In this weekend training, you will be introduced to the essential principles of Mother Goddess Yoga, a system of practice born from decades of study, devotion, and lived experience. Together we will explore the fundamental poses, symbols, alignments, gestures, breath work and devotional frameworks that form the living heart of this path.
Through embodied practice, storytelling, mantra, and inner ritual, you will be invited to root yourself in the understanding that your physical form is not a barrier to spirituality but the very gateway to it.
We will attune to:
• Mother Earth — Bhumi Devi, who holds and sustains us through the physical body.
• Annapurna Devi, who nourishes us with abundance, food, and love.
• Parvati Devi, the Mother of Yoga, who empowers, shelters, and lifts us as we walk our path of spiritual evolution.
This introductory training is designed to give you the solid ground, clear structure, and heart-centered inspiration needed to grow within the Mother Goddess Yoga lineage. Under Her shelter, we cultivate presence, strength, creativity, and devotion—qualities essential for our personal and collective evolution.

What is Mother Goddess Yoga?
Mother Goddess Yoga is an artful, powerful, and deeply meaningful approach to yoga rooted in some of the most ancient spiritual traditions on Earth: Goddess worship.
While Mother Goddess lineages exist in every culture, this practice draws from the richness of the Indian legacy—honoring Shaktism, devotional texts to the Divine Mother, the embodied Bhakti sadhana of Odissi dance, and the empowering formulas of Hatha Yoga that awaken Shakti within the body.
The practice is both simple and profound, infused with sacred symbolism, inspiring poetry, nature’s imagery, and an acknowledgment of the power of subtle spiritual energies.
Physically, it honors all body types and all genders, offering a practice that is grounding and balancing, both strengthening and opening, sculptural in form, devotional in detail, and rococo-like in its alignment.
Most importantly, Mother Goddess Yoga invites you into a living relationship with the Divine Feminine Power (Shakti) and the Great Goddess (Devi), offering a path of devotion where you may rest under Her guardianship, learn a philosophical language that is exclusively matrilineal, and cultivate your own intimate connection with Her many forms—supporting your evolution as both a human and spiritual being in this precious lifetime.
