Malte Marten Live at Stage Apollo Theater, Stuttgart

Malte Marten brings his Healing Frequencies Tour to Stuttgart for an evening of live handpan music at the Stage Apollo Theater. It is a handpan concert in the spirit of a sound healing gathering, made for anyone who listens to this music to fall asleep, to meditate or to unwind, and wants to hear it together in one room. Malte plays with his trio, and the whole evening is shaped to help you slow down and settle.

What to Expect

The handpan sits at the centre. Malte Marten leads on the instrument, joined by Conrado Molina on percussion and voice and by Bummela, a multi-instrumentalist and producer. Together they create a rich, spacious sound that feels intimate even in a large theater.

The show is shaped from beginning to end as one flowing experience rather than a list of songs. The music, the silence between pieces and the stories Malte shares all belong to it. The concert runs about two hours. Most shows on the tour start at 8 pm, and doors usually open 75 minutes earlier, though the exact times are shown on your ticket. The intention is simple: no pressure, no rush, nowhere else to be, just music, presence and room to breathe.

About Malte Marten

Malte Marten is a handpan artist, composer and teacher whose music has reached millions of listeners around the world. His path began in 2014, when he saw a video of the duo Hang Massive. He sold all the equipment he owned as a beatmaker and DJ to buy his first handpan, and he later played on the streets of Berlin.

From 2015 to 2020 he toured with his former duo, Yatao. Teaching became a passion alongside performing, and the duo gave workshops and retreats and co-founded the YataoShop, a place for people to take their first steps with the instrument. In 2021 the duo's project ended and Malte began his solo work, funding his first solo studio album through crowdfunding. His videos on Instagram and YouTube have since found listeners worldwide. His work rests on one idea: music can create space to slow down, breathe and reconnect with yourself.

The Musicians

Conrado Molina plays percussion and adds his voice. Bummela is a multi-instrumentalist and producer. Alongside Malte's handpan they form the trio that carries the evening.

Before You Go

The Stage Apollo Theater is a seated venue, so you can settle in and simply listen. Child tickets are available for ages 12 and up. Wheelchair spaces can be arranged directly with the organizers.

If you are new to the handpan, it is a steel instrument played with the hands. Its warm sound is rich in overtones, a little like bells. No experience is needed to enjoy the evening.
