説明
This eight-day healing retreat in Ubud, Bali, is led by Kristen Firpo and built around Nyepi, Bali's Day of Silence. It combines Ayurvedic treatments, sound healing and private coaching at COMO Shambhala Estate. It is written for people who are burnt out, have tried spa days and short resets without lasting change, and want deeper, more personal support, including guidance after they return home.
What to Expect
The week is organized around Nyepi, when the whole island comes to a standstill: no planes, no cars, no distractions. Kristen chose this timing so that participants can experience what happens when the noise stops and they can hear their own voice again. Past participants describe the retreat as first clearing away the noise, then getting clear on which direction they actually want to take, and leaving with tools to return to that clarity.
Each day includes Ayurvedic treatments and sound healing, alongside private coaching sessions. Care is tailored: meals, movement practices and therapies are designed around each person's needs. The program also includes traditional Balinese water blessings, ceremonies and guided cultural experiences. There is room for the group to connect, with a welcome dinner and shared evening dinners, and room for solitude. Days can start with a walk, a swim or meditation, and many evenings can end with a sound healing session. Former guests mention the sound therapy as quieting and restorative.
The coaching does not end when the retreat does. Kristen continues with individual coaching for a year afterward, so that the intentions set in Bali carry into daily life.
About Kristen Firpo
Kristen Firpo designed this retreat and guides it herself, combining Eastern wisdom, Ayurvedic healing and coaching. She is also a sound healer. Participants speak of her listening, her gentle guidance and her ability to hold a safe space where each person chooses how to show up.
The Setting
COMO Shambhala Estate sits in the Balinese rainforest near Ubud, on a private, forested property of about twenty acres. Guests stay in private villas. The grounds have walking paths, an infinity pool overlooking the trees, a river running beneath the property and a nearby waterfall. Breakfast is made to order, with fresh fruit and juice, and meals are customized to individual dietary needs.
Before You Go
No particular level of experience is required. The retreat suits people seeking structured, personal support rather than a conventional getaway, and it is not meant for those looking for just another vacation. The retreat is held in English.
Included are daily Ayurvedic treatments, sound healing sessions, private coaching during the retreat, custom-designed meals, the Balinese water blessing and guided cultural experiences, and a year of individual coaching afterward. Past guests, including first-time visitors and solo travelers, mention that Kristen sends thorough guidance on weather, clothing, currency, language and local culture ahead of the trip.
