Mother, Child, and the DNAThat Never Lets Go

Researchers made an astounding discovery just a few years ago: every time a woman conceives a new life in her womb—even if the pregnancy doesn't go full term—something permanent happens. The embryo's blood circulates through the mother's body while the mother's blood circulates through the fetus. That infant's DNA doesn't just pass through. It lodges, primarily in the liver, and stays there. A mother will carry the DNA of every child she has ever conceived in her own body for life.

Why a Mother Knows

This isn't metaphor. The discovery reframes what science has long struggled to explain: the uncanny intuition of motherhood. Gregg Braden presents DNA as a fractal antenna—a structure capable of communicating with multiple simultaneous signals. The DNA a mother carries in her liver, the biological material of her child, is in constant living communication with the child's DNA, wherever that child happens to be in the world. This is why a mother can sense when her grown son, stationed on a battlefield halfway across the earth, is in trouble. It's an advanced, sophisticated technology of communication written into the body itself.

This cellular conversation remains a two-way transmission as long as both mother and child live on this earth. The connection runs so deep that intuition operates across any distance—not through phone, not through thought alone, but through the biological radio of DNA itself.

The Grief We Cannot Prepare For

Understanding this mechanism illuminates one of life's deepest mysteries: why the loss of a mother or child cuts so catastrophically deep. Braden speaks candidly about losing his own mother, noting that while his rational mind knew it was coming, no amount of intellectual preparation readied him for the impact. "It's not something you get good at, because you don't get much practice." Grief counseling proved useful, but the question remained: why does this hurt so much?

Now there is a scientific answer. The DNA in the mother is in two-way communication with the DNA in the child. When that channel ruptures—when one of those bodies dies—you're not losing a person. You're losing an active, biological conversation your cells have been conducting for years or decades. The intuitive bond mothers describe, the ache that doesn't diminish with time, the sense of presence that lingers—these align with what the body knows to be true at the cellular level.

What This Means for Divinity

Braden moves beyond the cellular discovery to its philosophical implications. This two-way communication across distance—unbound by the physics that should limit it—represents something that cannot be explained by conventional science. It's what Braden calls "the very definition of divinity: the ability to transcend perceived limits." If you're not bound by the laws of physics, you are transcending perceived limits. That's your divinity.

The power resides not in external tools or technology but in the biology itself. This is why, Braden argues, there is a "concerted effort" to replace biology with technology: because your power comes from your body, from the field of information that operates through it. When people lose access to their divinity—when they feel disconnected from this biological wisdom—they become more vulnerable to external ideas and agendas. Fear replaces the empowerment that comes from knowing you are never truly alone.

"We're celebrating our humanness by embracing the truth of what it means to us," Braden says. Memory, information, and divinity all live in the field. When you understand this, you understand that objective answers are always available to you, accessed through what many call the higher self.

Why Ask Your Heart, Not Your Brain

This is where Braden offers a practical tool. The brain is a polarity organ—left and right hemispheres working in constant tension. Logic versus emotion. Right versus wrong. Success versus failure. Worthy versus unworthy. When you pose a difficult question to your brain, it will trap you in what Braden calls "ego loops," bouncing you back and forth between these poles until you're paralyzed. Should you stay in the relationship or go? The brain will drive you crazy because it can always construct a compelling argument for each position.

The heart, by contrast, is not a polarity organ. It doesn't operate in a system of opposites. It's also extraordinarily fast—"nine times out of 10, the question's answered before you finish asking" because the asking itself formalizes a question that's already present. The heart is a processor so rapid and so direct that it cuts through the noise the brain generates.

Braden emphasizes that accessing this isn't mystical—it's biological. The heart has its own neural network, one that's tuned to the field where all knowledge and wisdom exist. When you learn to ask your heart in coherence, you're accessing an objective source of information that won't judge you or another person. It won't give you opinions. It gives you what Braden calls "true and right" answers—not right for someone else, but right for your specific life, your specific circumstances.

How to Direct the Question

The practice is simple but requires precision. Begin with the words "my heart." This matters. If you throw a question into the universe without direction, Braden warns, "there's a lot of energy out there that would love to work through you to give you that answer, and you don't know what that energy is." Naming your heart removes ambiguity. You're directing your question to the neural network in the heart that's tuned to the field.

Then be brief. Ask in a single sentence. Your heart probably knows your history; you don't need to provide context or preamble. Your heart "doesn't need you to say, well, when I was 5 years old, and I had this experience"—it knows. Be direct and concise. Be personal; your heart cannot answer for another person because there are too many variables in another's experience. And most importantly: trust what comes back.

This last part is the hardest. If you're not conditioned to hear from your heart, you will doubt. That doubt is the friction Braden asks you to work through. But he offers an incentive: in the next five years, you will be saturated with conflicting information from social media, friends, authorities. "Everybody you ask is going to give you a different answer. Or there will be no one to ask." When that moment arrives—and Braden suggests it's coming—you will want to know that you can access information that is true and right for you, regardless of what's happening in the external world. That's the point of developing this capacity now, while you still have time to build trust in it.

The Safest Answer

Braden circles back to why this matters more than chemical intervention or external advice. Coherence—asking your heart and trusting the answer—is safer than a chemical solution because it's drawing from your own biology, your own wisdom, your own connection to the field. You're not introducing a foreign substance. You're not relying on someone else's interpretation of your situation. You're accessing the objective knowledge that's always been available to you.

The biology of unbreakable love between mother and child is not sentimental. It's cellular. It's a two-way radio that operates beyond the speed of thought, beyond distance, beyond even death. And if that's true for the mother-child bond—if we can verify through science that such a deep, wordless communication exists—then perhaps we can trust that we have access to similar communication with ourselves, with the part of us that knows.

Where to go from here

Start small. Ask your heart one question this week—something that matters to you but isn't a life-altering decision. Notice the difference between the chatter of your brain (the back-and-forth, the pro-and-con lists, the anxiety) and the clarity of your heart. Trust takes practice, but Braden suggests the payoff is knowing, truly, that you are never alone. The DNA you carry, the field you're part of, the neural network in your heart—all of it is already in conversation with what you need to know. Your job is to listen and believe.

[0:00] Researchers, just a few years ago, made

[0:03] an

[0:04] just an astounding discovery.

[0:07] And what they found is, ladies,

[0:10] every time you conceive a new life in

[0:14] your body, in your womb,

[0:17] even if it doesn't go full term,

[0:19] the act of conceiving a new life in your

[0:23] body, that embryo, that fetus,

[0:27] the blood from that baby is circulating

[0:31] through your body.

[0:33] You know that. And your blood is

[0:35] circulating through the body of that

[0:37] fetus. Well, here's what scientists

[0:39] discovered

[0:40] is that your infant's DNA is in that

[0:44] blood.

[0:46] And it will lodge in certain organs of

[0:49] your body, primarily in the liver.

[0:52] So, you will carry the DNA of every

[0:57] child that you've ever conceived in the

[0:59] liver of your body.

[1:01] All right? We already saw earlier

[1:04] that the DNA is a fractal antenna.

[1:07] That means it's it's communicating with

[1:10] many simultaneous signals.

[1:12] This is why a mother has such a deep

[1:15] intuitive connection with her offspring,

[1:18] with her child, because the DNA in her

[1:21] liver, that is her baby, is

[1:23] communicating, living, communicating

[1:26] with the DNA

[1:28] of that child, wherever they are in the

[1:31] world. This is also why it hurts so

[1:34] much. It hurts

[1:37] when a mother loses a child. It hurts

[1:40] when a child loses the mother.

[1:42] It hurts when an adult

[1:44] loses a mother.

[1:46] And I'll tell you, when I I lost my mom,

[1:48] I wasn't ready for it. My man brain knew

[1:51] it was going to happen, but there's a

[1:52] part of me that was not emotionally

[1:54] prepared. It's not something you get

[1:56] good at, because you don't get much

[1:58] practice.

[2:00] And I was surprised at how much it

[2:02] impacted me. I had grief counseling was

[2:05] very useful in helping me with that.

[2:07] But the mystery is, why does this

[2:09] happen? Now we know there's a scientific

[2:10] reason. The DNA in the mother is in

[2:13] communication with the DNA in the child.

[2:15] It's a two-way communication. As long as

[2:18] one of us is on this earth,

[2:20] we're we're connected so deeply that the

[2:23] intuition a mother can tell when her

[2:25] child's in trouble, even if he's a grown

[2:28] man in a battlefield halfway across the

[2:30] earth.

[2:31] That is an advanced, sophisticated

[2:34] technology of communication.

[2:36] And we work that way.

[2:38] I didn't know I was going to talk talk

[2:39] about that. I don't have the slides, but

[2:41] I I think it's interesting

[2:43] that that we that we have that. So,

[2:45] beyond the limits of physics, there's a

[2:47] part of us that's not bound by the laws

[2:50] of physics. All right?

[2:53] And that is the very definition of

[2:54] divinity. It's right there on the

[2:55] screen. The ability to transcend

[2:57] perceived limits. If you're not bound by

[2:59] the laws of physics, you are

[3:00] transcending perceived limits. That's

[3:03] your divinity. That's how powerful you

[3:05] are. That's why there's an an effort,

[3:08] concerted effort, to replace your

[3:09] biology with technology, because that's

[3:12] where your power comes from. You are

[3:14] much more vulnerable

[3:17] to the ideas and the agendas of other

[3:19] people if you don't have access to your

[3:21] divinity. You're more vulnerable to

[3:24] those ideas, because you feel powerless

[3:27] and you live in that fear.

[3:29] All right? So, what we're doing is we're

[3:30] celebrating our humanness,

[3:33] celebrating our humanness by embracing

[3:35] the truth of what it means to us. We

[3:37] said that the memory and the information

[3:40] and your divinity lives in the field.

[3:42] All right?

[3:44] So, I want you to know

[3:47] that you're never alone

[3:49] when it comes to information.

[3:52] If something happens to you

[3:55] someday

[3:57] and you find yourself in a place where

[3:59] there's nobody to ask, there's no Google

[4:02] to to answer, there's no phone that's

[4:04] working, whatever,

[4:07] and you have to make choices and you

[4:09] have to make decisions, I want you to

[4:11] know you're never alone. And I want you

[4:13] to know why, because objective answers

[4:16] are in that field. That field has all of

[4:19] the knowledge, all the wisdom.

[4:21] You would call it your higher self. Many

[4:23] people call it in the spiritual

[4:24] community call it your higher self. This

[4:26] is intentionally accessing through the

[4:28] heart the higher self, objective

[4:31] answers.

[4:32] So, why not the brain? Why would you not

[4:34] use the brain? Well, think about this.

[4:36] Think about it with the brain.

[4:49] You know the brain is a polarity organ.

[4:51] You got a left brain and the right

[4:52] brain. Your left brain is dealing,

[4:54] you know, with logic and math and shapes

[4:56] and numbers. And your right brain is

[4:58] dealing with colors and emotions and

[5:01] feelings.

[5:02] And it's all good. It works together.

[5:03] But here's the thing.

[5:05] If you try to solve a problem

[5:08] and you ask your brain to solve the

[5:11] problem,

[5:12] like a relationship,

[5:14] all right? If you're in a relationship

[5:16] and you're on the fence, should I stay

[5:17] or should I go? You know, there's a

[5:19] song.

[5:20] Should I stay or should I go? Yeah, you

[5:23] know that. See, I know some of you know

[5:24] that song.

[5:26] If you ask your brain that question,

[5:28] your brain will make you crazy, because

[5:31] it will bounce you back and forth

[5:33] through the left and the right brain.

[5:35] They're called the ego loops, because

[5:37] that's what the brain does. It's a

[5:38] polarity organ. So, your brain will

[5:40] always have a good and a bad. Your

[5:42] brain's always going to have a right and

[5:44] a wrong. Your brain's always going to

[5:45] have success and failure, and worthy of

[5:47] not worthy, and sick and healed. That's

[5:50] the brain in polarity.

[5:53] And we need this sometimes, and it's

[5:54] good.

[5:55] But when you're asking if you want

[5:57] objective questions answered and you're

[5:59] asking yourself, you want to ask your

[6:02] heart in coherence. And we're going to

[6:05] do this together.

[6:06] Ask your heart in coherence.

[6:08] Why? Because your heart is not a

[6:11] polarity organ.

[6:13] All right? In your heart, you're not

[6:15] going to have a left heart and a right

[6:17] heart. A good and a bad, and a right and

[6:19] a wrong.

[6:21] The heart is really fast. When you ask

[6:24] your heart the question,

[6:26] nine times out of 10,

[6:28] the question's answered before you

[6:31] finish asking.

[6:33] Because the asking is the formalization

[6:36] of a question that's already there. So,

[6:38] it's a really fast processor.

[6:40] So, in the little time that we have

[6:42] together, what I'd like to do, I just

[6:45] I want to go through the process so that

[6:47] you have it, and then I'm going to

[6:48] invite you to practice.

[6:50] And I think the the most important thing

[6:52] is the trust, being able to trust the

[6:55] information that comes

[6:57] from your heart. If you're not

[6:59] familiar and if you're not conditioned,

[7:01] you will doubt. And I I want you to have

[7:04] this tool, because in the next 5 years,

[7:06] between now and the year 2030,

[7:09] you're going to see information given to

[7:11] you in social media. You're going to

[7:13] hear it from friends. You're going to

[7:15] see it come down from higher places. And

[7:17] you're going to say, is this real? Is

[7:18] this true? What should I do?

[7:22] And everybody you ask is going to give

[7:24] you a different answer.

[7:25] Or there will be no one to ask, because

[7:27] for whatever reason, that technology

[7:30] won't be there.

[7:31] And I want you to feel empowered. I want

[7:33] you to know

[7:34] that you are never alone. You always

[7:36] have the information that's true and

[7:38] right for you. And you always have. The

[7:40] key is to develop it and trust it. Are

[7:43] you with me on that? Can we do that?

[7:46] All right. So, in coherence, here's what

[7:48] we're going to do.

[7:49] Uh I'm going to invite you to ask your

[7:51] heart a question.

[7:53] How do you do that?

[7:55] I'm going to invite you to begin with

[7:57] the words my heart.

[8:00] And here's the reason.

[8:02] If you just throw a question out into

[8:04] the universe,

[8:05] there's a lot of energy out there that

[8:08] would love

[8:10] to work through you to give you that

[8:12] answer, and you don't know what that

[8:14] energy is.

[8:15] You don't know what disincarnate beings

[8:17] or what, you know, you don't know what's

[8:19] out there.

[8:20] So, when you say my heart, there is no

[8:23] ambiguity. You're directing the answer

[8:26] to the neural network in the heart

[8:28] that's tuned to the field. My heart.

[8:31] I'm going to invite you to be brief. Ask

[8:33] in a single sentence.

[8:35] All right?

[8:36] Your heart probably knows you. It's

[8:38] probably been with you most of your

[8:39] life. I think for most of us.

[8:43] So, your heart doesn't need a preamble.

[8:44] You don't have to say, well, when I was

[8:45] 5 years old, and you know, and I had

[8:47] this experience in my Your heart knows

[8:48] all that.

[8:50] In a single sentence, ask a question in

[8:52] a way that your heart can answer. Be

[8:54] direct. Be concise. We'll do this

[8:57] together. I'm going to lead you through

[8:58] some questions.

[9:00] And be personal.

[9:02] Your heart cannot answer for another

[9:04] person.

[9:05] There are a million factors that go into

[9:08] another person's experience, past lives,

[9:11] karma. You may not know any of that. You

[9:14] can speculate,

[9:16] but you may not know it. So, be

[9:17] personal. All right? That's the ask.

[9:20] When your heart answers,

[9:23] it will be very similar. The answers

[9:25] will be brief. They'll be concise.

[9:26] They'll be direct. They'll be objective.

[9:29] They won't judge. Your heart will never

[9:31] judge you or another person.

[9:33] Non-judgmental.

[9:34] Uh and they will be safe. Your heart

[9:38] will never ask you to do anything that

[9:40] is harmful to you.

[9:42] The beauty of using a process like this,

[9:45] rather than a chemical or a drug,

[9:48] a lot of people say, well, Greg, you

[9:49] know, I have these experiences in in

[9:52] shamanic ceremonies and all that. And

[9:54] that can all be good. Here's the thing.

[9:57] If you're using a chemical

[10:00] to move you into this space and you have

[10:02] a bad experience, you are stuck until

[10:05] that chemical wears off, until you

[10:07] metabolize it out of your body.

[10:10] If you're in coherence properly, you'll

[10:13] never have a bad experience. If you do

[10:15] have a bad experience, all you do is

[10:17] take a breath, open your eyes,

[10:20] disconnect, and start again.

[10:22] And that's it, because that is how

[10:24] powerful you are.

According to research Braden discusses, yes—the child's DNA permanently lodges in the mother's liver after conception, creating a two-way biological communication system that works across any distance. This fractal antenna effect explains the intuition mothers report, allowing them to sense when their child is in trouble even if separated by vast distances.
The DNA connection between mother and child is an active, two-way biological conversation operating at the cellular level. When that person dies, you're not just losing someone emotionally—you're losing an ongoing communication your cells have been conducting for years or decades, which is why the grief cuts so deep.
The brain is a polarity organ that bounces between opposites (yes/no, right/wrong, success/failure), trapping you in what Braden calls ego loops. The heart is non-polar and processes information extremely fast, often answering before you finish asking. Heart answers draw from objective wisdom in the field, while brain answers get caught in dualistic thinking.
Begin with the words 'my heart' to direct the question clearly, then ask a single, brief sentence without preamble. Your heart knows your history, so skip context. Be direct, concise, and personal—your heart can only answer for you, not for others. The answer often comes almost instantly if you're in a coherent state.
Braden frames it as biology: the heart has its own neural network tuned to an information field where all knowledge exists. It's not mystical—it's a processor drawing from objective reality. The challenge is training yourself to trust it, especially if you're conditioned to rely on logical brain analysis.
DNA is structured to communicate with multiple simultaneous signals across distances, much like an antenna. This explains how the DNA a mother carries in her liver stays in two-way communication with her child's DNA regardless of physical separation, enabling intuitive knowing that defies conventional physics.
