Anke Lenz

Anke Lenz is a yoga and meditation teacher and the founder of Soul & Sun Yoga. She describes herself as a social pedagogue (Sozialpädagogin), seminar leader and long-time yoga and meditation teacher, and she brings her experience of working with people together with her love of yoga and travel. Her Insight Timer page places her in Berlin and at Lake Constance (Bodensee).

Since 2018 she has planned and led personally guided yoga journeys and retreats, working with her team and carefully chosen local partners. The retreats take place in Germany, Austria, Spain, Portugal, Georgia, India and Sri Lanka. They are small groups in special places, combining yoga and meditation with nature, culture and real encounters. Her stated emphasis is on sustainability and authentic experiences, and she invites people to arrive just as they are. Retreats are open to all levels, and international trips are held in German and English.

Beyond retreats, Anke offers private 1:1 sessions in yoga and meditation, which include breathwork and setting an intention, as well as ThetaHealing®, which works with beliefs and the patterns behind them. Her workshops include women's circles and introductory Ayurveda sessions. She also leads a women's yoga and intuitive painting retreat near Berlin.

She has practised different forms and traditions of meditation for over ten years. Her regular travels to places such as India and Sri Lanka inspire her teaching, and she studies traditional knowledge there and shares it in the West. For Soul & Sun Yoga, she describes a philosophy of experiencing body, mind and feeling as one and of finding more strength and calm.
