Love as Our Unconditional Nature: Tulku Lobsang on Energy

Two hours into a free online live teaching, Tulku Lobsang sets aside the vocabulary most of us were raised on and makes a claim that sounds almost like a provocation: love is not something we learn, earn, or borrow from other people. In "The Power of Love," published on his channel in October 2026, he describes love as a kind of inborn wealth, a wisdom and a healing that we are born with. He separates what he calls our unconditional nature from our conditional nature, which includes anger, attachment, and ego, all of which arise and pass. He argues that truth, knowledge, and perception are always changing and always partial, and that genuine love, unlike these, strengthens us rather than exhausting us. The teaching lays out three qualities of love (happiness, freedom from pain, and energy) and a graded path of practice that moves from ourselves outward to strangers, enemies, and the natural world. What follows is a close reading of those ideas, drawn from the portion of the transcript available, so that the argument can be followed even by someone who never clicked play.

Is love something we are born with or something we learn?

The teaching begins with a deliberate reframing. Tulku Lobsang says that love is "a wisdom something we not learned," that it is "something we born with," and that it is "some kind of wealth" we did not earn. The emphasis is not sentimental. He is making an ontological claim about what we are, and he is contrasting it with how we usually operate.

That contrast is the spine of the first section. Our nature, in his telling, has two registers. The unconditional register is love. The conditional register contains anger, attachment, and ego, which he says are also "our nature" but are "conditional." The test he uses is impermanence. Conditions change. Time changes. A person changes. Anger, attachment, and ego all rise and fall with circumstances. Love, he says, is different: "Different moment in our life we have a different conditions but this never make a change love."

He gives a personal example to make the point concrete. He describes being, in one year, a person who felt wealthy and healthy, and in another, a person who felt terrible, and says the person changed while love did not. It is a plain, almost disarmingly simple observation, and it is the hinge on which the rest of the teaching turns.

Why does Tulku Lobsang say truth is not enough?

This is the part of the teaching that will likely unsettle people who value knowledge and accuracy most. Tulku Lobsang does not dismiss truth. He relativizes it. "Truth is changed. Person is changed. Their truth is got to change it," he says, adding that different cultures, religions, and societies hold different truths. "We not born with the truth and the truth is something we learn."

From there he makes the argument that organizes the whole talk: "love is more important than truth and wisdom is more important than knowledge." His reasoning is a test question he poses to the audience. Is truth enough to produce a peaceful world? Is knowledge enough? His answer, offered as "maybe not," rests on a claim about purity. He does not believe anyone holds pure knowledge or pure truth, because truth and knowledge are "diluted" by "our anger, our ego, our attachment, our jealous whatever." In his framing, a mind that is still moved by those conditions cannot see clearly, however much it knows.

He also uses a Buddhist image of the perceiving self. We are born with our own perception, he says, we live with it, and we die with it, which is why each person lives in what he calls their own world. He does not present this as despair. He presents it as the reason love is the more reliable foundation: it does not depend on the world being seen correctly.

"Love is the best medicine. That's why I say love is wealth. That's why I say once you have love you have all."

(Tulku Lobsang, "The Power of Love," YouTube teaching, October 2026)

What are the three qualities of love?

Around the 11-minute mark, the teaching shifts into a more structured register. Tulku Lobsang names three qualities, or manifestations, of love. The first is happiness: love makes you happy. The second is the absence of hurt: once you have love, "nothing make you hurt." The third is energy: "love is give you energy." He compresses this into a line: "Shortcut love means energy. Love means no pain. Love means happy."

The energy claim is the one that matters most to the teaching's promise. Tulku Lobsang says that when love is genuine, "nobody need to give you energy" and you "don't need to take energy anywhere," because you discover energy within yourself. For anyone who has come out of a relationship, a crowded event, or a demanding job feeling hollowed out, this is a sharp reframing. Love, here, is not the thing that consumes your reserves. It is the thing that refills them.

He then sorts love into three Buddhist categories: love of the mind, love of the body, and love beyond body and mind. In his shorthand, love of the body is associated with bliss, love of the mind with happiness, and love beyond both with peace. He is explicit that this session would concentrate on love of the mind, and he returns to its three qualities as the working definition for the rest of the talk.

Why practice love if it is already our nature?

This is a question Tulku Lobsang anticipates, and his answer is one of the more subtle moves in the talk. If love is our nature, why practice it at all? He says we practice not because love is absent, but because we want to discover what is already there. "We are practicing because of discovering," he says. The practice is an uncovering, not a manufacturing.

Around the 17-minute mark he lays out the structure. Traditionally, practice begins with oneself and then extends outward. Love for others is itself graded into three circles: near and dear ones, strangers, and those we dislike or, in the worst case, regard as enemies. From there, practice reaches the natural world, which he lists as "sky, sun, moon, water, rivers, flowers."

The logic of the sequence is what makes it coherent. He says that if you have love for yourself, you become your own happiness; if you have love for others, others become your happiness; and if you have love for nature, nature becomes a source of happiness too. He is careful, though, not to promise that life will be free of difficulty. "Please don't misunderstand," he says. "We are the world of the problem." Love does not remove problems. It changes your relationship to them.

He also says he would give "eight steps" to discover this unconditional love, and he moves toward them through a sequence of foundations. In the portion of the transcript available, he emphasizes that you cannot love others without first practicing love for yourself, and that self-kindness and self-tolerance come first. "You cannot love others" if you have not begun with yourself, he says, which is the reason the path starts inward.

Why does self-kindness come before everything else?

The later portions of the teaching, as captured in the segments available, return repeatedly to self-kindness as the base of the structure. He describes kindness toward oneself as a foundation, and then tolerance toward oneself, and calls the sequence something you build in order, the way a structure is raised floor by floor. The image is practical: you need energy to help others, and that energy comes from a settled relationship with yourself.

Read this way, the teaching is less a philosophy of love than a method for stopping the drain. Tulku Lobsang's central complaint about the conditional nature is that it makes us dependent. Anger depends on circumstances, attachment depends on the object, ego depends on recognition. Love practiced as our own nature becomes the one resource that does not need to be borrowed, which is why he returns to the word energy so often.

What does this teaching ask of a reader?

It asks for patience with a line of argument that moves in loops and returns, sometimes in a single sentence, to the same claims about impermanence, truth, and energy. Auto-generated transcripts of spoken teachings also carry errors, and some passages here are hard to parse exactly. The core ideas, though, are clear enough to test in daily life. Notice which of your states are conditional and which seem to hold steady. Notice how your energy rises or falls after time with others. Notice whether your sense of wellbeing depends on being given something, or on something you already carry.

The video's description also points viewers to versions of the same teaching in German, Spanish, French, and Portuguese, listed on the channel's site, which may help readers who want to compare translations of the key terms.

Where to go from here

If this teaching has caught your attention, the most useful step is to watch the full two-hour session, which the transcript shows goes deeper into the eight steps and into the qualities of love. Take notes on the three qualities and try testing them: after an encounter that leaves you drained, ask whether the feeling came from a conditional state, and after one that leaves you energized, ask what in you responded. Return to the three-part structure of the practice, starting with yourself, and notice how the sequence reshapes your attention. Tulku Lobsang's claim is ambitious, and it is meant to be examined, not simply believed.

[0:08] Today

[0:12] we teach about

[0:15] love

[0:17] or let's say the power of love

[0:24] and uh

[0:31] First maybe I like to say this way.

[0:41] Love

[0:44] is the wisdom something we not learned.

[0:52] We born with this

[0:56] love

[0:59] is maybe

[1:04] the healing

[1:07] something not we learned

[1:10] we born with this

[1:14] love is something I like to say wealth

[1:21] something Not we earned

[1:24] we born with us.

[1:29] Love

[1:33] is a wisdom something we not learned.

[1:38] Love is something

[1:41] uh maybe healing

[1:44] is not something we learned.

[1:48] Love is some kind of wealth

[1:52] something we not

[1:56] earn

[1:59] means what I want to say here love is

[2:03] our nature love is not only our nature

[2:07] is a love is our unconditional natures

[2:13] of course we also have a conditional

[2:16] nature natures.

[2:22] Um, anger is the conditional nature.

[2:26] Attachment is conditional nature.

[2:29] Ego is a an uh conditional

[2:37] uh nature.

[2:40] Attachment

[2:44] is conditional nature. Condition is

[2:48] changed. They all go to changes. Time is

[2:52] changed. They all go to change it. The

[2:55] person is changed. They all go to change

[2:58] it.

[3:01] Anger.

[3:04] Yes. Our nature but conditional nature.

[3:09] Attachment. Yes, our nature but

[3:12] conditional nature. Eagle is yes our

[3:15] nature but conditional nature.

[3:19] Attachment yes our nature but

[3:22] conditional nature. What mean

[3:25] conditional nature?

[3:28] Condition is a change it. They go to

[3:31] change it. Time is a change it. They go

[3:33] to change it. Person is a change it.

[3:36] They go to change it. environment is

[3:39] changed, they got to change it.

[3:45] But love

[3:47] is not only our nature. Love is our

[3:52] unconditional nature.

[3:56] Yes,

[4:00] condition is possible. Change it in our

[4:04] life.

[4:06] Different moment in our life we have a

[4:09] different conditions but this never make

[4:13] a change

[4:18] love.

[4:26] Yes.

[4:28] Time is got to change it.

[4:34] We in our life

[4:38] we have a different times

[4:42] different moments.

[4:44] Time is got to change it but love never

[4:47] going to change it.

[4:50] Yes

[4:52] we become different person.

[4:55] You know maybe last year I'm a very

[5:00] what's

[5:02] wealthy healthy person maybe this year

[5:06] I'm a terrible I don't know person is

[5:09] possible change it but love is never

[5:12] changed

[5:18] and therefore love is our unconditional

[5:23] nature and that's Why I'm always saying

[5:26] people

[5:28] truth is not important love is most

[5:31] important

[5:34] condition is a change it truth is a

[5:36] change it time is a change it truth is

[5:39] changed person is changed their truth is

[5:43] got to change it you know

[5:46] different cultures have a different

[5:48] truth different religions have a

[5:50] different truth

[5:53] maybe a Different

[5:59] society have a different kind of truth.

[6:02] We not born with the truth and the truth

[6:06] is something we learn.

[6:16] That's why I say truth is not important

[6:21] or truth is not enough.

[6:25] We need love.

[6:31] Mhm.

[6:32] Maybe I like to say here truth is

[6:36] complete our perception.

[6:58] That's why Buddhist teachings we say

[7:03] you know

[7:05] you born with your own truth you live

[7:08] with your own truth you die with your

[7:11] own truth you born with your own

[7:14] perception you live with your own

[7:16] perception you die with your p your own

[7:19] perception you born with your own world.

[7:22] You live with your own world. You go to

[7:25] die with your own world.

[7:33] Maybe you born with your dream, you live

[7:37] with your own dream, you die with your

[7:41] own dream.

[7:43] We are a world of the dream.

[7:48] However, I like to say here

[7:52] truth

[7:55] is not important or truth is not enough.

[8:04] That's why I say love is more important

[8:08] than truth

[8:11] and wisdom is more important than

[8:16] knowledge.

[8:18] I know in this modern world

[8:22] and we have a great respect and the

[8:26] knowledge

[8:27] and the truth. Let's think this way. Is

[8:30] the truth is enough?

[8:34] We have a peaceful world.

[8:38] This is interesting question.

[8:41] This truth is enough.

[8:48] We have a peaceful world. Is knowledge

[8:52] is enough.

[8:55] We have a peaceful world.

[8:58] Maybe not. Maybe not.

[9:04] Why I say maybe not? I don't believe

[9:08] they have a pure knowledge. I don't

[9:10] believe they have pure truth.

[9:14] Truth

[9:17] or knowledge is diluted

[9:24] of our anger, our ego, our attachment,

[9:29] our jealous whatever. They know have a

[9:33] pure truth. They know have pure

[9:37] knowledge.

[9:40] That's why

[9:43] is a time to go beyond the knowledge,

[9:46] time to go beyond truth.

[9:52] What is I like to say love

[9:58] and that's why I say love is the best

[10:02] medicine.

[10:07] That's why I say love is

[10:12] wealth.

[10:15] That's why I say once you have love you

[10:18] have all.

[10:23] Remember

[10:24] love have a three qualities let's say or

[10:29] love have a three quality. The first

[10:32] quality of love,

[10:35] love have nature or love have a three

[10:38] kind of nature. Maybe I like to say love

[10:41] have three kind of quality or three kind

[10:44] of nature or three kind of

[10:47] manifestations.

[10:51] Number one,

[10:55] love make you happy. Number two,

[11:02] once you're love, nothing make you hurt.

[11:06] Number three,

[11:08] and love

[11:10] is give you energy.

[11:14] Shortcut

[11:17] love means energy. Love means no pain.

[11:22] Love means happy.

[11:25] If you have a true love, you experience

[11:30] all this qualities in you.

[11:42] Once you have love, nobody need to give

[11:46] you energy or you don't need to take

[11:49] energy anywhere.

[11:51] and you discover energy in you.

[11:57] Therefore

[12:02] in the Buddhistic worlds we talk three

[12:05] different kind of love. Love of mind and

[12:10] the love of the body

[12:13] and the love something we say the

[12:18] love beyond the body and beyond the

[12:21] mind.

[12:24] We talk three different kind of love.

[12:27] Love of

[12:29] mind and the love of the body and love

[12:36] beyond

[12:38] body and mind.

[12:41] But today we are going to talk it

[12:45] love of mind

[12:48] and the love of mind

[12:52] let's generally you know as you say

[12:54] generally love of mind make we happy

[12:58] love of body make we are bliss and the

[13:02] love beyond body and mind

[13:07] make we peace. Peace,

[13:11] peace,

[13:14] love of body we give name is bliss. Love

[13:19] of mind we give name is happiness. Love

[13:24] in the beyond body, beyond mind what we

[13:27] call peace.

[13:31] But today in this three or two hours we

[13:35] are focused more love of mind.

[13:38] We don't talk so much love of body here.

[13:41] We are not talk so much love beyond body

[13:43] and mind. We are more talk as love of

[13:49] mind.

[13:51] I told it you love of mind make we

[13:54] happy. Of course. But the love of mind

[13:58] have a you know I say the love of mind I

[14:01] say make we happy but the love of mind

[14:05] have a three quality of three natures.

[14:12] First

[14:14] yes I say make we are h make we are

[14:19] happy. Second make we don't I second

[14:22] make we don't have pain.

[14:25] And the third make we have energy.

[14:32] Mhm.

[14:35] But now interesting.

[14:38] But how we how we practice this love? Of

[14:41] course. I mean love is our nature. Of

[14:45] course

[14:48] we practice love not because of love is

[14:52] not our nature. We have practiced

[14:55] because of love is our nature. Oh sorry

[14:58] we have practiced love because we want

[15:01] discovering.

[15:04] Yeah we want to discovering our true

[15:06] nature or we want to discovering love in

[15:11] us. We are practicing not because

[15:16] uh

[15:18] we are what say not because we are Mhm.

[15:24] uh

[15:26] created love

[15:29] not because we make love.

[15:33] We are practicing because of

[15:36] discovering.

[15:40] Therefore when we practice love I think

[15:46] should be I want to give eight steps

[15:50] eight steps

[15:52] to really discover

[15:56] love let's say to discover this let's

[16:00] say unconditional love maybe

[16:04] unconditional love let's say to discover

[16:07] love in us I give it

[16:12] eight steps or eight practice.

[16:20] Well,

[16:23] traditionally,

[16:25] you know, uh first we practice love

[16:29] ourself

[16:32] and then we practice love others.

[16:38] Yeah.

[16:41] Uh

[16:42] to practice love others,

[16:46] we also make three different levels, you

[16:49] know. First, we practice love

[16:53] our near and dears. Second, we practice

[16:57] love strangers or who we don't know.

[17:02] Third, we practice love. What say uh who

[17:07] are who we don't like it or worst case

[17:10] our enemies.

[17:15] And then we practice love in the nature.

[17:19] Nature. Yes. We call nature. I think

[17:22] nature or environment

[17:24] means sky, sun, moon, water, rivers,

[17:30] flowers.

[17:32] You know all nature you know

[17:41] why we do this

[17:43] is you have love

[17:47] if you have what say if you have love

[17:50] yourself guarantee

[17:54] you become your own happiness. If you

[17:56] have love others guarantee others become

[17:59] your happiness. If you have love, nature

[18:01] is a guarantee. Nature is a become

[18:04] happiness.

[18:06] No.

[18:10] If you love yourself.

[18:14] Mhm. Uh what say you what say you never

[18:20] go hurt yourself or you never take

[18:24] maybe I say this you never go to hurt

[18:26] yourself or if you have a love others

[18:30] others never go to hurt you if you have

[18:33] a love nature is nature never go to hurt

[18:37] you but that's not mean please don't

[18:39] misunderstand we don't have a problem.

[18:45] Of course, we have problem.

[18:49] We are the world of the problem.

[18:53] If you don't want any problem, I used to

[18:56] say you are complete wrong planet. Never

[19:01] come back here.

[19:08] And our great practitional

[19:13] um great practitioners in our masters

[19:18] they not only

[19:21] uh yeah they not only have problem of

[19:24] the uh problems but they sometime pray

[19:27] to have more problem

[19:31] that's little strange way to say

[19:36] Because

[19:39] sometime problem give we a courage

[19:44] sometime we know enough problem

[19:47] therefore we never make a big changes

[19:50] sometime because we know enough problem

[19:53] we don't make a big what's say we don't

[19:55] make a big

[19:57] yeah big changes

[20:05] Because the problem is the best teacher

[20:12] and the problem is also best healing

[20:18] and the problem also give energy us.

[20:28] We have seen this great warriors you

[20:31] know the courage the war the the great

[20:34] warriors when they see their own blood

[20:39] they see their own blood and this make

[20:42] they become more brave you know

[20:46] but is the weak person they see own

[20:50] blood they fall down you know they see

[20:55] you know when the maybe I is weak person

[20:58] let's say or

[21:01] weak mind or weak body or weak heart

[21:05] when they see the wounded theirself or

[21:07] they see their own blood and this make

[21:10] their weak

[21:14] but the the this great warrior

[21:20] and one day see their own blood and this

[21:24] give them more energy this give them

[21:26] more courage

[21:28] you know

[21:30] is a similar

[21:32] maybe not everybody

[21:35] maybe we we are brave

[21:39] is we are very courage

[21:41] when we see the problem the problem give

[21:44] courage us

[21:47] you know some people problem give their

[21:50] courage some people problem make their

[21:54] weak

[21:58] You know

[22:00] I told that

[22:02] some people see their own blood this

[22:05] give their courage

[22:08] and some people they see their own blood

[22:11] this make their weak. Same some people

[22:14] there see the problem and let's give

[22:17] their courage and some people there see

[22:20] their see their problem let's make weak

[22:25] what part you choose it

[22:33] I'm sorry to say we are the world of a

[22:36] problem

[22:41] yes means

[22:43] We all have a problem

[22:52] or you use a problem or problem use you

[23:02] there only have a two way.

[23:05] Yeah.

[23:08] You know

[23:11] you use problem

[23:14] become have a better mind, better body,

[23:18] better life or become better person

[23:22] or problem use you

[23:27] destroy you.

[23:33] That's why I always say never expected

[23:38] life without problem.

[23:45] Never expected

[23:47] life without problem.

[23:51] No matter what kind of life you have it,

[23:56] never expected life without problem.

[24:03] If you believe you, if you believe it,

[24:07] you have life without problem. You are

[24:10] terribly

[24:12] one of the greatest ignorant men and

[24:15] woman in this world. You are dangerous

[24:19] person yourself

[24:21] maybe in the society in the world. If

[24:25] you believe it,

[24:27] you know I you know is you believe it.

[24:30] You have a life without problem

[24:34] or you believe that you possible have a

[24:38] life without problem is a terribly

[24:42] one of the greatest ignorance ever

[24:45] happened or

[24:48] you believe it life without you believe

[24:51] it you have a life without problem

[24:54] or you wanted life without problem you

[24:58] are become one of the greatest eagle

[25:02] person ever born maybe in the world.

[25:12] Remember

[25:14] problem teaching us problem make

[25:18] correction us

[25:26] problem helping us

[25:33] that's why in the Buddhist teachings we

[25:38] say we go to receive three kind of help

[25:43] in our life.

[25:49] First we need

[25:53] help of the humans.

[25:57] Second we need help of the life.

[26:03] Third we got to need help of ourself

[26:08] means Buddhisms we call three helps or

[26:12] three masters.

[26:18] First

[26:20] humans

[26:22] our master or our teacher.

[26:28] Humans teach we lots of thing.

[26:32] But the teaching of a human have a

[26:35] limitation.

[26:37] They teach it.

[26:44] But some things humans cannot teach us.

[26:49] Who teach us? Life.

[26:52] Life. Life.

[26:54] Second. Our teacher is life. First our

[26:58] teacher is a human. Second our teacher

[27:01] is alive.

[27:03] What life teach us human cannot teach

[27:07] us.

[27:10] Therefore second is the life is our

[27:13] teacher

[27:16] and some moment life also cannot teach

[27:19] anything us

[27:21] done. And who go to teach us? Oursel.

[27:31] We become our own teacher. We become our

[27:36] own master. That's why Buddha say you

[27:40] are your own enemy. You are your own

[27:43] friends.

[27:50] However,

[27:53] remember I told love of three natures.

[27:58] First,

[27:59] happiness. Second, no long hurt. No

[28:04] hurt. I think no hurt. And the third is

[28:08] energy.

[28:12] Is you have a true love. You have

[28:16] energy. If you have two love, nothing

[28:19] really make you go to hurt. If you have

[28:22] true love, you go to happy everything.

[28:27] If you have true love, you go to happy

[28:30] everything. If you have true love,

[28:32] nothing go to make hurt you. If you have

[28:35] true love, everything give you energy.

[28:43] Again,

[28:45] if you have a true love,

[28:49] you go to happy everything. If you have

[28:51] a true love, nothing go to make hurt

[28:55] you. And if you have true love,

[28:58] everything give you energy.

[29:01] Everything give you energy.

[29:07] That's why

[29:15] In the Buddhist teachings we say

[29:19] love is look like

[29:24] lion.

[29:29] A touchman is look like a dog.

[29:34] You know dog and a lion.

[29:41] They have some dog you know very near

[29:43] the lion

[29:46] I don't know the name of this dog but he

[29:49] have big head you know small bottom and

[29:52] quite lots of muscle

[29:56] you know I look the small dogs it's very

[29:58] funny you know I always like to see dog

[30:00] herself in the mirror you know it's

[30:03] really serious you know they have some

[30:06] small dog is really serious face is

[30:08] really look like lion and small but is a

[30:11] big muscles and you know solid it's look

[30:16] like lion you know

[30:20] okay

[30:22] now I want to talk the life of lion and

[30:24] the dog

[30:26] of course don't please don't

[30:28] misunderstand I love more dog than lion

[30:32] okay is I need to choose it just don't

[30:34] worry you know this is just a

[30:37] teaching

[30:40] Nowadays you need to careful you know

[30:44] this world is uh very sensitive you need

[30:47] to politically make everything

[30:49] correction you know whatever you say to

[30:52] hurt somebody

[30:54] you know yeah you whatever you say

[30:57] something not not yeah to hurt somebody

[31:00] or or to I don't know and therefore

[31:03] sometime you don't know how to teach it

[31:05] you

[31:08] Yeah.

[31:09] But uh well

[31:18] now what I want to talk here love and

[31:21] attachment

[31:23] it's love and attachment. Is this is

[31:26] love or this is attachment?

[31:32] We are the world of attachment.

[31:35] Especially humans, we are the nail the

[31:40] manifestation of attachment

[31:48] and therefore

[31:50] name of love we have practice

[31:53] attachment. You know is this is love or

[31:56] this is attachment. We don't know.

[31:58] Therefore in the Buddhist teachings love

[32:02] and attachment so near you don't know

[32:04] which one is look like twins. Twins yeah

[32:08] you know trains. Mhm.

[32:12] Some twins is so similar you don't know

[32:15] which one Mr. Lobang you don't know

[32:18] which tell Mr. Nema whatever

[32:21] is a similar and love and attachment so

[32:25] near you don't know which what you have

[32:27] it remember

[32:30] once you have attachment

[32:33] you not go to happy everything oh yeah

[32:37] once you have attachment you not go to

[32:39] be happy

[32:41] things once you have attachment

[32:43] everything make you hurt once you have

[32:46] attachment

[32:48] Nothing maybe really give you energy.

[32:59] We we have addiction to practice

[33:02] attachment. Why? Because attachment and

[33:06] love is a beginning is the same.

[33:13] Mirror is 50/50 and is totally different

[33:18] means attachment begin make we happy.

[33:22] Mirror is a 5050

[33:25] and end is just a pen or not only pen is

[33:30] a double pen

[33:33] or double tubal pens.

[33:43] Who possible take our energy?

[33:46] Attachment. What make really possible

[33:49] pain us attachment. What make we really

[33:52] make we are unhappy person is

[33:56] attachment. Attachment.

[33:59] Attachment.

[34:04] Therefore

[34:07] attachment make we become look like dog

[34:12] and love make we become look like lion

[34:16] lion no have honor

[34:22] free of honor or love let's lion no have

[34:27] honor nobody own lion means lion is not

[34:32] have honor.

[34:36] The dog have honor.

[34:39] That is a difference.

[34:43] Once you have attachment, your happiness

[34:46] others own.

[34:48] Once you have attachment,

[34:52] others become your problem.

[34:57] Once you have attachment, others who go

[34:59] to take your energy.

[35:06] Once you have attachment, everybody take

[35:10] your energy, you know. And once you have

[35:14] attachment, everybody become your

[35:17] problem. Once you have attachment, maybe

[35:20] you're not go to happy nobody.

[35:24] That's means

[35:30] once you have attachment you happy your

[35:33] happiness others own your energy others

[35:36] own

[35:38] the others

[35:40] become also to maybe owner of your

[35:43] problem

[35:45] your problem others own your happiness

[35:48] others own your energies others own

[35:51] others own others become the owner of

[35:56] you.

[36:03] That's why in the Buddhistic world

[36:06] attachment we call the arrow of a

[36:10] beautiful flower. Beautiful flower. The

[36:13] beautiful flower.

[36:15] The arrow.

[36:18] We have the four arrows.

[36:21] The arrow of ego, arrow of attach the

[36:25] sorry arrow of ego, arrow of anger and

[36:29] arrow of uh

[36:32] and attachment and arrow of the jealous.

[36:36] But which arrow is most beautiful arrow

[36:40] is arrow of the attachment. That means

[36:43] mostly we die the arrow of the

[36:46] attachment.

[36:51] The arrow of attachment hit our deep in

[36:54] the heart

[36:56] and we go die with this arrow.

[37:05] Therefore conclusion what I'm saying yes

[37:10] attachment our nature of course but

[37:13] conditional nature

[37:18] love yes our nature but unconditional

[37:23] nature

[37:30] attachment

[37:32] is our conditional nature.

[37:35] Therefore we cannot keep attachment

[37:37] forever. Is you wanted you know

[37:41] we cannot keep it attachment forever

[37:45] is maybe you like it but maybe I'm

[37:48] nobody wanted it but any case is you

[37:51] wanted to keep your attachment forever

[37:53] we cannot because of

[37:56] attachment is condition

[38:00] time and the person in change it

[38:04] attachment go to change

[38:10] But love is not only our nature

[38:14] unconditional nature.

[38:17] Therefore

[38:22] can condition is changed. Time is a

[38:25] change it. What say

[38:30] person is changed but love never go to

[38:34] change it.

[38:38] That's why

[38:40] I say attachment

[38:45] is

[38:47] the poison of mind. Attachment illness

[38:53] of a body.

[38:59] Attachment is the fear of life.

[39:17] They have one antidote of all this

[39:21] problem. What is love? And this antidote

[39:25] we have it.

[39:28] We have it

[39:31] just we sorry we have it. What is this

[39:35] is love. Therefore discover love in us.

[39:42] We need to make eight steps.

[39:47] The discovering love in us. We need to

[39:52] make this eight steps.

[39:57] Remember

[40:02] very beginning remember very very

[40:04] beginning I told it

[40:09] first we need to practice love ourself

[40:12] second we need to practice love others

[40:15] to practice love others three different

[40:18] level first we practice love our nearest

[40:21] and deers and second we practice love

[40:24] strangers who we don't

[40:27] So we go to practice people who we don't

[40:30] like it or worst case our enemies.

[40:33] Yeah. And then we practice love

[40:38] nature means environment. Nature

[40:44] what is a beneficial or yeah what is

[40:47] beneficial

[40:49] you know whoever love

[40:53] let's say whoever whoever you have love

[40:58] this make you happy whoever you have

[41:01] love does not go to hurt you whoever

[41:04] have love this never go to this never

[41:08] take your energy but of Of course you

[41:11] say me. Many people say oh you know I'm

[41:16] so much hurt in my heart you know I'm so

[41:20] much broken here because of love you

[41:22] know because of love. I'm sure some of

[41:25] people we say you know but you know

[41:29] that's not true

[41:32] I'm once I'm fall in love somebody once

[41:34] I'm fall in love somethings and you know

[41:38] and that's really hurt me that's really

[41:40] destroy and that's make really break my

[41:44] heart last 20 years 30 years 40 years or

[41:47] whatever but remember ladies gentlemen

[41:51] this is not love this is I touch a man.

[42:02] We have a saying in the Tibetan

[42:09] is attachment is look like a cup made

[42:14] let's say

[42:17] cup is made with earth earth maybe earth

[42:24] and love is look like cup made with old

[42:39] means

[42:42] come what made with earth is your break

[42:45] is a break you cannot really fix it

[42:50] same way

[42:52] is a break is a break

[42:55] easy to break easy to break

[43:00] and easy to break and you cannot uh

[43:04] really fix it.

[43:07] Same way

[43:10] but

[43:17] cup made with gold is a difficult to

[43:20] break.

[43:22] But is you break is you break

[43:26] any case you possible bring exactly same

[43:30] glass exactly same glass

[43:35] means

[43:37] glass with made gold never go to really

[43:40] break

[43:42] is you break I don't know you whatever

[43:45] and you possible build back exactly same

[43:54] Therefore, I want to drink tea in the

[43:58] golden cup, not with

[44:04] Oh, wooden cup. Or maybe I say wooden

[44:07] cup. Maybe I better to say wooden cup.

[44:09] Maybe. Yeah, maybe I don't say earth.

[44:11] Wooden cup. Maybe I don't want you drink

[44:14] your tea in the wooden cup. I want you

[44:17] drink tea in the golden cup. Because

[44:19] this wooden cup is you break is you

[44:22] break you cannot fix the same way it's

[44:25] just break.

[44:27] Yeah. But is you break golden cup number

[44:32] one you cannot break. But is you break

[44:34] look like and you possible fix back

[44:37] exactly same

[44:41] unbreakable.

[44:43] Similar ladies gentlemen.

[44:49] Once you have love, nothing go to really

[44:54] hurt you. Nothing make you really got to

[44:56] hurt you.

[44:58] Look like same.

[45:02] Uh maybe I give a best example.

[45:08] What is a golden cup? What is a wooden

[45:12] cup?

[45:15] Something you possibly break, something

[45:17] you cannot break.

[45:19] Is

[45:21] is a love of a child. Just example, love

[45:25] of the child. East look like golden cup

[45:30] unbreakable.

[45:37] Mhm.

[45:40] Love of child.

[45:47] You know generally therefore

[45:51] in the nature world through of the child

[45:55] we possible experience one of the near

[45:59] of unconditional love.

[46:04] Therefore

[46:06] we all happy you know whatever child we

[46:10] all have happy what say child make we

[46:14] are child make we are happy and child

[46:17] not go to hurt us child give energy us

[46:27] is that means the child is very

[46:29] beautiful no child not necessarily

[46:32] Beautiful.

[46:35] Correct. Is that's means the child not

[46:38] make a problem. No. No. It's not

[46:41] necessary. Yes. Child possible make a

[46:43] problem. You know it means that's means

[46:47] child don't take our energy. No

[46:51] you know but remember it's the one of

[46:54] the nearest of unconditional love. You

[46:57] know

[46:59] it's very interesting why ladies

[47:01] gentlemen child is so important you know

[47:04] without love child have a I mean child

[47:08] is a terrible business you know terrible

[47:11] business I don't know why why we all

[47:13] want a child

[47:16] I don't know you know why why why why

[47:19] yeah you I mean you give everything and

[47:22] uh you know uh and they take everything

[47:27] and they bring all problem you. You know

[47:30] you give every good thing you have and

[47:33] they bring all of their problem you and

[47:35] they take everything you what what what

[47:39] is are you crazy are you crazy what is

[47:42] this you know I mean just generally you

[47:44] know is you just look directly is a one

[47:48] of the terrible business you know

[47:50] they're no winning they're losing is a

[47:53] baby born to until they are there they

[47:55] die is losing is losing is one of a

[47:58] terrible

[48:00] Business ever you build it. You know

[48:04] is business-wise looks like you know you

[48:08] give everything

[48:10] what you have good things and they bring

[48:12] everything what they have bad things

[48:16] and then they take all everything.

[48:21] But why why why

[48:25] is a child? Because through of the child

[48:28] we possible experience unconditional

[48:32] love

[48:34] not not a child you understand through

[48:38] of the child through of the child you

[48:42] don't need to be great practitioner you

[48:44] don't need to be Buddhism you don't need

[48:46] to be also good person you don't need to

[48:49] be also good person you don't need to be

[48:51] very intelligent person you don't need

[48:53] to be very very relig person. You don't

[48:56] need to be any you know you don't need

[48:59] you know but still through of a children

[49:04] or through of the child we possible

[49:08] experience the one of the

[49:12] near of unconditional love

[49:21] I cannot experience

[49:24] you unconditional love

[49:27] with my you you understand

[49:31] I'm sorry to say I cannot experience

[49:34] this kind of unconditional love with my

[49:37] wife or my husband I'm sorry to say that

[49:42] maybe you all believe you have

[49:45] unconditional love

[49:49] possible you know some people you have

[49:50] possible you know couples of course

[49:52] possible I'm sorry to say

[49:56] but generally not you know

[50:01] you know. Mhm.

[50:05] Uh uh uh

[50:12] you see without child

[50:15] without child without practice without

[50:18] child without the practice we cannot

[50:23] experience unconditional love.

[50:27] But everybody

[50:31] tired to practice. Correct.

[50:35] The best idea to have a child

[50:38] and you don't need to practice

[50:42] unconditional love and you have it. You

[50:44] have it.

[50:46] You don't know where come from this you

[50:48] know

[50:52] I hope so you know of course uh just one

[50:55] example of course you pass you know

[51:00] to they have two way to discover

[51:04] unconditional love

[51:06] in within us. One through of the

[51:11] meditation

[51:13] or one through of the nature. What is

[51:18] through of nature? Of course,

[51:21] through of the through of practice maybe

[51:25] through of the practice, through of

[51:26] nature example in the nature is the best

[51:30] you possible discover love through of

[51:34] your child.

[51:38] child is the just I'm sorry to say is a

[51:41] method is a way but is you discover love

[51:46] in you

[51:51] only child possible do this only

[51:54] generally I say please generally I say

[51:57] of course you possible experience this

[51:59] kind of unc unconditioned love with some

[52:02] people but generally only with the child

[52:05] That is the secret

[52:13] you know.

[52:32] Therefore child

[52:37] make we happy. Let's say or child not go

[52:41] to hurt us or child give energy us.

[52:54] Mhm. We don't need to practice love our

[52:58] child. Karmically we are loved

[53:02] and then we discover this kind of

[53:05] unconditional love in us. Therefore

[53:08] shortcut

[53:11] I want you be look like a lion not look

[53:14] like dog. I don't want you drink wooden

[53:17] cup because is break we cannot fix back.

[53:23] Same way I want you drink golden cup.

[53:27] What is golden cup is love. What is lion

[53:31] is love.

[53:33] Uh what is wooden cup is attachment. You

[53:39] know what is a dog is attachment.

[53:43] Therefore to practice love we have se

[53:49] eight steps.

[53:52] First step step first step step of we

[53:56] are all same

[53:59] you know you need to make meditation of

[54:01] we are all same we want the same thing

[54:05] we don't want the same thing

[54:09] second

[54:10] you need to meditate

[54:17] everybody helping us include ourself

[54:20] self

[54:22] you know everybody

[54:25] or everything helping us

[54:30] third you need to practice

[54:33] uh uh I would say gratefulness

[54:37] gratefulness

[54:39] this order is important this order is

[54:41] very important gratefulness

[54:45] uh third maybe and the fourth you need

[54:48] thankfulness thankfulness This order is

[54:51] very important.

[54:54] And

[54:55] fifth, you need

[54:58] kindness.

[55:00] And then I think six should be you need

[55:04] to compassion recall.

[55:08] Yeah. Uh fifth or I I make no mistake.

[55:13] Maybe fifth or whatever. And then next

[55:16] number you need the Mhm.

[55:21] Uh what you call

[55:24] um

[55:26] aturism mind. Aturism mind or Yes. And

[55:32] then you got to have what you call

[55:35] bodhicha heart.

[55:38] Okay. Uh well I just make before break I

[55:43] just make one the steps and then when we

[55:46] come back it I make all the steps clear

[55:50] and then we also give little question we

[55:53] go to practice. Okay we go to practice

[55:56] but now we go to break and uh 15

[56:01] minutes. Thank you very much. You are so

[56:04] beautiful and therefore

[56:09] okay

[56:13] would you like to start straight away

[56:15] with the questions?

[56:22] Uh yes and I take straight in the our

[56:26] questions but uh uh I only give it 20

[56:30] minutes the time to question then I also

[56:34] want we make a little practice together

[56:36] and uh yes

[56:39] >> okay then let's start straight away

[56:41] question one rimpache would you say that

[56:46] as long as we still reject reject

[56:49] something in ourself, it will be

[56:52] impossible to experience our true nature

[56:56] and feel unconditional love for anything

[56:58] else. Or in other words, that this would

[57:01] be the first step to truly accept and

[57:05] feel love for everything inside ourself.

[57:11] Uh

[57:13] yes I think seems in the great

[57:17] uh master Jarbanga

[57:21] we believe he one life one body who

[57:24] enlightened

[57:26] Jerba

[57:29] and he say without love

[57:34] without love yourself or without love

[57:37] yourself you cannot love others.

[57:40] Yeah. And uh without Yeah, that's what

[57:45] he say. And uh

[57:50] Yes. Yes, that's correct. Maybe I give

[57:53] you short answers.

[57:55] Great master Jeranga

[57:59] and he say

[58:01] without love yourself you cannot love

[58:04] others. Without kind yourself, you

[58:06] cannot kind others. Without compassion

[58:09] yourself, you cannot really

[58:15] help others. Of course, they have a deep

[58:17] meaning, but yes,

[58:24] my mother is very old and in a nursing

[58:27] home after a serious fall, which makes

[58:31] me very sad.

[58:33] Are we in our conditioned ex existence

[58:37] able to experience true unconditional

[58:41] love even though we also experience

[58:44] grief and sadness? And what is the best

[58:48] way to transform this sadness

[58:54] or remember

[58:59] love

[59:00] let's say the love I say the love have

[59:05] eight steps maybe or eight or seven

[59:08] steps

[59:09] and this the the last step I call the

[59:13] complete love

[59:15] in this Once you have this love,

[59:19] this this complete love and love is

[59:22] antidote of

[59:25] self grasping or selfishness or self.

[59:33] You know

[59:37] we have one main reasons we are not

[59:42] happy everything because of

[59:46] selfishness or because of a

[59:50] self-centered

[59:54] and uh everything make hurt us because

[59:58] of self or selfishness or self-centered

[1:00:04] because everything take our energy.

[1:00:09] Nothing give nothing give us energy

[1:00:13] because also self or self-centered and

[1:00:17] selfishness.

[1:00:20] Of course this is a very deep

[1:00:23] philosophic discussion here but the

[1:00:26] simple way say yes where ever have a

[1:00:31] self

[1:00:34] no happy

[1:00:36] whereever have a self grasping maybe I

[1:00:40] say whereever have a

[1:00:43] selfgrasping we are not really happy

[1:00:45] where ever have a

[1:00:49] self-centered

[1:00:51] uh everything make hurt us. Whereever

[1:00:56] have

[1:00:57] selfishness

[1:00:59] uh make everything make we are tired or

[1:01:04] take energy.

[1:01:06] Therefore

[1:01:07] love

[1:01:09] is antidote of a self. Self is very

[1:01:13] painful. You know

[1:01:17] once

[1:01:18] you don't have the once you have less

[1:01:21] self or once you don't have this

[1:01:24] selfishness nothing make your pain

[1:01:28] include also death.

[1:01:32] You understand? Once you don't have

[1:01:36] self selfishness

[1:01:40] once you have a love nothing make pain

[1:01:47] also include death.

[1:01:52] Whenever we experience pain we

[1:01:55] experience self.

[1:01:58] Without self we cannot experience

[1:02:02] suffering and the pain and the

[1:02:04] tiredness.

[1:02:07] That's why

[1:02:09] yes

[1:02:11] uh that's also sorry why we need love

[1:02:16] such

[1:02:19] uh such kind of world such extreme world

[1:02:23] we are live extreme worlds

[1:02:28] the birth is extreme death is extreme

[1:02:33] you know to go into higher Higher,

[1:02:37] higher, extreme. Go to lower to lower

[1:02:41] is extreme. Coming

[1:02:45] you know complete coming extreme. Going

[1:02:48] is extreme. Meeting is extreme. Separate

[1:02:52] is extreme. But we are world of extreme.

[1:02:56] You understand? Birth is extreme. Death

[1:02:59] is extreme.

[1:03:01] You know winning is extreme. Losing is

[1:03:04] extreme. Going to higher is extreme.

[1:03:07] Going to lower is extreme. Is a

[1:03:11] coming is extreme. Going extreme.

[1:03:15] Meeting is extreme. Separate is extreme.

[1:03:19] We are the world of extreme. Look like a

[1:03:23] tsunami or look like ocean of the

[1:03:27] tsunami waves.

[1:03:29] and to

[1:03:32] calm and you know to to have more calm

[1:03:36] or more

[1:03:39] yeah in the such extreme or such I'm

[1:03:43] sorry to say such a violence world I'm

[1:03:46] sorry to say such extreme or such uh

[1:03:51] violence world

[1:03:55] you needed love otherwise you cannot

[1:03:59] survive.

[1:04:02] Yes. Once you have love such extreme

[1:04:08] such extreme world, you still possible.

[1:04:12] What say? Be happy.

[1:04:16] Nothing go to hurt you.

[1:04:20] I hope this answer will help.

[1:04:26] Rimpache when the heart opens there is

[1:04:31] great bliss and joy but also a sense of

[1:04:35] vulnerability

[1:04:37] and even pain that feels different from

[1:04:40] mental suffering. What is the nature of

[1:04:43] that pain? Is it an illusion?

[1:04:50] Well, maybe I before I give this answer,

[1:04:56] of course, I need to fully fully

[1:04:58] understand of uh uh your question. I

[1:05:03] hear what you say, but that's not mean I

[1:05:06] understand what you want to say. I hear

[1:05:09] what you say, but that's not mean I

[1:05:12] understand what you want to say.

[1:05:14] Therefore maybe my answer is not uh uh

[1:05:20] not fulfill what you what say what you

[1:05:25] really want here maybe but still I try

[1:05:29] to give some answer based what what

[1:05:32] based of what I hear not the base of

[1:05:35] what you want to say because I don't

[1:05:37] know

[1:05:39] uh that's why to be yeah well shortcut

[1:05:43] But

[1:05:45] and uh

[1:05:49] again I say this you know attachment and

[1:05:52] love is very very near. You cannot

[1:05:55] separate

[1:06:00] very very very near.

[1:06:05] We have a 40

[1:06:08] different kind of form of attachment. We

[1:06:11] have

[1:06:16] Big attachment, medium attachment, small

[1:06:20] attachment,

[1:06:22] direct attachment, indirect attachment,

[1:06:26] hidden attachment.

[1:06:28] You know,

[1:06:31] we don't know

[1:06:33] is this what what you feel is a love or

[1:06:37] attachment.

[1:06:43] Because attachment also make open ass.

[1:06:48] The begin attachment open ass.

[1:06:52] Middle

[1:06:54] 50 open 50 close

[1:06:58] and is complete close.

[1:07:04] Generally attachment begin we are

[1:07:06] opened. meter is a 50 when we open fully

[1:07:13] we have a full happiness.

[1:07:15] Yeah. Attachment have a three faces

[1:07:18] and the middle attachment half is open

[1:07:21] half is closed. That means attachment

[1:07:24] half make we happy half make we unhappy

[1:07:26] or pain and attachment

[1:07:31] complete close and complete we have

[1:07:38] pain

[1:07:39] and

[1:07:41] it's now question is what is attachment

[1:07:44] what is love very very difficult we

[1:07:54] is um

[1:07:58] uh that's why I just want to say is you

[1:08:02] really experience love

[1:08:07] first make you happy middle make you

[1:08:10] happy and also make you happy let's say

[1:08:13] happy happy yes first is also not heard

[1:08:16] middle is also not heard and is also not

[1:08:19] heard. Begin is also give energy. Midor

[1:08:22] is also give energy and is also give

[1:08:25] energy is the same.

[1:08:29] Therefore maybe what you experience

[1:08:33] not fully fully fully love.

[1:08:39] You know

[1:08:41] remember I said there are 40 different

[1:08:44] kind of attachment. Of course one kind

[1:08:46] of attachment you don't have it but you

[1:08:48] have other kind of attachment you know

[1:08:54] I think so therefore solution I think we

[1:08:59] need to know first what is attachment

[1:09:02] what is a love I think and then maybe

[1:09:07] better okay

[1:09:13] >> to the next question is a little

[1:09:16] related. So the question is how can we

[1:09:20] can we overcome attachment? Is

[1:09:23] attachment caused by the fear of being

[1:09:27] unhappy

[1:09:29] or is it connected to the intensity of

[1:09:33] our innate love?

[1:09:41] Well, of course, there are many many

[1:09:44] method.

[1:09:46] Yes. Uh

[1:09:48] you have a three way to come out of

[1:09:51] attachment. First you practice.

[1:09:55] They have a three

[1:09:57] way or they have three way to you come

[1:09:59] out of attachment. First the practice of

[1:10:03] antidote of attachment. Second

[1:10:06] attachment is transformed to love.

[1:10:11] You know third you see the nature of

[1:10:14] attachment.

[1:10:18] Yeah. First you practice antidote of

[1:10:23] attachment

[1:10:26] is the what is antidote of attachment.

[1:10:29] In this case love

[1:10:33] is antidote.

[1:10:35] The more increase love attachment

[1:10:39] automatically decrease. Yeah.

[1:10:42] Automatically let's say decrease. This

[1:10:45] name we call

[1:10:48] antidote vehicle and then

[1:10:50] transformation.

[1:10:53] Yes. Attachment repossible

[1:10:56] transform to love. That's what the

[1:11:00] tantric Buddhistic practice.

[1:11:03] And then

[1:11:06] third you look the nature of attachment.

[1:11:11] Look the nature of attachment. The

[1:11:13] nature of attachment

[1:11:16] empty of in the nature of attachment

[1:11:20] empty of inherent nature.

[1:11:24] You know what is the nature of nature of

[1:11:27] attachment? Empty is empty. emptiness or

[1:11:31] emptiness empty of inherent nature. Once

[1:11:35] you start to see the nature the absolute

[1:11:39] nature of attachment

[1:11:42] then you don't need to go out of

[1:11:45] attachment. Attachment is not longer

[1:11:48] there.

[1:11:52] Depend which kind of level you wanted.

[1:11:57] uh but here what I'm teaching today

[1:12:01] antidote

[1:12:03] I'm not teaching to transformation I'm

[1:12:06] not teaching the realization of nature

[1:12:09] of attachment I'm teaching antidote I

[1:12:12] think that's a more uh functional

[1:12:16] practice us everyday life I think

[1:12:21] therefore what is antidote of attachment

[1:12:24] is love is Love is love is love

[1:12:30] and therefore practice love. I say we

[1:12:34] have eight steps or seven steps. I want

[1:12:37] to do this to doing the I go to give

[1:12:39] this practice you know uh after this

[1:12:43] question answer finish or eight or seven

[1:12:46] steps have or let's say eight steps have

[1:12:50] to to practice the love where we

[1:12:55] possible

[1:12:57] antidote of complete antidote of

[1:13:00] attachment.

[1:13:04] You know once we have once we become

[1:13:08] love

[1:13:10] yes we are become happiness we become no

[1:13:13] longer pain we have just energy. Once we

[1:13:16] become attachment we become not happy we

[1:13:21] always hurt and pain

[1:13:24] and we are always tired or exhaust.

[1:13:30] Therefore,

[1:13:32] yes. But

[1:13:35] uh you want this uh antidote of

[1:13:38] attachment something very very simple

[1:13:41] way everyday life something you know I

[1:13:43] go to teach you all this eight steps but

[1:13:45] do you feel this is kind of too

[1:13:47] complicated too much it I give it

[1:13:51] uh

[1:13:53] uh

[1:13:55] one simple practice one simple training

[1:13:59] and you just every day 108 time. I don't

[1:14:04] know 108 time you say I go I I go to

[1:14:10] give my best

[1:14:13] after whatever come I accepted.

[1:14:17] I give my best after whatever come I

[1:14:23] accepted. You say this 1008

[1:14:27] time verbally and also you really feel

[1:14:31] this way and you really try to mean this

[1:14:33] way and try to become this your habit

[1:14:36] habit you know you're more trending and

[1:14:40] this become your habit once this become

[1:14:43] your habit and this become you and this

[1:14:47] become direct antidote of attachment you

[1:14:51] see I I do my blessed

[1:14:55] after whatever come I accepted.

[1:15:01] Okay,

[1:15:06] >> now the 20 minutes are over in case you

[1:15:09] want to move on now.

[1:15:12] >> Okay. Well,

[1:15:13] >> thank you very much for answering the

[1:15:15] question.

[1:15:16] >> Okay. Thank you very much. and

[1:15:20] um

[1:15:21] and uh who I'm sure they have we have

[1:15:24] more questions but I cannot success to

[1:15:27] give answer all just remember whoever

[1:15:30] ask me this I hear

[1:15:34] your questions and therefore based of

[1:15:36] what I hear I give answer but that's not

[1:15:40] mean I know what you want to say

[1:15:46] that's I I cannot give only I possible

[1:15:51] give answer what I hear but I cannot

[1:15:53] give answer what you want to say and in

[1:15:56] this case is I'm not make fulfill of

[1:15:59] what you want to say and just please

[1:16:02] compassion me you know

[1:16:07] oh yeah what he's saying he don't

[1:16:10] understand me exactly exactly I didn't

[1:16:13] understand

[1:16:17] you know I'm just joking you know

[1:16:20] with one question I cannot go to

[1:16:22] understand sometime your husband wife

[1:16:25] stay your 25 years each stay 25 years

[1:16:30] stay together 24 hour after 25 years you

[1:16:34] discover you totally don't understand

[1:16:35] each other you know you every day you

[1:16:39] everyday think each other you every day

[1:16:41] talk each other you do everything

[1:16:43] together after I don't know 25 years you

[1:16:46] are totally discover you don't

[1:16:49] understand each other you know you

[1:16:51] totally misunderstand each other

[1:16:57] I'm just joking this you know of course

[1:16:59] I'm joking

[1:17:01] okay well we got to make a uh uh

[1:17:05] practice this seven no the eight steps

[1:17:10] of practice love ourself maybe and the

[1:17:15] first step is

[1:17:18] we first I say and then we go to

[1:17:20] practice first we meditate

[1:17:24] we are all same means we are all same

[1:17:29] means what I wanted what you wanted I

[1:17:34] wanted what you don't want it I don't

[1:17:36] want it you know you know we are same

[1:17:40] same Same same of course you say yeah

[1:17:43] yeah of course I know is you know you

[1:17:46] knowing is not enough you really need to

[1:17:49] feel this you know what you know is not

[1:17:52] enough really change it to you you what

[1:17:55] you know you need to feel you know you

[1:17:58] need to be calm

[1:18:01] yeah that's why we need meditation you

[1:18:04] know yeah

[1:18:06] therefore I want to be happy others want

[1:18:10] to be happy. What others wanted, I want

[1:18:14] it. What others don't want it, I don't

[1:18:17] want it. You know, I'm not different

[1:18:20] than others. Others not different than

[1:18:22] me. We are all same. You know, I want

[1:18:27] you really, not only I want you here,

[1:18:30] not only you understand, I really want

[1:18:33] you experience this. I want you really

[1:18:36] experience and feel this.

[1:18:39] And then that's is the foundation.

[1:18:44] And then second

[1:18:47] you know

[1:18:48] is uh meditation of we everybody

[1:18:54] what's say everybody wants help us or

[1:18:58] everybody helping us include ourself.

[1:19:03] You know I you know you understand

[1:19:06] everybody we meditate we meditate

[1:19:09] everybody helping us or we also try to

[1:19:13] help ourself you know it looks like you

[1:19:17] know look like we are not helping

[1:19:18] ourself but least we try you know

[1:19:22] therefore everybody that's why I always

[1:19:25] say people we born with help of others

[1:19:29] we live with help of others we die with

[1:19:32] help of others. You know you you know we

[1:19:37] we are always running behind help

[1:19:40] ourself. I mean or help ourself. We we

[1:19:44] try you know sometime we think we are

[1:19:46] not you know but we are trying. We are

[1:19:48] trying. Therefore everybody

[1:19:53] need help. Everybody need help

[1:19:58] or everybody helping and everybody need

[1:20:02] help and you need to see this you need

[1:20:05] to see this you know others helping us

[1:20:08] we also helping ourself you know you

[1:20:11] need to see this that is true you know I

[1:20:14] don't know is enough or enough good or

[1:20:16] enough no good no matter but we always

[1:20:19] try to helping ourself and you need to

[1:20:21] see this once you start to seeing

[1:20:24] and the helping and then you need what

[1:20:28] say gratefulness. You cannot have a

[1:20:30] gratefulness without seeing of the help.

[1:20:34] Let's say or help or whatever

[1:20:36] gratefulness

[1:20:38] you know you once you see help you see

[1:20:42] go to gratefulness. Once you feel

[1:20:45] gratefulness you start to feel

[1:20:48] thankfulness.

[1:20:49] Once you feel thankfulness

[1:20:52] and uh

[1:20:55] uh what to say thankfulness or and then

[1:20:59] you become what say

[1:21:02] you become you become a thankfulness

[1:21:05] means and the thankfulness and then you

[1:21:09] go to have a canness yourself.

[1:21:13] Canness yourself. Canness yourself.

[1:21:18] Once you have kindness yourself,

[1:21:19] kindness is a foundation of compassion

[1:21:22] yourself. Once you have compassion

[1:21:24] yourself and then what you call

[1:21:33] aturism I think Buddhist quote aturism

[1:21:36] aturism.

[1:21:38] Yes. It means

[1:21:40] Yeah. Aturism. Mhm. Means I can. Yeah.

[1:21:46] and the energy coming and then after

[1:21:50] atrisism at atrisism and then we have

[1:21:54] bodhicittita

[1:21:56] or complete love. Therefore I want to

[1:22:00] make a simple uh uh guidance here. Today

[1:22:04] we doing only practice love ourself.

[1:22:07] First you need to see we are same others

[1:22:11] what others wanted you wanted. Others

[1:22:14] what others don't want you don't want.

[1:22:17] You are not different than others. You

[1:22:19] want to be happy. You don't want the

[1:22:21] suffering. You know not only others want

[1:22:24] to be happy. Not only others don't want

[1:22:26] the suffering. You don't forget that you

[1:22:29] also don't want the suffering, you want

[1:22:31] the happy, you know. And that's first

[1:22:35] realization. And second, you need a

[1:22:37] realization of you really need to help

[1:22:39] yourself. You really need to help

[1:22:42] yourself. You really need help yourself.

[1:22:47] You know,

[1:22:49] a Buddha say, "I cannot help you except

[1:22:53] yourself."

[1:22:57] Buddha say I possible help you to help

[1:22:59] yourself but I cannot help you. You know

[1:23:03] Buddha say I I Buddha posible help you

[1:23:07] to help yourself but he cannot help you

[1:23:11] only you possible help yourself.

[1:23:13] Everybody possible help you to help

[1:23:16] yourself but nobody possible help you.

[1:23:19] Therefore you need help yourself. that

[1:23:24] your duty.

[1:23:27] Mhm.

[1:23:29] Once you help yourself and then you have

[1:23:33] this gratefulness,

[1:23:36] you know, gratefulness.

[1:23:38] Once you have a gratefulness and you

[1:23:41] have a thankfulness yourself, once you

[1:23:44] have thankfulness yourself, you have a

[1:23:46] foundation of a kindness yourself. Once

[1:23:50] you have a condition kindness yourself,

[1:23:53] you have a foundation what say of

[1:23:57] compassion yourself. Once you have

[1:24:00] compassion yourself,

[1:24:03] you know, and then you have this aturism

[1:24:08] atism mind

[1:24:10] means

[1:24:12] you can do

[1:24:14] you you can do anything yourself. You

[1:24:17] mean means you have energy. You have

[1:24:20] energy to do everything yourself. I

[1:24:23] think the aturism means you have extra

[1:24:28] energy

[1:24:31] to do things yourself

[1:24:35] and then after this

[1:24:38] you have love yourself

[1:24:43] and then you say what is love? I told it

[1:24:48] is uh

[1:24:52] uh kindness love means make you happy no

[1:24:56] longer hurt you have energy

[1:24:59] you know love means you go to you know

[1:25:02] you go to happy what to say you go to

[1:25:05] happy yourself you never go to hurt

[1:25:07] yourself you always become you always

[1:25:11] become your own energy

[1:25:14] you

[1:25:15] That's is love to practice ourself and

[1:25:19] then of course we practice love this

[1:25:20] also others and we also possible

[1:25:23] practice this kind of love in the nature

[1:25:26] but today we go to practice this kind of

[1:25:29] love ourself

[1:25:33] I think seven steps that's okay

[1:25:36] everybody are ready well I wanted make

[1:25:41] warm up our palms

[1:25:51] to make one self massage.

[1:26:12] shoulders.

[1:26:30] I want you in the breathe in out.

[1:26:34] Breathe in.

[1:26:36] Yeah.

[1:26:41] Breathe out strong.

[1:26:47] Soft breathe in.

[1:26:52] Strong breathe out.

[1:26:57] Soft breathe in.

[1:27:02] Strong breathe out.

[1:27:08] Now breath. Breathe in.

[1:27:14] The last one. Breath. Breathe out.

[1:27:20] Complete. Breath. Breathe out. Empty.

[1:27:23] Empty.

[1:27:27] Hold your breath out.

[1:27:32] Keep empty belly.

[1:27:39] Breath. Breathe in.

[1:27:45] Hold your breath.

[1:27:49] Hold your breath. And shaking your body

[1:27:52] littleer. Shaking. And also your faces.

[1:27:55] Hold your breath. Shaking. Shaking.

[1:27:57] Shaking. and heating it.

[1:28:07] Breathe out.

[1:28:12] Breathe in.

[1:28:15] Breathe out.

[1:28:19] Breathe in.

[1:28:22] Breathe out.

[1:28:28] Okay,

[1:28:30] please keep straight your spine. Relax

[1:28:33] your shoulders.

[1:28:51] Feel your body.

[1:28:55] and relax.

[1:28:59] And bring in the present moment.

[1:29:50] Deep breath. Breathe in.

[1:29:54] Deep breath. Breathe out.

[1:30:01] Make calm your breath.

[1:30:06] Also bring your breath. Present moment

[1:30:08] means bring more calm.

[1:30:57] and feel your mind

[1:31:02] and relax.

[1:31:05] Bring somehow present moment.

[1:31:48] Now you make some honest authentic

[1:31:54] look yourself.

[1:31:58] You are not a different than others.

[1:32:04] What others wanted, not only others

[1:32:08] wanted, you also wanted.

[1:32:11] What others don't want it, not only

[1:32:13] others don't want it, you also want it.

[1:32:24] You are not different than others.

[1:32:29] Same the others is not only who want

[1:32:32] happy others is not only who don't want

[1:32:36] the suffering

[1:32:37] you also want to be happy you also don't

[1:32:42] want the suffering not only you hear

[1:32:45] what I say not only you understand what

[1:32:48] I say I want you experience

[1:32:52] I want you feel

[1:33:00] What you hear not changed you enough.

[1:33:03] What you understand

[1:33:06] maybe not enough change you

[1:33:09] is you experience and that's enough to

[1:33:13] change you.

[1:33:19] Therefore,

[1:33:24] you hear many tundas or you know this

[1:33:28] already but you never experience this.

[1:33:34] Therefore,

[1:33:37] you or me you just say I'm not different

[1:33:41] than others. Same same

[1:33:51] That is a foundation of helping

[1:33:54] yourself. Without you seeing this, you

[1:33:58] never got to help yourself.

[1:34:07] Easy to help others

[1:34:09] but very difficult to help ourself.

[1:34:20] We have eyes to look others but we need

[1:34:22] a mirror to look ourself.

[1:34:27] Easy to help others more difficult

[1:34:30] helping ourself.

[1:34:37] Therefore you really need help yourself.

[1:34:44] I know we always somehow we doing this

[1:34:49] but you understand what I really mean

[1:34:57] until you don't see you are no different

[1:35:01] others

[1:35:03] maybe you don't have foundation to help

[1:35:05] yourself.

[1:35:21] Therefore,

[1:35:23] you need to

[1:35:25] accept it or you need to have a

[1:35:28] realization

[1:35:30] of you need to help yourself.

[1:35:35] to discover love in you.

[1:35:45] Once you start to helping yourself,

[1:35:49] you have a foundation of this

[1:35:52] gratefulness yourself.

[1:35:57] Gratefulness or gratefulness yourself.

[1:36:09] Once you don't help yourself,

[1:36:13] you don't have this realization.

[1:36:15] Maybe you don't you don't have

[1:36:18] foundation to feel gratefulness

[1:36:21] yourself.

[1:36:27] Once you feel gratefulness yourself,

[1:36:31] you start feel thankfulness yourself.

[1:36:48] Without thankfulness

[1:36:51] there no have a foundation of a

[1:36:53] kindness. Ladies, gentlemen, you cannot

[1:36:57] have kindness without thankfulness.

[1:37:05] Is I mean is you really want authentic

[1:37:11] absolute

[1:37:16] kindness or you want this intelligent

[1:37:22] kindness.

[1:37:25] The foundation of kindness,

[1:37:28] thankfulness.

[1:37:34] Once you feel thankfulness yourself and

[1:37:37] you start to see your inner beauty,

[1:37:50] you know, once you start to once you

[1:37:56] find a way to feel thankfulness

[1:38:00] yourself,

[1:38:02] you start to see

[1:38:04] is your beauty or inner beauty.

[1:38:09] The once you start this inner beauty

[1:38:13] same time you develop

[1:38:17] the kindness.

[1:38:23] The kindness is the inner beauty.

[1:38:28] Once you have a thankfulness, you have

[1:38:32] automatically

[1:38:37] feel kindness, you automatically

[1:38:40] feel inner beauty.

[1:38:49] Now question, are you feel thankfulness

[1:38:52] yourself?

[1:39:07] Are you feel gratefulness yourself?

[1:39:14] Are you feel

[1:39:17] is enough? Help yourself.

[1:39:24] Are you feel you is enough? Take time

[1:39:28] yourself

[1:39:30] or help yourself.

[1:39:36] One of the greatest regret of our life.

[1:39:41] We know enough love ourself.

[1:39:45] I know we want it

[1:39:52] but somehow we waiting

[1:40:01] means we know enough help ourself. We

[1:40:05] know enough take time ourself and

[1:40:08] therefore we don't feel gratefulness

[1:40:10] ourself. Therefore we don't feel

[1:40:12] thankfulness ourself. Therefore, we

[1:40:14] don't discover inner beauty or canness

[1:40:18] ourself.

[1:40:26] Therefore, I wanted

[1:40:34] Mhm.

[1:40:36] thankfulness yourself

[1:40:42] and kindness yourself.

[1:40:46] Once you have a kindness yourself,

[1:40:51] you always

[1:40:54] kindness yourself or inner beauty

[1:40:59] or inner beauty or canness yourself is a

[1:41:04] foundation of a compassion yourself.

[1:41:13] Without kindness, your compassion is

[1:41:17] just

[1:41:19] Without canness, your compassion

[1:41:24] is not become compassion just become

[1:41:28] sadness.

[1:41:31] Worst case become pain

[1:41:34] because compassion is very near of the

[1:41:37] sadness and the pain. Therefore many

[1:41:40] people name of compassion they ended sad

[1:41:44] person they ended very suffering person

[1:41:52] because

[1:41:53] they missed this order

[1:41:57] without kindness they no have a

[1:42:00] foundation of compassion without

[1:42:03] kindness your compassion

[1:42:06] just become suffering or sad. that or

[1:42:10] pain.

[1:42:12] We don't want suffering. We don't want

[1:42:15] sadness. We don't want pain. It's

[1:42:17] enough.

[1:42:37] Let's practice kindness yourself

[1:42:48] and let's practice compassion yourself

[1:42:53] means compassion yourself means

[1:43:00] you have a patience yourself you have a

[1:43:04] tolerance yourself.

[1:43:09] You have a space

[1:43:13] yourself.

[1:43:15] You not need perfect.

[1:43:19] You have a space to

[1:43:24] accept yourself.

[1:43:27] Not you are not perfect. You know

[1:43:32] you have a maximum tolerance yourself.

[1:43:35] You have maximum patience yourself.

[1:43:39] You have a space

[1:43:42] to have

[1:43:45] mistake. Mistake yourself or mistake

[1:43:48] yourself.

[1:43:50] And that's is compassion

[1:43:54] yourself.

[1:44:00] Sometime easy to compassion others but

[1:44:04] more difficult to compassion ourselves.

[1:44:09] Sorry.

[1:44:14] Therefore,

[1:44:16] compassion yourself.

[1:44:28] Once you have compassion yourself

[1:44:33] then and this become foundation

[1:44:37] of utterism.

[1:44:40] Arisism means

[1:44:43] you got to help yourself

[1:44:48] forever.

[1:44:50] You never give up yourself forever.

[1:44:57] What mean mind means

[1:45:02] you never give up yourself and you never

[1:45:06] stop to helping yourself.

[1:45:09] consistent

[1:45:11] consistent

[1:45:13] you never give up yourself I'm sure

[1:45:16] somehow nobody give up but I mean you

[1:45:18] you never give up yourself

[1:45:23] out world inner world secret world

[1:45:27] and you never stop to helping yourself

[1:45:32] that is atrisism

[1:45:40] And this give you.

[1:45:43] Uh-huh.

[1:45:52] And then number eight. Now you

[1:45:56] experience bodhicitta

[1:45:59] mind or bodhicha love

[1:46:13] means you got to be happy.

[1:46:22] Nothing got to make hurt you.

[1:46:26] Everything give you energy. Means

[1:46:34] once you have bodita heart or you have

[1:46:38] love is a guarantee

[1:46:41] you are happy of all beauties.

[1:46:47] is a guarantee

[1:46:51] any problem

[1:46:53] any kind of problem not going to hurt

[1:46:56] you

[1:46:59] guarantee everything give your energy

[1:47:04] right or I mean everything give your

[1:47:07] energy

[1:47:09] therefore love or bodhicha heart means

[1:47:14] is a diamond diamond Love

[1:47:18] means

[1:47:20] happiness, no hurt and energy.

[1:47:50] Okay, thank you very much.

[1:47:56] Something look like this.

[1:47:59] Yeah.

[1:48:02] Uh maybe you I mean Yes. Maybe you try

[1:48:08] to go to I don't know first you

[1:48:11] practiced love yourself then you

[1:48:14] practice love others or then you

[1:48:16] practice love in the nature.

[1:48:19] Therefore again I got to repeat one

[1:48:22] time.

[1:48:24] We today teach here how to practice love

[1:48:26] ourself

[1:48:28] because loving ourself is a foundation

[1:48:31] of love others

[1:48:37] and love ourself. I know everybody know

[1:48:41] or maybe everybody wanted is a good news

[1:48:44] everybody know maybe good news everybody

[1:48:47] wanted but wanting and knowing is not

[1:48:50] enough.

[1:48:55] I know you know

[1:48:58] that's why

[1:49:01] yeah is important when you practice love

[1:49:05] don't miss the number don't miss the

[1:49:09] number and don't miss the order.

[1:49:16] First you need understand each nature of

[1:49:20] the practice and the second you need

[1:49:22] understand important this number and the

[1:49:26] third is very important you understand

[1:49:28] this order is you know each practice the

[1:49:32] I give this eight or eight the last

[1:49:35] eight is not really practice is a result

[1:49:38] is a result

[1:49:40] state

[1:49:41] I told it what is what each uh steps

[1:49:47] You understand all the steps the nature

[1:49:50] of each steps that's very good but

[1:49:52] that's not enough. You need to

[1:49:54] understand

[1:49:56] the the number you know number don't

[1:49:58] miss don't is important number not

[1:50:01] enough four not enough five not enough

[1:50:04] six you know you need seven

[1:50:08] the number is important or number 79 you

[1:50:12] know it's 70 or8 the number is important

[1:50:15] don't miss the number don't miss the

[1:50:19] don't miss the nature each the practice

[1:50:22] don't miss the number

[1:50:24] you say three not enough, four is not

[1:50:27] enough, 10 we don't need it.

[1:50:33] uh and you say okay I I understand each

[1:50:36] nature of practice. I have the number

[1:50:38] eight. Eight. I know number. I know the

[1:50:42] nature. But no, the order you change it.

[1:50:46] Order. Correct. Is is order is you

[1:50:48] change it. The order. Or order is very

[1:50:52] very very important.

[1:50:57] It's look like you build you know order

[1:50:59] is very important. is you miss all the

[1:51:01] three element

[1:51:04] maybe

[1:51:06] well maybe well maybe I don't know maybe

[1:51:11] you you not name of the love you ended

[1:51:16] with the greatest attachment

[1:51:29] Yeah. And uh what is

[1:51:33] Yes. Understand?

[1:51:36] Understand each nature of each steps

[1:51:42] and number. No more no less

[1:51:45] and order.

[1:51:48] If you miss one of those,

[1:51:51] maybe you miss everything.

[1:51:59] Therefore, if you want love yourself,

[1:52:06] you need energy to you know you need

[1:52:10] energy to you know you have motivation

[1:52:13] or you have a motivation or you enough

[1:52:16] energy you have enough motivation to

[1:52:20] help yourself.

[1:52:24] your motivation, you know, be, you know,

[1:52:28] you need if you want love yourself, you

[1:52:31] need enough energy or you need enough

[1:52:35] motivation

[1:52:38] to help yourself not give up yourself.

[1:52:45] But is you wanted

[1:52:48] uh to

[1:52:51] you is you want motivation to

[1:52:55] help yourself.

[1:53:00] Mhm. Or or is you need energy to help

[1:53:04] yourself. Foundation is compassion

[1:53:07] yourself.

[1:53:09] Is you want compassion yourself

[1:53:12] foundation to be kind yourself?

[1:53:15] Is you want to be kind yourself is a

[1:53:18] foundation thankfulness yourself.

[1:53:20] Thankfulness yourself. Really I mean

[1:53:23] really I mean thankfulness yourself.

[1:53:27] If you want the thankfulness yourself is

[1:53:31] not come without cause. Yeah. Yeah. We

[1:53:35] are Buddhism we believe it cause effect.

[1:53:40] If you want feel thankfulness yourself,

[1:53:42] you need it.

[1:53:45] Gratefulness yourself.

[1:53:48] If you want gratefulness yourself,

[1:53:51] you need help yourself.

[1:53:54] If you want help yourself, you need to

[1:53:57] see you need to see yourself others is

[1:54:01] same.

[1:54:03] Not only others need help, you need

[1:54:06] help.

[1:54:08] Not only others don't want the

[1:54:09] suffering, you don't want the suffering.

[1:54:11] Not only others want happy, you want to

[1:54:13] be happy.

[1:54:16] Therefore, my conclusion, love is best

[1:54:20] medicine.

[1:54:22] Love is the wisdom without your

[1:54:25] learning.

[1:54:27] Love is medicine without

[1:54:31] doctor. Love is wealth without money.

[1:54:37] When you have love, you have all. When

[1:54:40] you have one thing, you have all. This

[1:54:43] is love. Love. Love. Love is our nature.

[1:54:50] To discovering our unconditional nature,

[1:54:54] we need make a

[1:54:57] seven steps. The last step is the state,

[1:55:02] the result. You know your nature. Last

[1:55:05] step say eight step I think I say the

[1:55:08] last step is not really step is your

[1:55:10] state and your nature

[1:55:13] be look like lion don't be look like a

[1:55:15] dog is you want to be look like a dog

[1:55:18] practice attachment if you want to be

[1:55:20] look like lion practice

[1:55:23] love don't drink in the wooden

[1:55:27] cup is a break you cannot fix it

[1:55:32] drink in the golden Come if you break

[1:55:36] you possible fix it means never go to

[1:55:39] break.

[1:55:41] Attachment

[1:55:44] make you have a break heart.

[1:55:47] Love never make you have a break heart.

[1:55:52] And thank you very very much and I have

[1:55:55] this opportunity to teach you and share

[1:55:58] you is how I teach how I say is they

[1:56:02] have any kind of form of mistake and

[1:56:04] please and compassion me and much much

[1:56:08] respect and much much love you all and I

[1:56:12] see some of the faces of course who I I

[1:56:15] know always but also some new faces and

[1:56:18] also I know some of your faces I know

[1:56:21] long-term go maybe 20 years ago but long

[1:56:24] time I never see you know and therefore

[1:56:27] because of this technology give us such

[1:56:30] opportunity and thank you much respect

[1:56:34] and hope you have a good good weekend

[1:56:38] and please practice love yourself

[1:56:42] is the way to love others

[1:56:45] please

[1:56:47] change yourself and that's is a way to

[1:56:50] change others When you change it, others

[1:56:53] change it.

[1:56:56] Thank you. I'm finished.

In "The Power of Love," Tulku Lobsang says love is our unconditional nature, while anger, attachment, and ego are conditional natures that change with time and circumstance. He describes love as a wisdom and a wealth we are born with rather than something we learn or earn.
He describes the three qualities of love of the mind as happiness, freedom from hurt or pain, and energy. He says genuine love gives you energy rather than draining it, so you do not need to take energy from others.
He argues that truth and knowledge change with culture, religion, and person, and are diluted by anger, ego, and attachment, so they cannot guarantee a peaceful world. He concludes that love is more important than truth and wisdom is more important than knowledge.
Conditional nature includes anger, attachment, and ego, which all change as conditions, time, and people change. Unconditional nature is love, which he says does not change even as a person's circumstances and states shift.
Tulku Lobsang says we practice not to create love but to discover the love already within us. Practice is a way of uncovering what is already present.
He describes beginning with love for oneself, then extending it to near and dear ones, strangers, and those we dislike or consider enemies, and finally to nature such as sky, sun, moon, water, and flowers. He emphasizes that self-kindness and self-tolerance form the foundation.
No. Tulku Lobsang explicitly says that we are a world of problems and that love does not make life free of difficulty. Instead, he frames love as changing how we relate to those problems and how we draw energy.
