About Trevor Hall

Trevor Hall recorded his first album at sixteen, growing up on the coast of South Carolina. He then moved to Idyllwild Arts Academy in California, where he studied classical guitar seriously and encountered the spiritual traditions of India. That meeting of formal musicianship and devotional practice runs through all of his work, and it sets him apart in the folk-reggae space, where spirituality often stays decorative.

His music sits at the intersection of roots reggae, folk and kirtan, with electronic textures woven in. The themes are interior: love, impermanence, connection, and the texture of a spiritual life actually being lived.
