Blessfest Hawaii

Imagine a day immersed in the transformative power of kirtan—ancient chanting practices woven into contemporary grooves that move both your heart and body. Blessfest Hawaii brings together seekers, musicians, and spiritual practitioners for a celebration of sacred sound, set against the tropical backdrop of Pahoa, Hawaii. On Thursday, January 28, 2027, you're invited to experience the innovative artistry of Grammy-nominated musician Dave Stringer, whose boundary-crossing approach to kirtan bridges the transcendent mysticism of East Indian ragas with the exuberant energy of modern music.

This is more than a performance—it's a gathering designed to awaken your spirit, connect you with community, and remind you of the healing power of collective sound. Whether you're a devoted kirtan practitioner or exploring sacred music for the first time, Blessfest Hawaii offers an accessible entry point into practices that have nourished seekers for centuries. The festival creates space for genuine transformation, inviting you to release what no longer serves and attune yourself to frequencies of joy, devotion, and awakening.

What to Expect

Blessfest Hawaii unfolds as an immersive sonic and spiritual experience. Dave Stringer leads participants through kirtan—call-and-response chanting paired with instrumental music—creating an atmosphere of collective joy and meditative presence. Many attendees describe a sense of timelessness, emotional release, and renewed connection to themselves and others. You'll leave with a felt sense of expansion, fresh vocal and spiritual practices you can integrate into daily life, and the memory of singing in resonance with a conscious community.
