説明
A four-day Yagé (Ayahuasca) retreat timed with the Full Moon in Leo, held at Jungle Harmony in Villagarzón, in the Putumayo region of Colombia. It is a small, structured immersion in the Amazonian tradition for people who want ceremony, guidance and integration support in one stay. Both ceremonies are led by indigenous shamans, with trained facilitators supporting them.
What to Expect
The retreat runs four days and three nights, beginning mid-morning on the first day and ending the morning of the fourth. The structure is simple and unhurried, with the two Yagé ceremonies at its center.
The first day is for arriving. After lunch there is an orientation talk, a greeting of the Maloka (the ceremonial house), and a ritual with Grandfather Tobacco, followed by dinner and rest.
The second day opens with an intention circle, then a Yagé day ceremony, dinner and a bonfire. The third day begins with a one-to-one integration session with a dedicated supporter, followed by the second Yagé day ceremony, dinner, and a bonfire with a sharing circle. On the final morning there is breakfast, individual goodbyes and the airport drop-off.
Around the ceremonies, the retreat offers the Mambe and Ambil talking circle, a traditional practice of communal wisdom and guidance. There are walking jungle meditations and guided excursions to the river and into the forest, as well as daily group sharing circles. Integration tools are given to take home when you leave.
The Setting
Jungle Harmony sits in the Amazonian foothills near Villagarzón, Putumayo. Accommodation is comfortable, with hot showers and regular bathrooms, and you can choose a shared or a private cabin. Wi-Fi is available.
Meals are fresh, homemade and dieta-friendly, with snacks and juices, three times a day. Transportation to and from Villagarzón airport is free of charge.
Before You Go
The retreat includes two Yagé ceremonies, the co-facilitation of Indigenous Elders and shamans with trained facilitators, one private integration session, daily sharing circles, the Mambe and Ambil circle, guided excursions, meals, lodging, airport transfers and Wi-Fi. Payment plans of up to six installments are available, and an extended stay can be arranged.
Because the meals follow dieta guidelines, it is worth reading the preparation advice that comes with your booking and arriving ready to eat simply. Bring clothes suited to the jungle climate and to walking and river outings.
