-expression through Embodied Movement and Vocal Liberating techniques. We will explore the rhythmic time cycles of classical Indian music, and how they correlate to particular Sanskrit mantras. We’ll also be using body percussion and how it can amplify the power of mantras and affirmations. We will synchronize our rhythms and chants, so we may embody more powerful blessings for ourselves and each other
We will also experience sound as medicine as we dive into a profound sound healing journey. Using alchemy crystal bowls, sacred instruments and sound healing tools, we’ll dissolve into the creative space and re-emerge into sacred song as a collective voice. Come and join us in this powerful container of transformation.
