THE INVITATION
In the quiet days between Christmas and New Year, when the world pauses and the sun stands still, we invite you to cross a threshold.
This is not a performance. This is not a workshop. This is a three-hour ceremonial journey into the heart of winter’s wisdom - a passage through sound, stillness, and the power of your own embodied presence.
We gather in the space between - between the exhale of one year and the inhale of the next. Between the noise of celebration and the clarity of renewal. Between who we’ve been and who we’re becoming.
Through movement, breath, and voice, we’ll journey together from expression to stillness to emergence. Leaving behind what no longer serves. Finding the underground river of essence that flows beneath all doing. And returning renewed, carrying that stillness back into sound and life.
“At this quiet, dark time of year, we naturally turn inward. It can feel lonely, low energy, isolating. But stillness is not stagnation. Solitude is not aloneness. Within this dark inner space, we find our power, our clarity, our essence. We discover our connection and oneness with everything. And we emerge renewed.”
WHAT TO EXPECT
• Three hours of guided ceremonial space with room for emergence and co-creation
• Live soundscapes created by accomplished pianist and sound engineer Kieran Coulter, blending piano, dulcimer, electronic textures, and curated music
• Vocal guidance and harmonium from Siri Amrit, trained in Northern Indian classical music and somatic sound work
• Movement-based practices to build embodied safety and presence
• Trauma-informed holding - you’re invited to go as deep as feels right for you
• No singing experience required - all voices, all expressions welcome
• Bring: Comfortable clothes for movement, water, journal if desired, yoga mat, blanket, anything for your comfort during rest phases
This is an emergent ceremony - the exact flow will respond to what’s alive in the room. Come ready to feel, to sound, to rest, and to be witnessed.
WHO THIS IS FOR
This ceremony is for you if:
• You’re feeling the weight of the year and ready to set it down
• You crave depth and stillness in a season of noise
• You want to reconnect with your voice as authentic expression
• You’re curious about the power of sound as nervous system medicine
• You’re navigating the space between - endings and beginnings, grief and joy
• You want community that honors both connection and solitude
• You’re ready to cross a threshold
No experience with sound work or meditation is required. Just bring your willingness to be present with what is.
ABOUT THE FACILITATORS
SIRI AMRIT KHALSA is a father, entrepreneur, and facilitator trained in Northern Indian classical music (Hindustani raga) and Kundalini yoga. After years teaching meditation and conscious movement, his path evolved through somatic healing, 5 Rhythms dance, and men’s work - reclaiming voice not as perfection, but as authentic aliveness. He creates trauma-informed spaces where sound becomes medicine for the nervous system and expression becomes homecoming.
KIERAN COULTER is an Irish-Canadian pianist, multi-instrumentalist, sound engineer, and sonic architect. Classically trained and creatively unleashed, he weaves piano, dulcimer, and electronic soundscapes into immersive experiences that hold space for deep inner work. His gift is creating musical landscapes that support embodied journeys without dominating them - the perfect container for emergence.
